OLD CS1

I have this item and do not know what it is exactly. I have tried to post pictures but cannot. 

Any suggestions on posting pictures is welcome too. I believe it has to do with Ham radios and/or Commodore Computer. 

It is a small black box.  5" x 3". It opens up. Has a small round speaker at the top. An orange light in the middle.  And a switch at the bottom.  They wrote For tapes ICDK early. GE Tape RCDR on one side and For Vic Gen, Tape RCDR on the other.

Also, on one side of the switch there is a (n). The other an (I). It has 3 cords. One goes to a computer, I am guessing, that say TRW and a bunch of numbers.  And two what I would say DC power connections. 

A good number of items that I have are associated with one or both of the Commodore Computers or ham radios from an estate.

Also most are from the late 1970s or the early 1980s. Any suggestions? 

I posted this exact thing already but couldn't figure out how to share it with you.  Hopefully I don't get in trouble.  It was suggested I ask you.  Hard to do without pictures.
