  1. Opcode sold out of it 1 day before I was going to order it. Perhaps someone here wants to sell their copy ?
  2. Thanks for taking the time to make this game and share it *comments from first 30 min of playing it* add * for pause press fire to restart at end of game / score screen make fill faster if possible can draw new line be different color then fill color, so you can see where you started to draw a new line if I remeber right doesn't the sound of the game make it so you can think of the center guy trying to go super fast or slow, i.e. safer to move when slow Is the center guy usually more line like Can you change background color to black as with the F18A it shows the light blue fill color as the border, black would look better Perhaps change fill colors between levels Provide 3 lives Give % filled on screen if possible, i.e. 59% filled 65% needed or something like that Change title screen to black with white lettering, perhaps add graphic if possible thanks
  3. I've been trying to play Gulkave and I'm pretty bad at it. Is there some tricks to this game. I just can't seem to figure out the right pattern. On level 1 the red follow me guys always kill. It just seems way too hard and I'm thinking Star Force is a good amount of hard in comparision. Gulkave seems way harder to play. Am I missing something?
  4. 1. Star Force 2. Bank Panic 3. Magical Tree 4. Circus Charlie 5. Mario Bros 6. Starcom 7. Gulkave 8. Golgo 13 9. Girl's Garden 10. Ozma Wars
  5. Thanks for the update Al.
  6. or 3.8M and level 79 www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/7984505102
  7. I guess infinity is going to be a long time
  8. Are you thinking of the rectangle cutout with the metal plate left on? I would shorten the ribbon cable if you have a vise.
  9. I've been thinking of taking a Sega Saturn controller and adapting to use the Neo Geo to CV box I made, so I could use the left and right shoulder buttons for Front Line use. The secondary purpose is for Bank Panic as it has 3 buttons on the right. Middle button will map to up.
  10. got 1/2 way through level 24 and died man this game is hard
  11. but I'm not sure how they treat their labor force, I hope the union can help them out
  12. perhaps, but way easier on original Neo Geo controller hmm. on 2nd thought this is just a 2 player arcade control panel. Embed a grayhill keypad and CV controller PCB and add a CV port.
  13. it better with 4 button controller, but still button 2 goes clockwise and button 3 counter-clockwise. But if button 2 is on left and button 3 on right, then its kind of backwards.
  14. Thanks for the list so far we'll check them out anything like a Metal Slug type game or Ikari Warriors / Commando or vertical shooters with 2 player co-op?
  15. I have that one (came on 128 SD cart) and its good for me, but not so much for my 8 years old, he likes the game, but its just a little hard for him to remember to get moving in the new direction then press jump. this is the type of game I'm talking about for sure.
  16. Any CV games that support 2 player at the same time and on the same team?
  17. Sorry to hear that Eduardo, does your apartment's renters insurance cover something like this?
  18. http://www.gooddealg...lecovision.html He still has Star Force - highly recommended however you might to use something other than the standard Colecovision controller, if you have arcade type controller that works best
  19. level 22 today, this is such a great game - Thanks Ed, Luc and company.
  20. Yeah very little space for the joystick. I think in its ideal spot it would only have 1 or 2mm at most at the bottom. A little more space for the buttons, but again close. Just hard to tell if its worth building something like this vs. using the Neo Geo controller as its just so nice. But perhaps I'll get the case just just to try it. Since its flat it should be easy to adjust joystick, keypad, buttons. Specs for buttons / joystick are at: www.akihabarashop.jp
  21. Had anyone used a Hammond 1599KTSBK case to make a custom controller? http://www.digikey.com/scripts/dksearch/dksus.dll?vendor=0&keywords=1599KTSBK perhaps with Seimitsu LS-33 joystick and 24mm PS-14-DN or 30mm PS-14-GN If does the lip around the cases edge cause any issue? Would a thick control panel overlay fix this issue?
  22. me too, sticker would label switch on side of neo geo controller. the masking tape and sharpie i have now doesn't look so hot
  23. I have rev H Colecovision (Canadian CV) and the C3 cap was labeled Tracon 1/50 T8302a. On a rev H schematic C3 is labeled 1uf, page 4 upper right. I'm thinking 1/50 means 1uf and 50V. I replaced C3 electrolytic cap with a 10uf 16v electrolytic cap (10v would have been fine) and now no more garbled boot graphics for Frogger. I did notice my other Colecovisions all had a 10uf cap in location C3 (near reset button in front right). These are all Rev F if I remember right.
  24. Anyone know where to get a small Colecovision sticker, say 1 inch x 1 inch, or close to that? If not Colecovision , Coleco is ok too. thanks
