  1. Oblivion on PS3. That game is evil. It steals hours away from my life.
  2. The GBC is a great machine, no doubt. The screen was nice, and the fact that it even played older GB games in color was neat too. Durable beast as well, as it was able to handle putting up with sandboxes, high drops, and other terrible things my 7-year-old self would put it through My friend had a pocket, which was pretty great too. He used that up until the GBA came out. Never seen a GB light, though...
  3. Autoduel. My goodness I suck at that game. I do like the game, and the overall concept, but no matter how many times I try, I can't ever seem to get the hang of it. Castlevania is another one, for most of the reasons other people have pointed out: cheap deaths, overly powerful enemies, etc. Still, I do like this game. Super Mario Bros 3 too, mainly because I've never been good at it Stupid reason, I know
  4. Done with exams! Time to play Vanguard 2600.

  5. No. Frankly, I don't care about what's happening with the hackers or Sony, I'd just like to be able to play online again (potential stolen information aside, of course). Also, sorry if this sounded too aggressive. I didn't mean it that way
  6. Yikes... Good thing that's only a mock-up... That would be a nightmare for me. I'm with the others that just want a good old controller.
  7. I enjoyed this game very much, and I'd definitely be interested in a sequel as well. If its based on the portables, I'd guess that it will probably come out on the PSP.
  8. Typically a Genesis controller, but sometimes a Wico bat.
  9. Your collection is awesome! Great work collecting for that system
  10. I'd say I'm of the same mindset, man. I don't have a lot of shelf space, and a lot of it is already used up by my book collection, so having carts stacked up takes up a lot less space than boxes That said, I will only collect Master System games with boxes. No idea why, it just feels wrong without them for that system. Everything else is okay by me.
  11. 1 2600 (4 switch woody) 1 5200 (4 port) 1 Lynx (original model) 1 Jaguar 1 (Broken) 400
  12. I remember seeing that picture too.
  13. Ack! Another game to put on the want list! Gah, I'm going to be broke soon :/
  14. I like Solaris and Stargate.
  15. I have an original model DS that I bought from day 1, and honestly, it's a bit hard to recommend nowadays, with it's dim and low resolution screens. If you're going that route, I would look for a good deal on a DS-lite, which actually has larger and brighter screens, as well as a larger stylus while retaining all the functionality of the original model. If not that, then saving up for a 3DS might be advised, as it's backwards compatible, and I'm sure the screens are nice on that model, though it doesn't have GBA BC if you're interested in that.
  16. I'll definitely be looking into this. I've only played the NES one before, but still...
  17. Gemstick and CX-40 are great, but I prefer the Gemstick. Though, I prefer the Wico Bat over both
  18. After my friends and I played RCR on the GBA, we were hooked. I sure hope this keeps the same vibe...
  19. I think it all depends on which one you started on. I like GTA IV a lot, second to San Andreas, but it was also the first one I played. I do admit that the cell phone calls got out of hand, but I always liked the story, setting, etc. GTA III on the other hand... Maybe it's because I didn't play it back in the day, but I was not impressed. It's nearly impossible for me to play it nowadays. Same with Vice City . As for the 2D ones, I've only played GTA2 and Chinatown Wars, but those are great games. I've never played the first one, unfortunately, but I know that Rockstar used to have free download links for them a while back.
  20. Well, a few of mine... 1. Artwork definitely has an influence on my buying habits. If I find a game with cool artworks (bonus points for anime), I'll usually choose it over other styles, even if I've never heard of the game before. This leads to some... interesting results. 2. I'm with the others who said they go into buying games knowing they'll be bad. I really get a kick out of bad games. Kinda the same as bad movies, I guess. Guilty pleasure. 3. Yes, I've broken a few controllers in my rage before. Mostly Genesis and N64, though they were almost all 3rd-party so it doesn't matter as much... right?
  21. What's your opinion on the motion controls? I actually got to the point where I could only use motion controls, and I was very good with them. Using a controller seemed really clunky after I mastered the Wii Wheel, though I needed the plastic Nintendo wheel to do well. Using the bare controller, or a third party wheel, never seemed to work quite right. In other words, like any other thing in life, it works well if you practice using it enough.
  22. I don't think my exams will go well tomorrow...

  23. I like the Gamecube controllers a lot. In fact, I'm fond of pretty much ALL of Nintendo's controllers (yes, even the N64 controller. It's one of my favorites, aside from the control stick's durability...), but my biggest problem with this particular controller, like most of you, is its D-pad. Not the spacing or size, mind you, but its stiffness. To me, this thing was so rock-solid that it made some arcade and fighting games near-impossible to play with it. There are some nice third party options available, and I'm sure there's more than one PS1/2 to GC adapter floating around out there...
  24. Power Serve tennis for PS1... It was completely broken.
  25. I actually just got done playing Metal Head on the 32X I love that game, the music is awesome. If you hold A+B+C and Start as you turn on the system, you can change the portraits to anime girls, which is pretty cool.
