This would've been better as a Three Stooges game with Larry, Curly, Moe, and Shemp running amok.

I understand. When I first started collecting, I was one of the "fools" duped into buying a Hozer cart for too much, although nowhere near $142. The ebay seller did mention that the cart was a Hozer, but at that point I didn't know Hozer from Salu or even Imagic, for that matter. Therefore, it didn't occur to me that it was a reproduction. Ebay sellers should explicitly label Hozer carts as reproductions. The attitude that those who don't know any better deserve to get screwed smacks a little too much of social Darwinism for my tastes. I wouldn't mind an Eli's Ladder from Hozer, it is no different than the Best Electronics 2600 Pengo, 2600 Quadrun, 2600 protos like Donald Duck's Speedboat, Frog Pond, The A Team etc... I purchased from them during the mid 90s. They came in carts like this (Bottom right hand side): Quadrun or Pengo (can't remember which that one was) can be seen on the bottom right, a Best cartridge from the mid 90s. I don't have a problem with Hozer's as long as it's advertised and priced fairly. Now that I know better, I would buy directly from Hozer's rather than off ebay.

I'm assuming this is too small. The AA uploader wouldn't handle the larger bitmap file. I think 2 MB is the largest file it will take. If you know of a way around this prob, let me know and I'd be happy to try again. Or perhaps I could send the picture directly from scanner to email (i'm not very experienced with picture files) Also, note the scratches on the right side of the image -- not sure if this would be acceptable for your purposes.

It's pretty easy, and you don't have to take your console apart. I do this: 1) Expose the port. - Atari games have little tabs that push open the door covering your port. However, you can also open this door without a cartridge. Just observe where the cartridge tabs press to open the door. I just stuck some stir sticks in there. If you have an Atari Jr then skip this step as there is no cover for it! 2) Clean the port with such tools as a vacuum, can of compressed air, and some tweezers (for hair and other crap that won't come out). - You can get a can of compressed air from any computer store, but look for good deal or they will gouge you. Read the label on the can of compressed air before using it. The label will tell you how to orient the can properly so that the gases mix well. 3) Wipe the port. - Chop a plastic card that you don't use (I used my library card ha ha) to about 2/3 the length of the port. This length leaves you room to slide the card up and down in the port. - Next, cut some strips of blank paper and wrap them around the card. - Apply a cleaner to paper. I went down to the drugstore and bought a bottle of Isopropyl Alcohol (99% pure). Works great. I applied it to the paper with some Q-tips. - Now scrub the port with the paper wrapped around the card. Change the paper as needed. My only tip here is to get a feel of how much alcohol to put on the paper. Too much alcohol, and the paper becomes weak and won't scrub as much. Excellent!! I'm printing this out for use on a rainy day--- which is most days in Cleveland Thanks :!:

Why not just buy a Harmony cart for the games you want to play? I mean I have a ton of loose Atari games in my collection, but I just use the Harmony for playing. Also, you might want to clean the cartridge port on your 2600. Anybody know of posted instructions on how to clean the cartridge port safely? I'm not an electronics guy and don't want to start taking consoles apart if I don't know what i'm doing :!: For really dirty ports, I use 400grit autobody paper folded over twice into an inch wide strip. Then I work it carefully up and down while moving it from one side to the other. It does remove a miniscule amount of metal, but very effective. I guess I can't use my Aldi's toilet paper ---- that's about 16 grit

At first I was like But soon after I became all Mainly because I don't think I'll have a chance of beating it by Monday. But to give others a glimmer of hope, I offer up a work in progress: ("feather, feather, man" is also Extra Bonus. ) nice power-up chart The speed-up one frightens me. I feel like I'm astrally projecting outside my body.... -
Emulation question: When i press F12 to take a screenshot on Stella, a message briefly appears at the botton of the screen to indicate that the command registered. The problem is that I don't know where the screenshot is saved and therefore cannot access it to upload for the HSC threads. Are screenshots saved by default to a specific location?

Yeah, it turned out OK. After the screenshot saves as a bitmap, you can change it to a PNG image. Thanks
