I must be using an older version of Prosystem, i press CTRL + C to save a screenshot. I'm using Prosystem 13, and the CTRL + C hasn't worked for me. I'll have to try the other options..... Well, i tried F12 to produce a screenshot, but all it did was slow the action down on-screen OK, I discovered that F12 does indeed work for me. It was automatically saving my screenshots to my Prosystem folder without any indication that it was doing so. -

I also prefer hardware to emulation, and I like to collect, but I can't afford all the carts I'd like to buy. I recently began playing along in the 2600 and 7800 high score clubs on this site, and emulation comes in handy when I don't own the game being played during a particular week. Also, my 7800 just broke down, so until I get it fixed I'll have to settle for the Prosystem emulated versions. I do want to look into getting a harmony cart at some point, but I didn't think they were currently available. Have fun...

With the exception of Robotron, I just use the keyboard. Any control setup is fine as per the HSC rules. I'll see if I can do any better later tonight when I have a bit of spare time, but I was pretty surprised I got as far as I did. Real problem with me is fighting the dragons as my ninja seems magically drawn to dragon fire. Thanks for the input, Mord. I've yet to play Robotron. What controller do you use with it?

If your girlfriend does take the atari back, you can always download the Stella emulator to your PC and play any game you want for free. Investing in a usb joystick or a Stelladapter to use Atari controllers would make it even more worthwhile.

Are you playing on hardware or emulator? If emulator, what kind of controller are you using? Using JoyToKey freeware you can reconfigure the functions so that the first button is used for kick/shoot and the up y-axis is used to jump up. But I don't know if such reconfiguration conforms to HSC rules. Perhaps Roadrunner could address this question? I'm curious as to what types of controllers other HSC members are using emulated games

When I play game 2 on my cart, it does get faster at the 3rd level but not quite as fast as the 3a speed. The levels immediately following the 3rd are probably at the same speed, but don't seem quite as fast due to one's sensory-motor adaptation (just a theory).
