  1. My first post on the 7800 HSC Scored 16,640.....I'll have to look at the manual before trying again! Seems like a cool game.
  2. Downloaded JoyToKey today and tried it out. Works nicely!! Now I'm able to use a 2600 joystick or the 7800 pro-line joystick (or the joypad) in combination with the Stelladapter to play emulated 7800 games. Awesome!! Thanks again to Rex!!!
  3. Attached incorrect photo on previous post; here's the one showing 9680
  4. Making very gradual progress on this one: 9,680
  5. I know I couldn't play this game on a keyboard. Here are a couple of options you may or may not be aware of: 1. Buy a Stelladaptor from the Atariage store (when its back up), which allows you to plug in your regular Atari joystick, paddles, or keypad controller. 2. Buy a usb joystick from legacyengineer.com The first option is more expensive but it allows you to use a variety of atari controllers, whereas the second option is joystick only.
  6. I don't own a stelladapter, but does it just feed joystick inputs to a windows PC over the USB connection? If so, I think you could use something like JoyToKey to convert those to fake keyboard keypresses that surely Prosystem would accept. If it doesn't work, oh well, I felt bad seeing 70+ views and 0 replies so I figured I'd give it a shot. Thanks, Rex. I appreciate both the info and the sympathy! I'll look into the link you provided.
  7. Sorry, I didn't see the Adventure box at first but discovered it after the previous post. Very nice work!!
  8. Sweet! How 'bout one for Adventure with one of the dragons on the cover?
  9. A couple quick tips for those who aren't familiar with this game: 1. Playing Oink is murder on the wrist/elbow, and it doesn't take very long for fatigue to set in. Instead of using a regular joystick, you might want to try a less bulky controller such as the joypad, if you have one, or perhaps a controller with the fire button at the top of the handle. 2. When your piglet comes out at the start of each level, you don't have to start right away if you need a rest. The big, bad wolf will not come out until you start moving your piglet, so stay still and rest your hand a little bit before moving on.
  10. ROLLED IT!!!: 114,000 I didn't pause the game in time to get picture of my final score. I tip my hat to Oyamafamily. Thought i had him beat, but i really ran out of steam after rolling the score over. Here's snapshot before I rolled----
  11. Improvement on my score: 31,473. I couldn't take a snapshot of the screen cuz the lithium batteries in my digital camera died.
  12. Hi folks. I'm fairly new to the world of emulation, and was attempting to use atari controllers on Prosystem 7800 emulator via the Stelladaptor. No success, but i don't know if this is due to incompatibility or if I just don't know what I'm doing. If the prosystem 7800 emulator doesn't support Stelladaptor, then what are the options for controllers beyond keyboard/mouse? Thanks in advance.
  13. Congrats, Jakob! Now I'm going to have to work harder in order to catch up.... Have fun! Thanks, I expect you to catch up soon. I was 1 dragon smack away from the next round too... but my hands are tired. Your turn This is a really cool game, I never heard of it. Is it very rare? It's NOW my favorite breakout type game. I agree, this is the best breakout game I ever played. I think its somewhat hard to get. I bought it last spring off ebay for a good price, but I had to take my chances with shippiing from Venezeula. Fortunately, it came thru o.k. and waited in its shrinkwrap until this high score contest. I also agree with your tip to avoid the zig-zag powerup, especially when the bird is present. Although it helped me out a couple times, it is usually the kiss of death.
