  1. With a seller name like buttcrack plumber,I suspect there is a logical reason for that!

I have also dealt with this seller

Tries to play both sides against the middle

20 days after the auction I've left him negative feedback and opened a case, just got a message from him.

"dont bid on my item anymore. i will issue you a refund for this game. now piss off!!"

  2. Jeffrey Drost ([email protected]) aka butcrackplumber on eBay is one of those sellers who has now repeatedly not honored auctions.

First time I've won Q*bert, Pinball and Triple Action for the Intellivision and never got them. Finally got an refund by PayPal.

This time I've won Donkey Kong Jr. and again I've to get my money back through PayPal. Left him negative feedback this time.

Others on AA were also waiting for items from him, not sure if they ever got them.

Jeffrey Drost aka butcrackplumber

I think he should also be put on the scammer list. Someone who takes the money but never ships the item is a scammer in my eyes.

  3. I just don't get it....I know that PayPal sucks and all, but it simply amazes me that this guy has an obvious "scammer" track record which dates back over 10 years!!! How is it that he still manages to have a PayPal account at all??? It seems to me that it would just be an incredibly tremendous hassle for PayPal. You think they would learn!

And he even has the same e-mail address since then

  4. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 1306059789311?ff3=2&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&item=130605978931&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]

Everyone better back off! Im buying these!

This guy is buying and re-selling Intellivision stuff since a few months. Just have a look at his feedback what he recently bought. You will then find them the items relisted from him. Makes me wonder how someone can think someone is willing to pay 3 times the price he got it for. Obviously everyone else was willing to pay less then he, not more.

  5. I bought the game "Depth Charge" on 11/05 here:

    http://www.digitpress.com/library/videosoft/depthcharge.htm

    The seller is Scott Stilphen.

On 11/18 I've opened a case on PayPal and asked for a tracking number, which he then provided. Today I've checked the tracking number and it was a wrong one. The package was delivered in a different state.

I've now escalated the case and he provided an other wrong tracking number to PayPal. This package was even sent before the purchase and seems to have been lost:

    https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction_input?qtc_tLabels1=03103490000247428036&qtc_senddate1=&qtc_zipcode1=

So he is obviously providing wrong tracking numbers on purpose.

    Stay away from this scammer.

  6. If people are buying them exclusively to re sell them at a profit I agree but just because someone is selling something for more then they originally paid doesn't make them a bad person trying to prevent others from getting something they want. Sometimes people just need money, shit happens in life and there is no reason they should be barred from something for trying to get the most they can.

I agree, but the seller of "War" for example should now be banned from the second print of the game. I leaves a very bad taste in my mouth that just after a second print is in the works a copy shows up on eBay.

  7. Tough to distinguish those types from the person who's fallen on hard times and is trying to maximize their profit potential.

I agree that there may be valid reasons to sell homebrews. But regardless of the reason I think resellers should be put on a list. On top of the list should be a list of all the releases with their release date and original price and below all resellers with their asking price and sell date.

Anyone selling a homebrew now should for example be excluded from "Present Catcher".
