I don't see shill bidding here. The bid history of the bidders looks ok.

He had an item listed for $19.99 and I tried best offer getting it for $16.99 and got declined.
I wound up buying it for an accepted offer of $18.99 'cause it was worth it to me, so it doesn't decline _everything_. Just most.
Oh, wow. So he only has the limit at 95% and not at 99% of the BIN price. Most of the stuff he bought elsewhere and then relisted them for 3 times the price. He probably hopes when the other seller has sold his stock he gets rich.
No one needs sellers like robotkingnes or beep4me. I ignore such sellers and just wait for the items to show up on eBay from someone else.
-
beep4me is also one of those sellers on eBay. He has a best offer option, but every offer is automatically declined. You can offer $45 for a $50 item and it's declined. Would be nice to have an option "exclude this seller from listings" on eBay.

Two sellers have listed a PC game I'd like to buy for $49.95 since over 1 year. One of them doesn't take offers (asked) and the other one send me a counteroffer of $42.95. The game isn't even worth the $25 I've offered him. I also wrote him 6 month ago and also now and all he does is sending a ridiculous counteroffer.
But some sellers are ok to deal with. Someone listed ST games for $15-$25 each. Bought 20 from him for $10 each. But unfortunately that's the exception. Usually you have guys like Gary who is selling ST games here in the marketplace. Poor attitude and ridiculous prices.

Hi,
I take one.

I can see why they are doing it. And 25 items in 60 days is not that much. They probably just want to exclude private sellers, who may not be able to fulfill a lot of orders.
-
This one was listed for 10 minutes, so everyone else had a fair chance

-
... THE MORE YOU BUY THE BETTER THE PRICE.
"Your list, as it stands below comes to $730. Take all and I'll make it an even $700."
A 4% discount is impressive.
Fair pricing would be:
Single games: $10 each
25+ games: $9 each
50+ games: $8 each
100+ games. $7.50 each
200+ games: $5 each
Reminds me of other large old Atari stock, where the owner thought he is a millionaire.
Also as others have already mentioned, collectors want stuff in mint condition. Your items mostly have shelfwear.

Have to disagree with that one (not the quality of the system, just the ease-of-acquiring-stuff-on-it factor). Most of the stuff on that system has dried up big time, and finding the late-late release titles seems to be a futile effort these days (I now regret getting rid of the few later titles I had).
N-gage is indeed getting rare. Also I luckily got a lot of the Gizmondo games while they were available. The market is now dried up. I only collect sealed games and overall the market is drying up. A complete collection of sealed games for the 5200 or 7800 seems doable, every other system I'd say no. I probably have to fill the holes with CIB games.
P.S.: So far I've 30 moving boxes full of sealed vintage games
An entire moving box full of Astrocade games and an other one with Intellivision games. Yesterday I got two boxes with 120 games of old Mindscape stock

You've just registered on AtariAge to sell C64 stuff?

-
Yah, I had the same issue and finally heard from him yesterday and he apologized and said that both his Paypal and ebay accounts had been hacked. I hope he's telling the truth and I get my stuff.

BS! I also emailed him directly and he never replied. Also how can he list more stuff on eBay, if his account has been "hacked"?
He probably didn't like the price. I bet our stuff gets relisted.
-
I take number 12.
-
I just went with prices of completed listings for the most part.
Really?
eBay Auction -- Item Number: 260860529932

Jeffrey Drost aka butcrackplumber is a scammer. Won Qbert, Pinball and Triple Play (Sears) from him for each $60. Paid 1 month ago, never got them. Also doesn't reply to messages but lists new stuff. Got my money back from PayPal.

Still super temped by your sealed Meteorites.
One just sold for $90 on eBay.

Everyone is welcome to come and play it either October 15 during our next public open house, or October 22nd during our next "Game Night".
I suggest to have it dumped before you share it with the public. I don't want to see it being "lost".

I'm not taking about Defender. I'm talking about the 1978 releases of games like Slot Racers, Space War, Combat or Home Run. I wonder if the top and bottom flaps were sealed in any way.
-
Hi,
was the top of the 1978 releases sealed like for example Defender?
Andre

The auction looks fishy, I guess we will see it relisted.

I'm pretty sure it's indicating that the word "Pong" has a copyright of 1975. Although that's weird since words are usually trademarked.

I think you are right. Tank-Plus has a copyright for the Tank trademark from 1976.

Does anyone know the real release date, so that AtariMania can be corrected?

How is it possible, that Pong Sports has a copyright from 1975?
