  1. I noticed lately that, when you open a case, PayPal takes the funds from the seller and then does nothing for weeks and months. PayPal now allows themself 3 weeks for a decision but after 3 weeks I just get an email "we are sorry, we need longer". Last time it took them 3 months (!) to refund my payment.

So it seems to me it is now policy at PayPal to just keep the money for as long as possible.

  2. If you still want to have this box, please send me only money order for $65.00. I will hear from you soon. I do need money. I would be happy to send the box shipping on this week as soon I got your mail - money order.

Good luck, but I don't think anyone is going to send you $65 for a box.

  3. FG 1001 Karate

    FG 1002 Spiderdroid

    FG 1003 Task Force

    FG 1007 Cruise Missile

    FG 1008 Sea Hawk

    FG 1009 Sea Hunt

Which games were 1004, 1005, 1006 going to be? What are the product codes of Water Ski and Tank Commander?

If nobody else bids and I do, I can have this empty, taped-up box for the mere sum of $63.76! Please, nobody else bid!

My Stacy4 has a bigger harddrive than anyone elses, so it's MY box.

  5. Hi,

I have one sealed copy of each game for sale. I'm not sure what current market prices are, as I've not seen these sealed on eBay. I'll post pictures tomorrow.

    Andre

P.S.: I've also two more copies of World Cup Soccer which are sealed but with damaged boxes. Games are in North Carolina.

P.P.S.: Games will only be sold to collectors, not resellers.

  6. Unbelievably he turned down my offer of $157.75! Anyone else want to take a shot with a realistic bid? Seriously though, maybe $250-300 at full price for these CIB? They're not even sealed which might get you to $400. Ridiculous.

I first thought they are sealed and there must be an unbelieveble rare game. When I looked at the six games I summed up the value and also came to a total of $300-400. Then I've read the text and figured out they are not even sealed. CIB I wouldn't even pay $150.

  7. I am sure that the rom will be released eventually. Unclear on when, but I will let the owner decide to work that one out. I have had some video issues so hopefully I can showcase this tonight or tomorrow.

Would be nice if the ROM would be released and then a reproduction made with a new box here on AA.

  8. As a collector you can't foresee the market. You have two options, buy it or hope to get the item in the same condition cheaper anytime soon. It can happen that the same seller lists an other 10 consoles and the price drops to $100, or it can happen that you have to wait 2 years for the next chance and then have to pay $500.

In this case I've decided to buy it and I haven't regretted the decision so far.

Overall I think the Astrocade for whatever reason didn't get a lot of attention back then and also not today. I truly can not understand why some SNES games sell for $2,000 (eBay Auction -- Item Number: 3207348912571?ff3=2&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&item=320734891257&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]) but a console like the Astrocade doesn't get much love.
