Here is the bid history of the Spiker that sold 3 1/2 years ago for $1826. The interesting aspect is that none of the bidders are still bidding on video games. Day fly collectors or speculators?

What has the seller done in the past, should I black list him?
Buying up all Odyssey to get a monopoly and single-handedly dictate the prices.
-
Not sure how rare these are, but two of these are gatefold.
Condition sucks.
Seller sucks.
-
Hi, would you also do 2600 boxes? Thanks
-

My to-do list is already much longer than my remaining life time.

First dibs on your collection

-
There will never be a definite list for any system. This is cmarts list, if you want to make one for yourself that's fine.
Some collect the Sears releases, some not. Some want the Mattel release, others the Intellivision Inc. Some collect homebrews, others not. Some collect international releases, others not.
I collect all the European releases but not the Digiplay or Bandai. Others spend $100 for a Digiplay release but don't care about the European releases.
Collect what you want and stop taking such a list too serious.

According to this listing Blix is on the current Flashback. Can anyone confirm this?
-
So Blix is not on the new Flashback? Do they plan to release on the next version?
-
As soon as the ROM has been dumped everyone can make his own cartridge. All you need is a Mattel cartridge and an EPROM. Costs $1.80 and 2 minutes.
-
So shitty homebrews for $75 are ok, but when At Games licenses a game and sells it together with their Flashback for less that's not ok?

Anyone going for the Yogi's Frustration?

No. Poor condition for a homebrew.
-
I guess the sellers want to make you believe you can make a bargain because they don't know much about the item.
-
I wonder what a guy in his midlife crisis would have posted about his Action Comics #1 in 1969...
-
Didn't we just have this topic a few days ago? Are you guys in your mid life crisis or depressed? The world is so bad... we will all die... no one will care about Atari games anymore...
-
You are selling a $20 game for $200 ? interesting.
To be fair a sealed BMX is worth more than $20, but not $200.
-
What difference does it make? It's too expensive for a PAL version.

Too many time wasters. Same pattern every time, someone just registers to gauge interest for games he may or may not have but never follows up. And after everyones time was wasted 3 times the game is posted with a ridiculous price and a "I do not need to sell".
Guess those sellers do not understand that after they annoyed every interested collector there is no one left to buy the game.

I use NES protectors and the inlays from Marc for my lose cartridges. The NES protectors have exactly the size of 2600 boxes. The inlays work great for all cartridges except V-cases.
-
You posted the games first time in March, then you disappeared till May, then you came back in July and disappeared till September. No one needs a seller who is "gauging interest" every 2 months and never follows up.
-
Totally unreliable seller. Keeps disappearing since 6 months. I wouldn't send a single Dollar towards him.
-
Oh man, given my Mathematics degree and collector obsessiveness, you have no idea what a cruel torture you may have condemned me to.

-
You may want to write down the release dates and then you'll see a pattern and the future.
-
You can also use Visual Basic, but that requires the Win2600 kernel.
