The Intellivision Is towards the bottom of my fav system list but I still do play games on it and enjoy the Intellivisions podcast immensely, destroying/binning retro stuff is best left to UK charity shops :-/

New Pacman on A2600 by DINTAR816 (Arcade) Astro Blaster, Salamander 2 (Vectrex) Berzerk, (Atari ST) Buggy Boy (Acorn-BBC) Jetset Willy (Nes) Ninja Gaiden , Strider (Megadrive) Altered Beast , Space Harrier II

Just tried it out and it plays real good , as already said the sound is very impressive too.

Overrated - KOBOOM!, Under - E.T , Riddle Of The Sphinx I have said this somewhere before maybe on another thread but I believe Riddle Of The Sphinx along with Raiders Of The Lost ark where rejected by many people back then who saw them as over complex in an era of single joystick single button, in fact accessing menus using other switches or using second joysticks was ahead of its time and showed the inginuity of the game designers as they battled against the restrictions of the technology of the time.

Turrican is okay on Megadrive ,nowhere near as polished as on the Amiga but acceptable. Mega Turrican is pretty Awesome though in comparison, another option is to take a look at Universal Soldier Instead (Turrican 2 clone) especially level 2 onwards.

LOL guys ,Coleco DK was poor to make their own look better but is it worse than Horse Racing and Sub Hunt?

I have it on my phone to listen too , Q-bert is far from my top game on any system but should be interesting to listen too all the same

I can only really echo what has already been said but there may be a few others in this list - SHMUP Flying Shark Atomic Robokid Plutos Xenon II-Megablast PLATFORM New Zealand Story Black Tiger Turrican I/2 Flood Nebulus Gods Potsworth & Co Carvup Torvak The Warrior Rodland RACING Buggy Boy Super Cars II Hard Drivin 2 Super Sprint Lotus turbo challenge I/II Stunt Car Racer There are more but that is all I can think off at the moment.

I like this ,polls are much better than just asking the question as the polls are easier to look at and digest than scrolling through 50 pages of peoples responses any way here I go with my votes which will not be 25 that is for sure lol.

I guess they all have their good and bad points/games but thinking very carefully today I still find it difficult to part the Snes and Megadrive, I do have more good gaming memories of the MD I guess so - Atari 2600 Megadrive Snes Master System PS1 Pc Engine

ROTS is In my top 5 Atari 2600 games ,absolutely loved it. I think it is massively underrated and like Raiders Of The Lost Ark at the time may of appeared too complex for people who were used to single button bashing, testament really to the genius of the programmers who were ahead of their time. I remember watching a school friend playing the game and messing about he decided to go down at the beginning to see what was there and that is how we both found the staff at the oasis , good memories.

Tutankham In Tut`s tomb dodging creature nests and collecting treasures, can only shoot left and right though which is not far from the truth if my sciatica is agitated lool. I don`t think I would have the energy to run around like the archaeologist in the game either.

Emulation just for convenience although I do have several 2600 Jr`s at hand including a somewhat battered Irish Atari one (with black horizontal band instead of silver),I use these to test my carts I purchase,etc.

Really?, I blamed Metroid Prime (re-spawning enamies..pffff!),never played Charlies Angels but looking on Youtube it does looks poor but really need to play it to be sure , even so I am quite confident I have played PS3,Xbox 360 and indie games worse than or as bad as Charlies though, that's why I mostly stick to retro games .

Wow thanks guys , sorry about that . I am not new to retro gaming,Atari Age or Atari as the A2600 has had a place in my heart for ever but I am new to the 5200 and 7800 ,I have not encountered many of those here in the UK and are stll learning about the pro`s and cons on these AA threads.

I fired up Dreadnaught factor after that podcast episode as well, great in depth interview too. It is real interesting hearing some of the background and stories connected to the industry.
