I think some people are selling Albert and Atari Age short here. Albert accepted one of my hacks. I think mainly because of some annoying persistance on my part. I think a lot of people think Albert and the AA staff are way to busy to publish other peoples hacks or homebrews. The questions is what games are worth reproducing. Well we know activision games are out of the question. I see a lot of hacked over activision titles out there. There have been a lot of fun ones produced lately and if you check in Atari Ages Store section there is a link that tells you if you want a cart produced then contact the AA staff via email. http://www.atariage.com/store/services.php AA does not look for you... remember you have to contact them. Packrat videogames offers the same service. You have to contact Packrat and his staff if you want your homebrews/hacks produced. Now on the other hand if someone is out there begging for hacks from non original authors and is trying to sell them, then your and you should find another forum to create hacks/homebrews and sell them on your own forum. Otherwise lets coexist, shutup and play on! . Just my two cents. Cheers all

Very nice...no offense taken....I wasn't too keen on sending out anymore carts if that type of shit that was going to happen everytime. Gets annoying after the third time around. My apologies. I have had some shitty days at work so I was looking forward to a good pic or two. Guess I got that and a good FU- ....I was so close to saying fark it to the whole thing. I thought man....if this doesnt get off the ground after 3 times and 5 months, then this isn't worth it. Cool thanks for the headsup. Guess I have some updates to do. How many want to CCR to continue?? Doesn't matter one way or another to me . From the start I mailed the original 01 Cart the Ed Siegler (he holds on to it through the holidays-cool!). Ed sends to Marco who never receives the cartridge. So we come up with the backup 01 and declare the original deceased. I send a backup one to MMF who is going to PC5. Unknown as to what actually happened to the second 01 cart. So is it fair from my standpoint to ask aloud is there a need to continue with this?? Should I just bury the whole project?? What would you do if everytime you sent a cart out, it went missing everytime? I don't care about the cost (this was supposed to be fun). I feel I misjudged this whole thing in assuming others whould share the excitement. I am glad Trotter got off the ground and is going strong. Any way cheers folks and if there is a reason to continue this please post away. If the joke is on me and it needs to be buried then post away!

Update: CCR is put on hold till further notice (backup 01s). Anyway this is the photo (from Mrs MMF) from PC5- .....another one bites the dust. I won't be posting any updates soon. Is there a future for the CCR?? Don't know. (its not dead-I just dont feel theres a need for it at the moment) Cheers

Nice pic! The Combat Cannonball run is still on hold. The backup 01s are training and are working towards a new goal. So for now: stay tuned. @Mr & Mrs MMF: don't worry about the cart, its been declared deceased. Again, I'm SO sorry this happened! Please accept my apologies!

Heres an update that I didn't want to post: Oh well. I am not sure who the next backup 01 is going to visit. So one 01 has died in Europe and the other has been kidnapped and declared deceased here in the US. Guess I will wait before sending the next 01 out. The next 01 has decided to morn his brothers death and take time away before traveling so soon. More to come I am sure but not anytime soon. So the CCR will sleep and rest up a while. That's a funny story, actually....There was this vendor at the con called Yakmala. They were selling these really cool compacts and billfolds for girls that were made out of Atari cartridges. We thought Ed was gonna be at the show, so we took the 01 Combat cartridge with us so we could give it to him. As you can see from my previous post, he was not there. Yakmala came to the AA table to tell us about their stuff, and said they could give us a demonstration on how they are made. We said, "Hey dude, that's totally awesome! We'll have to check that out!" Later on, we looked for the cart, but it was nowhere to be found. We can only assume that the Yakmala people (those bastards) must have grabbed the 01 Combat cart - thinking it was one of Albert's for recycling. We're really sorry!

You can post screen shots. While Z26 is running, hit your print screen button. Then open microsoft photo editor, go to edit, paste and then crop your screen shot. Save the file as the name of your hack in .jpg or .gif format. Walla! Screenshot! Cheers
