  1. Atari Anthology isn't even out, unless the release dates on EBWorld and IGN are wrong. You found it for 5 dollars? Was it the Xbox version? I don't see why they'd be selling a brand new game that comes out this month for 5 dollars.
  2. "Not available for over a decade? At no point during that time has it been even remotely difficult for someone to find a real NES/Famicom. . . " They were still available in stores and catalogs like JCPenney's 1994 Christmas catalog. I assume that means they were widely available into 1995. Hasn't been over a decade yet, not that it matters.
  3. Could you link me to where you got that information (Assuming its a website)? I did a search, but just was coming across stuff about importing it.
  4. How do I get access to these games, the bonus disc or the actual game? Only interested in the three arcade games, but I'm not sure what to look for.
  5. "Better yet... wire in an AC adapter and use an outlet near where you're sitting. " Wouldn't that defeat the purpose?
  6. Chickybaby, read the title of the thread.
  7. To add new designs to the levels and such?
  8. 50 dollars? About a week ago I sent a PC steering wheel/pedal set from NY to Calilfornia weighiing 18 pounds for less than 20 bucks via UPS. Is this overnight shipping or something? I'm interested, though I bet you'll have it sold before I have the money in a week or so.
  9. Doesn't even need the brakes. I never needed to brake in OutRun. Using the gear shifter (just high and low) and lifting off the gas was enough to make any turn. Was hoping to see things similar in this game.
  10. "One thing that Midway improved on over the original Midway Arcade Treasure is that the control is greatly improved. On the first game, Paperboy, Marble Maddness, Roadblasters and a few others all controlled like crap and didn't support analog, which is very important when emulating games that have a special controller. Midway Arcade Teasures 2 seems to support analog, so driving games such as Hard Drivin' are playable. " What do you mean? They do on the Game Cube version for me.
  11. Even though I like it, I wish they hadn't included power sliding, and made it more like the original. Despite being arcade game, its still stupid to be able to powerslide around corners on pavement. It has its place in rally games and dirt track oval games, but its stupid here. Wish Ridge Racer had never existed.
  12. Raiders of the Lost Ark and Riddle of the Sphinx do? No wonder I never understood them, guess I should try reading instructions.
  13. Some Sega Ages news for any of you that may be interested. http://ps2.ign.com/articles/556/556330p1.html
  14. "Actually, figgler, it goes like this: anyone who is under 10 years old and/or has an IQ under 75 will buy the DS. Anyone else will buy the PSP. " How long have you had your DS system preordered?
  15. Sounds like Xbox definately got the best version. "As good as the emulation, it's definitely not perfect. Whether it's from programming goof, lack of development time, or simply not enough horsepower in the system, there are some quirks in the emulation that keep the games from being 100% accurate to the original title. You'll notice little things mysteriously vanishing shadows in MK2 and MK3 for example. On the PlayStation 2, two games in particular have serious problems. Pit-Fighter actually runs at double the speed of the original game, making it next to impossible to successfully win the matches. And in Hard Drivin', the game actually seems to have a problem when players beat the lap time and enter the Phantom Photon challenge; the game actually runs much slower in this mode, which affects the vehicle's handling during the race"
  16. "I thought it wasnt going to be exactly like GTA 3, but the same era/general level layout...different missions and dudes. Although I could be wrong..." That's correct.
  17. They've all already seen GBA ports. Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 1-3, Super Mario World, and Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island.
  18. That should say "Most you'd get is a cease and desist letter, in my opinion". Or something to that effect, being sued is possible, but not likely. Waste of their money and time when a simple letter is enough to get most anyone to stop.
  19. Most you'd get is a cease and desist letter, he's just paranoid because of what Infogrames has done lately in my opinion. I'd keep at it unless you heard something from Nintendo.

    i'm dumb...

Radio Shack should have it in stock, at least they would've a couple years ago. I've heard they've changed a lot though in the past few years.

You need either a TV/Game switchbox or a Coaxial (F-Type) to Female RCA Adapter. Here's the best, and cheapest way to do it. http://www.atariage.com/store/product_info...&products_id=42
