  3. Tonight I picked up: Kirby's dream land 1 & 2 for game boy, 1.99 each And a Pioneer PD-M60 6-cd player for 9.99, works perfect, just finished ordering the 6 cd carousel for it off ebay! http://www.electronicdiscountsales.com/shop/module.php?module=show_product&id=1310164215
  4. not video games, but an amplifier, with a cassette deck and a am/fm radio, all for 9.99 works perfect
  5. Best: Vectrex, built in controller (sort of), and video screen. very cool looking system Worst: First version of snes that had the oxidizing plastic problem, looked like someone lit it on fire or spilled cola all over it.
  6. Ok thanks, I have a few white labels, but none I am planning on getting rid of
  7. I am looking to sell off or trade some of my doubles. I noticed that some were made in Hong Kong and some in the US. Is any of the carts worth more than others? The Hong Kong carts have triangular screws, and the US carts have phillips head screws. I also noticed that there was 2 carts that had no screws. Am I better off keeping the US carts over the Hong Kong ones?
  8. Bought an Atari 5200 and a Sears Video Arcade ( sears version of intellivision) off another collector who was selling off some stuff The 5200, the worst thing is someone left the protective plastic on the metal part and now its stuck to it A few 5200 boxes, Pole Position has the manual 5200 games Sears Intellivision also came with the voice module, and clip on joy sticks for the controllers Some Intellivision games there is about 20 not pictured Here is a few Intellivision CIB games Does anyone know how accurate this site is, it lists Tower of Doom at 75% http://www.rarityguide.com/intellivision_view.php?SortDirection=desc&SortField=5&recordsPerPage=20
  9. Haven't updated in a while, I have picked up a pile of new systems and some non related game things. Here is a vectrex I bought off the local classifieds Game Gear I also bought off the local classifieds. Came with a carrying case A Intelly II I bought off another collector broken, needs to be fixed (Bought it mostly for all the games he sold with it) Original Game Boy I picked up for free Colecovision expansion module I bought from the same fella that sold me the C64 Picked up more of those Atari organizing shelves Shelf I got at my part time job (they were going to throw it away), fits SMS games very well I also bought a Beta Player with a collection of movies, and a Laser disc/ cd video player (Previous owner said it was never used) A surround sound system (on top of the ancient cd and cassette players) that I picked up for free on the side of the road, it had no speakers, only the woofer. I am after finding the proper speakers for it, and it works perfect.
  10. anyone know of any free software for mac that burns any file to dvd format, that will work on any dvd player?

  11. Anyone know of any Pink Floyd concerts with all 4 members in it?

  12. cool, I have 2. I found out that my parts player works fine it is just a wire broken on the stylus in combination with a bad coaxial output port. You wouldn't happen to have any spare stylus' you want to sell?

Wow, those are quite rare anymore. You may have an easier time finding a reproducer for an Edison Diamond Disc crank phonograph..lol. Do you have a UK-PAL player? I have Selectavision SGT-250 & VJT400, with standard RCA Stereo styli. If you have an original Hitachi stylus, your best bet is to get in contact with the folks at CEDatum.net. They offer a Cartridge Rebuild Service to refurbish the Hitachis and others, as well as tech support! I need to contact them myself about fixing my c...

ok thanks for the info, I have one working machine with a good stylus, but could also get my parts machine working as well with a stylus

  14. A few things I recently purchased off the local classifieds. Commodore 64 with vinyl cover Commodore 64 user guide and disc drive manual that I don't own lol Old video game magazine that the fella threw in, talks alot about the Vertex Super action controllers that the fella moded with colecovision controllers. The sticks are from an old table top game. The controllers actually work very well. Colecovision expansion module #1 with original box, manual and styrofoam.
  15. Picked up a C64 today with a dust cover Also picked up some more CED's and another player (not working) for spare parts
  16. LED comes on and I am using the same cables and adaptor for coaxial as my other systems. Is there some command I should enter? EDIT: I just took the machine apart and checked for anything bad or for shorts in the rf output. everything seemed fine. put it back together and just turned it on and the blue screen appeared! must have been a loose connection.
  17. Thanks for the replies. The fella wanted way too much for it and it never came with anything. My patience finally paid off and I found one today with a power supply and suncom vinyl cover so I picked it up. I am brand new to vintage computers and was wondering do I need an external drive or game to run it?, when I turn it on nothing happens to my tv screen.

  22. I have found a C64 without a power supply, and is not tested so I can get it for cheap. I was wondering how hard are the power supplies to come across, I have only seen one on ebay.ca for $45 plus shipping . I know they are different but could I make one out of an old power supply I have? Any help is appreciated.
  23. sonic 2, that stage with the purple water that rises up.
