  1. Wow, that's a much better and comprehensive list then any of the others out there. Thanks for sharing that.
  2. No. It's one drive with two partitions. Typical of laptops. Go to control panel, administrative tools, computer management, disk management and look there.
  3. No. Winn has nothing to do with Cap'n Crunch that I'm aware of. Cap'n Crunch is John Draper. The really funny thing about it all is that he isn't even the one that discovered the whistle trick, that was his friend Joe (Joybubbles) Engressia.
  4. Yes, we know, you said that before. What you haven't explained is what exactly it is you want. Emulators that run on a PS2 or a PS2 emulator? I'm going to assume the latter. Googling "ps2 emulator" reveals few options. http://www.pcsx2.net/downloads.php. http://nsx2.emulation64.com/index2.html
  5. Eh, there is no 2600 baud. The magazine is named in honor of telephone hacking/phreaking. 2600, as discovered via Capt'n Crunch whistles, was the hertz tone that used to be used by the phone companies to gain operator access to the long distance trunk lines.
  6. If you haven't played it, then how can you say those scene's aren't from it? Yes, I have. Quite a bit. The 360's staggered analog sticks do it no justice. You are correct, those scenes are in BK. But keep in mind that BK did copy many enviorments (some almost verbatim) from WLK.
  7. From Doomsday Arcade, Episode 8, as they are entering the underground lair of the GFYA bunker: Michael: Well, looks like they're busy trolling forums. Troller1: Star Trek's better than Star Wars. Troller2: Luigi is better than Mario. Troller3: Mario is better than Luigi. Troller4 <screaming>: Oblivion is better than God! So there's your answer. Oblivion, it's better then God.
  8. Wasn't Night Trap a Sega game? So once again, Sega. Yes, he said that. The point was Nintendio lying about what Night Trap was about to damage Sega's reputation.
  9. This thread got me to turn my PS2 on again, something I haven't done in over a year. It's funny how the game keeps track of dates and gives amusing little dialogues relating to how long I've been gone and stuff. What exactly makes you say its not Beautiful Katamari? Have you played "We Love Katamari"? Pretty much all those scenes were in WLK and some reminded me of "Katamari Damacy" The scenes towards the end reminded me very much of KD even more. Only thing I saw that screamed "Beautiful Katamari" was around 30-45 seconds when it was rolling up the earth and in space. Off the top of my head the race car one from WLK and Make a Star #4 from KD come to mind.
  10. Nope. Could never happen. Already have 3 systems on the market that pretty much do it all (all that is capable right now). So there is no real market left for it. Unless it did something really radical which would probably be expencive and/or go over people's heads by being ahead of it's time. World economy is in the toilet, so it's not a good time to try, even if he had some good ideas. Companies like MS & Sony can afford to bleed money since they both have other divisions that make up the bulk of their profiles. They are willing and able to lose money just for the sake of market share. Nintendo is the weakest of the 3, but they are still a VERY big company with a long history and all the money they need to make a whole hearted effort in to anything/everything they do. That and they always balanced their production costs vs profit well. I doubt Nolan could ever front the money needed to get serious investments and compete in today's market place. Especially with uWink NOT being the next Pong/Atari/Suck-e-Cheese success. I don't see any new system going back to being cartridge based either. Silicon storage isn't cheap. With the size of games today, it would be cost prohibitive to go that route. There would need to be some major advances here to improve the $/GB ratio first before it would be practical. It's a nice dream, but alas, it's only a dream.
  11. Wow. That I never knew. I always thought they went from calculators to computers. Learn something new every day. This thread actually has me wondering where my CBM calc is. I have one of these (somewhere): I modified mine a bit. Installed a 9v battery snap in the battery holder, which "was" 3 AA's, and installed a regulator on the main board after the switch.
  12. Nintendo Seal Of Quality? Doh! - How did I ever forget that.
  13. What a scary thought. I hope it's math was better then what they put in their computers.
  14. Does it have to be limited to that, or can it be any lie regarding their products. Such as product saftey or reliability? Oh, there are so many..... Sega: Blast processing Atari: 64 bits Microsoft: This replacement power cord will fix everything. Microsoft: The failure rate is within normal rates for the industry. Nintendo: ..... Hmm, did Nintendo ever make outlandish claims?
  15. Now there is going to be a flood of people buying cartridges on eBay.
  16. Yes, many emulators do infact support light guns. You are correct, sir. Some can emulate light gun with a mouse and some can actually use PC light guns. This also applies to console based emulation. Some emulators on the Xbox for example support Xbox light guns. As a matter of fact was just playing a little Duck Hunt with my MadCats (yuck) Blaster.
  17. Darn exclusive. Guess I'm going to have to get a PS3 now.
  18. http://www.zektor.com/zvg/index.html Even supports oscilloscopes. Mame on an oscilloscopes, that would be interesting.
  19. Come on, we all know they are common and only worth 50 cents each.
  20. I love the idea that you "didn't get anything" for your trouble... except, of course, what you purchased Beyond that, why waste even a single second of your life stewing about not getting a pat on the back from a complete stranger on the internet? You want something someone is selling, you given them money for it, they give you what it is you wanted. Don't understand why everyone needs/wants/deserves a freaking medal over it. Hey, I just bought gas, Jose deserves a shiny gold star for pushing a button and turning the pump on after I gave him my money and he owes me a shiny gold star too for ... for ... I guess for taking my money so I could buy what I needed and pumping it into my car. What, wait a minute; He's not running out here to give me a kiss or atleast a hearty handshake after I'm done? That damned son of a bitch! People really need to stop putting so much effort and value on something that is, in fact, purely optional.
  21. YES!! But only if it has some staircase levels in it!
  22. I see the debate still ignores that one is still actively supported to this very day and one was terminated 7 years ago. What is it that they call people that keep blindly making the same point over and over and over and over and over, expecting a different result each time......
  23. Yup, it's just the way Mass Effect is. Even in SD.
  24. Where's the mole? But seriously, since you re-did the eyes and made them bigger, the scale isn't an issue now, so where's the mole?
