  1. I know that pinout. I had it on screen when I traced the routes with my multimeter. but I'm a bit confused. I checked pinouts of eeproms and they were talking about vcc, vss and vpp which pins are these on the prom of my pacman cart? also...the a12 is on the prom, but there is no inverter ic on there..
  2. can anyone correct me if i'm wrong? I just took a multimeter and measured what pins go to what line, and this is my outcome: 1> a7 2> a6 3> a5 4> a4 5> a3 6> a2 7> a1 8> a0 9> d0 10> d1 11> d2 12> GND 13> d3 14> d4 15> d5 16> d6 17> d7 18> a11 19> a10 20> a12 21> +5V (huh?!) 22> a9 23> a8 24> +5V So I have 2 pins of the rom connected to 5v...is that wrong, or is this for a reason or was I sleeping?
  3. can anyone hand me out the 100% right prom pinout?
  4. hehe ok I was wondering...could anyone make me a scematic where my 27256 rom is being used with the other inverter thingie and maybe some dipswitches so a multicart can be made? I mean like this guy: http://www.thehopelesshobbyist.com/games/atari-2600-32-in-1-game-cartridge
  5. hmm bit hard....since I can't get the parts atm (money AND hard to find in holland,, at least the part where I live) I think I might contact that albert dude. does he happen to have a website?
  6. in that way I could create a multicart, can't I
  7. Hey dudes. Yesterday I got my atari 2600 from the attic, to come to a conclusion my PACMAN cart is busted. No matter how I clean, check solder connections and so on....it's not working. So I think the roms is broken. Pacman is a 4k game, right? Now if I want to put an eeprom in there containing some other game or games....what are the things I must do? Also another quaestion rising up...the roms on 2600 carts are 26 pin. I have an eeprom 27256 (32k) with 28 pins and some different address lines. Is it possible to use that one in the cart?
