  1. Fine, I'll get the hammer. Turns out that you can't use soldering irons with trinitromethylbenzene (sp?) anymore.
  2. It's "this fucking thing." That's what it is. Also, it's the only item not to appear in a Nerd episode but referenced to (without any info). Future episode, maybe? But, in all honesty... I have no fucking clue.
  3. I found... nothing, again. Jeez, I really need a job- missed out on a R8 and a R5 together with 6 other games and the NES needed to start my NES collection for 90$.
  4. Gamecube Keyboard sure sold out fast. Dreamcast keyboards are still hot afaik. Wii keyboards are popular, even more with a DOS emulator which requires it!
  5. Well, no duh. It's like a Barbie doll! (It referring to Justin Beiber as a person)
  6. Well, we got Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde! Oh, wait- bad idea. Uh... S.T.A.L.K.E.R? No, that was barely based off the book. Uh... aw, god... Agatha Cris-- no, those games sucked. Hm... what about Metro 2033? Nah, I'll get it in 2033. Harry Potter? Nope, only the third one for GBA was really good. How about Twiligh-- BLARGH! Bleh, threw up on my keyboard. HATE IT. Night Wat-- nope, crappy game. You know what? All the games off the top of my head based off of books are bad.
  7. Going to a flea market soon- same one where I bought a broken Pokemon game (crashes a lot) about three years ago. Any tips?

    Making NES carts?

PowerPak > More than my budget (which probably means I should get a job) I'll try contacting Bunnyboy, see what both of us can get out of it.

    Making NES carts?

Oh, you know- timeless classics such as Warehourse 18, Super Mario (fan-translation), and, most importantly, some stupid driving game which isn't even a game! I want to try doing a review on it, but Dendy games are hard to find. If I even find one that works, lol.

    Making NES carts?

No, they don't have to be rewritable. I just want to know how can I make my own NES cartridges, so I can play a few games that were never released on any readable media system that you can easily find. (Looked through several auction sites, no luck)
  11. Cave Story, but it's free. It was remade by Nicalis, so the Wii and DS versions aren't indie, but PC is. Just throw it in.
  12. Then the 80s was crazy. Do aliens even have communism?

Is it that hard to get me down? Honestly, everything that the posters above me said.
  14. You need to make 1000 posts in one day to get a good rep there? I came here, a n00b to Atari (I don't own an Atari anything, other than a few games) and everyone was nice! Heck, I even have 8 rep! I now know that NintendoAge is like most other forums. Crap.
  15. Can I have your serial number, Wii color, date of purchase, and last time sent to Nintendo? From those four pieces of information, I can tell if it can read DVDs or not without getting to your system and finding out the hard way.
  16. It's "classic" because it was the following- A) Discontinued B) Last game was 8 years ago (Tony Hawk's Skater something 3) C) It was very popular D) It was the first 64-bit console. Db) That did it right. XD E) Well, it was good. F) Classic Games G) On Virtual Console H) Read E. It's not "retro" and it won't be for a few years. It's in between modern and retro, classic.
  17. XBox 360 is better than Wii, but Wii is far better than XBox. I mean, the Wii is so simple to mod! It can play 2600 games! (Well, so can my DS)
  18. They were destroyed before I was born! It was after Soviet rule, so I had to grow up with DOS running FAR Manager as OS... somehow.
  19. I want a box full of shit... ty games. It would give me something to review.
  20. SNES: The Legend of Zelda- A Link to the Past - 40 minutes NES: Punch-Out !! - 30 minutes Milon's Secret Castle - 15 minutes Castlevania - 10 minutes PC: The Neverhood (1994) - 1 hour That's all retro games I played in 2011, so far, but here's my non-eligible list- Wii: Goldeneye 007 - 4 hours Cave Story - 7 hours PC: Sid Meier's Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword - 6 hours (in a row) Sid Meier's Civilization V - 15 minutes Syobon Action 2 - 30 minutes
  21. I know about the Dendy (a console in the Soviet Union, had just as much success as the real systems) and there are Famiclones selling here, which are just region-free top-loading NES, SNES, and Genesis all in one.
  22. Heh, nice job! I've never used Indiana Pwns, just Smash Stack and Twilight Hack (back when Wiis could read "backup" DVDs) I can't answer number 1 (I use DVDs), so snippity it goes! No. SDHD cards are supported, but most homebrew don't work nicely with SDHD. I had my 1GB fill up, and switched to a 2GB. Try and backup your items and don't waste a lot of space. If they can't be read, there's some program called Unlocker, which will let them be read. If they're still not read, then they're broken. It is just a copy/paste thing. Also, send your backup into your laptop, you'll free about 600-800MB that way.
  23. DS Lite is a bit simpler to fix, it's usually because the spring in the L button screwed itself up. Carefully fix it (and don't mix screws up) and it'll work for a while. (Mine was fixed 2 months ago, I mixed screws up. Top screen is busted, but L and R work fine now)
