  1. Introduced my 10 year old to Utopia tonight . She loves it . Even my 14 year old likes it. I told her it was the first Sim game or to put it in her terms the first Tiny Tower game she plays on her I pod . I had forgot how much fun it is . Been 20 years since I have played it myself.

  2. Tower of Doom is an interesting blend of the strategic elements of Tarmin with the action of Cloudy Mountain. The live map that reveals the level as you explore is reminiscent of the first game. You pick up items and manage inventory as in Tarmin, and explore levels in the tower. Map-level encounters take you to the close-up combat phase, which is more dynamic than Tarmin, prettier than Cloudy Mountain, but more restrictive movement-wise than CM. You also start off as any of several different character classes. Though I haven't played in a long time, I do believe it's a really strong game, one of the best ones in the entire library,

I just started playing it. I love it and with many Characters it keeps it interesting. I started off as a Warlord with a ton of weapons and life . Last night I started as a Waif all they give you is a boot LOL I died quick .

  3. I am looking to buy Tower of Doom Instructions .

I don't even care if it is photo copied . I am playing game with my daughter .She likes reading it and telling me what stuff is.

I printed a copy of the instructions form some web site a couple of years ago but I don't have pictures in it Thanks Mark

NO! Obviously, I can't speak for Joe Z., but you have to understand that home-brew games released before Elektronite and the latest LTO titles, were small production runs, truly home-brewed, and paid out of pocket with very little profit.

As far as I know, 4-Tris was released in such a way a long time ago, and just a couple of hundred were made. Eventually, they ran out, and that was it.

To ask "why don't they make more" is the same as me asking you "why aren't you making games?" There's a million and one reasons why, but perhaps most significant is that, there's other things you could be doing. Keep in mind that there's very little money in this enterprise, and even Elektronite has to ensure top-seller titles in order to stay ahead.

The truth of the matter is that game production is expensive, especially when it's released as complete-in-box, and mostly a labor of love. That said, I believe LTO was planning another run of Space Patrol and 4-Tris, but I don't know what's happening on that front. I do know that it takes time, effort, and money, to produce a game, so it's best to be patient.

Thanks For the Info. obviously I have no clue. I just thought once the game was made that a lot of the cost was in developing game and if you made more you could recoup more of the costs . Thanks Again Mark
