I love that the younger generation loves Intellivision too . My brother and I still play with his two kids who are 31 and 32 they love it too . -
I bought my first Intellivision in 1981 . I was 17 Working my first real Job ,bought it will my own money, 239 bucks I think. Also bought two games Triple Action and Boxing. I think I was older then most when I got into it . I moved out of my house in 1982 with a roommate and we were always playing Intellivision after work and on weekends with a house full of people . So I always liked the two player games ,like baseball or hockey,Biplanes, or even Skiing where you could have up to 6 people play . Was a lot of fun and my Intellivision held up well to the abuse LOL a lot of beer was flowing in those days plus other party favors of the era LOL. We even had a small store that was renting out Intellivision carts, I loved that so I could check it out before I bought it . I stopped playing for a while till I went to a Liquor store to buy some beer [ There is that Beer again I am seeing a trend here] and they had a stack of INTV catalogs. and I got the fever again. I know I bought Comando ,Super Mountain Madness Sking ,Thin Ice ,I think Tower of Doom. Oh why didn't I buy Spiker

It is hard to believe I have been playing Intellivision for 30 + years . But I am glad I am passing on the system to the next generation I gave both of my nephews a system and some cartridges they both love it, they grew up seeing me and their dad playing all night lol . Now I passed it on to my 9 year old daughter . Who loves Dungens and dragons Treasure of tarmine ,Night Stalker.Snafu,Comando, Frogbog, Beauty and the Beast and learning more every week. My oldest daughter still likes her Wii but i am trying to convert her LOL.

D- for Triple Action I think not! Biplanes is one of my all time favorite games and a C+ for baseball is way low

For me the best of the bunch is Space Patrol. I think it's flat out one of the best Intellivision games period. You'll likely have to pay $125-150 to get one at auction though. There may be a Super Space Patrol released at some point, but I'm not sure around time frame. That said, 2011 may see 5 or 6 games released if we're lucky, including Donkey Kong Arcade. Thanks Cmart i was thinking about space patrol i will have to look in to it

I stole this from facebook but I thought it fitting R.I.P. Jack LaLanne, who worked with Mattel Electronics to create a physical fitness program for the Intellivision keyboard component. LaLanne was always looking for innovative ways to bring fitness into people's homes, and computers were a logical step. The program is seen briefly in this clip from 1980. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nYdYL_DPrrs

Intellivision Ebay Roundup

he gives only a one sentence description on his intellivision t carts. talk about lazy. his games can rot for all i care. everything is overpriced. This may be a dumb question but what it a T cart ? Some kind of developer cart in the shape of a T for the intellivision. pretty rare. take a look: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 290526906852 he gives only a one sentence description on his intellivision t carts. talk about lazy. his games can rot for all i care. everything is overpriced. This may be a dumb question but what it a T cart ? Normally means a prototype, they made those in the lab to test the games.. apparently that format was better for that. Thanks for the info . He could tell more about it like if it works and what games it plays for 1200 bucks he can keep it lol
