Nobody even bid on the Body Slam, I thought $69.99 was a good deal. I guess people would rather pay $200 for one of those over priced ones.

I saw those Commandos I was hoping you were one of the bidders thought it was a good price

  2. My 9 year old isn't so much into my retro consoles. I think we found his sweet spot, around the Genesis and SNES. However, when I pull out the old stuff, he'll play with me some. So far he's kicking my butt at the Inty. His reflexes are so much better than mine. He seems to have the disc control down pretty well, unlike his Dad who can't seem to figure out which way is up and down.

I know what you mean about the hand eye coordination My 11 year old can whip my butt on the Wii IT is hell to get old!

  3. Huh. Well this ought to be interesting.

eBay Auction -- Item Number: 1106321234351?ff3=2&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&item=110632123435&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]

it would be nice to have something like this. but i have to draw the line somewhere. i will stick to the regular consoles and games.

I draw the line at 100 bucks per Item or auction, or my wife does :)

mmm, I guess she do the same when shopping for bags or shoes? ;) that is marriage... ;-)

yes it is and my wife isnt to bad at that i am probably worse lol I do like my toys!!

  4. Someone stop this guy, he's blinding me with ridiculous prices.

    eBay Seller: isellgames4u1?ff3=10&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]

Hmmm. I've bought lots of games off of him in the past, including my Aquarius set up back in the summer and all for some pretty great prices, but there seem to be a few ridiculous prices in this latest batch, although there is one auction I will certainly be bidding on, and a second I very likely will bid on.....icon_ponder.gif icon_shades.gif

Ya i was looking alot of nice games but to rich for my blood .good luck!!

Let me correct myself, I will be bidding on at least 5 or 6 of these auctions. Seriously, this is the best batch of stuff for auction at the same time in a long long time.icon_lust.gif

  5. Here is some pictures of my intellivision collection:

    WOW! :lust:

BTW, I saw you have two Activision games I never heard about: "League of Light" and "Robot Rubble"... were these actually commercialized (where? when?) or are prototypes? I'm quite curious... ;)

ya i saw those two and was wondering if those were Intellivision games?

  6. Just back from my nephews house was a great time we had two TVS going and two Intellivisions playing, Biplanes, Commando and Baseball what a great time! Took me back 25 years + . We had some Epic battles of Biplanes 4 games ended 15 to 14 you have to love that . That is one of the things I love about Intellivision it takes be back to my youth . We All made it threw the second wall but couldn't make it threw 3rd but a good time was had by all. Love the Intellivisionm party's. Was like a sobriety check point we kept doing worse the more we drank lol A GREAT NIGHT!

My oldest friend and I use to have Intv as kids. recently we have also a Biplanes battle, was really close, even he beat me at 16-14 (you can do that is you shoot the baloon) I beat him in tanks, he wipe the floor with me with basball, and in snafu we end up almost equal. I didn´t remember how to score in hockey..

I am seen a lot of games end up with the score of 16 to whatever .We were talking last night about how the balloon is such a great part of Biplanes it adds a lot to the game I have been shot many times going for it or crash because of it. Last night on one of the 15 to 14 games my nephew almost crashed right after he shot me and it would have been 15 to 15 I don't remember any game that I played ending in a tie or would it go on till someone got 16 i am not sure I may have to try that next time i play and see what happens

  7. how old are your nephews? just curious if they are the 'xbox' type of game players and what they think of these ancient games we love and play.

i like the newer games myself but still love old school games. your party actually reminded me of the halo 1 lan parties i used to have. :D

They are 28 and 29 they grew up watching their dad and I play many many nights of Intellivision and yes they play all the new games .One of my nephews was playing Call of duty or something like that last night on the PC I am amazed sometimes they still like the Intellivision with all the graphics loaded games they play . But they do and so do a lot of their friends I gave my nephews a bunch of games but most were loose carts . he said a friend and him were playing Microsurgen and made threw the 1st round I told him he needs to read the instructions but he said they just play and figure it out he Also loves Thunder Castle,Wormwomper and many others it makes me happy that Intellivision will live on after I am gone .

Great way to start 2011. icon_smile.gif I was actually cleaning and testing a bunch of games myself tonight to send out to some fellow AA'ers and ended up playing a bunch of Lock'n'chase, Burgertime, Cloudy Mountain, Diner, and a few others and man I'd sort of forgotten how much I loved Lock'n'chase. icon_thumbsup.gif icon_mrgreen.gif

I need to play some game i haven't played in a while to remind myself how great they are

  10. Hmmm.

There ... doesn't seem to be anything there yet. I know that it's still new, so we'll have to wait and see what happens.

Frankly, though (and this not intended to discourage anyone's efforts), they're going to have a very hard time creating a community of the same quality and diversity as the one we enjoy here on AtariAge. It may be "an Atari forum," but I think this is the best place to be right now for the Intellivision community. However, having other places to meet Intellivision fans can only be a good thing, and I'll be eager to see what develops.

yeah, I feel like I can get it all right here, but I don't want to discourage anything new. And NintendoAge...what a mess. IMO.

nintendoage needs revised and updated i think too. AA is the best retro gaming forum/community.

I signed up the more Intellivision the better

  11. These may have been posted before? Not sure? Or some of you may have already seen them anyway. But here are some cool vids about the history of Intellivision.

This is mainly Keith promoting the Intellivision Lives collection for the PC back in 2001?

Both of these videos are finicky, sometimes they load and sometimes they don't.

  12. i love these kind of unscripted videos. it wasnt lousy!

all you need is a nice bookshelf to give your collection a nice home.

I kinda did the video off the cuff I should have prepared more lol . That is a good idea about the book shelf I do have one who needs books anyway lol . I need to treat my games better you should see my Triple Action cartage it was the first one I bought about thirty years ago one of my Great Danes got a hold of it about twenty five years a go and about chewed the end off but it still works lol
