what i need to have is:
Blank EEPROMS for 4k atari games

would it be cheaper than just ordering a bunch of carts from the atariage store with my game on it?

i am taking all broken or unwanted atari 2600 games. I wont pay for them, so if you are looking to sell games then dont even bother with this thread. by broken i mean not working and any label damage. if there are big gashes or your cart is completely torn to shreds then i wont accept. PM me if you are interested!

welcome to the club! haha and btw, i got my sound problems semi_figured out, not it has gameplay except no missile1 and the COLUPX goes away, and the sound is just a high ringing sound and it never stops
-
dang i was hoping it had to do with something with the flashing colors like
u=u+1 COLUP0 = u -
well theres a thing about the bB forums. i do figure things out on my own, but i do go to the forums if i have problems. and all i get is a .bas file and i either get compilation errors, or my game just freezes up and i spend hours tweaking with something that wont work. but i mean im not expecting many purchases, but i just need some money right now. but by the beginning of august ill have some good stuff on it. like sound effects, and an intro, and other stuff. im gonna try to do some bank switching where Desando Joe can only be on the top 3/4 or the to 2/3 and then another difficulty thats 1/2 the screen or 1/3 or something. itll be alot better once i get some help from RT on my sound problems.

i downloaded an atari rom pack, and i came acroos this in it, its called "Atari Point of Purchase" and it shows the atari logo and the colors are going upwards, and i was wondering how would i recreate this? it'll be a cool effect to have in a game. here's the .bin:

i would start out becoming fluent in BAtari BASIC and then Reading ATARI ROOTS on atariarchives.org and learning 6502 assembly language. (Language that they programmed Atari 2600,5200,7800, NES C64, Apple ][, and other computers with) I've almost spent a year with bB and i am almost completely Fluent. But i'm no Random Terrain at bB. but i wrote my first game within a week and it wasnt even 100 lines long, so i seeked help, tried new things in my code, and a game emerged from it. Learning languages like this can take 1+ years, and the road is long, but if you put effort, it is possible.
-
well this is the first game i made im just trying to make a few extra bucks, im not trying to sell a bunch, I'm not expecting many sales of it, i thought id just put it out there and try to make some money from it.

Joe Desantis, a young boy, was with his father at the vic firth factory where they make vic firth drumsticks. he fell into a bin of unfinished sticks, and his DNA was combined from the drumsticks DNA and he was turned into... DESANDO JOE!!
His Arch Nemesis, Clarineto McKelvey wants his fame, his place, so he is out to kill Desando Joe.
In the game, Desando Joe must fight off the evil Clarineto McKelvey and Save the world from total destruction.
the game is currently at its basic stages, even though this is the 2.0 version of the game, i have decided to sell the rom for $5 and when the store comes back up i'll sell carts for $30+S&H ($25 for the cart to put the game on and $5 for the game)
paypal only!
once you have payed, email me and ill send you the ROM.
updates are free too!
you can go to the webstore on http://webs.esplonky.com to purchase ot click the link below!

I am looking for an Atari 2600 Heavy/light sixer, 4-switch, or vader console. not an Atari jr, or sears telegames. 5-10 games, and two joystick controllers as well, and I will pay $30-$40 for it.
If you would like to sell, Please send me a message. and please do not go past 40. my dad wont pay anything above 40 for an atari
EDIT:
I have an atari now! yay! but im looking for games and accessories! go to my last post for more info!

it's gonna be a lot better, and the december 2012 thing wsa put in there as a "joke" and i used this poster as a final product in my graphic design class at school, and the teacher is some wacko bitch and made me put a release date so yeah, and Random Terrain, i stated that it's in "Basic Stages" but it's a lot better than before. but still no sound /: couldnt figure it out still, my bB doesn't like Bitop_all_purpose and stuff like that. but im still in production so the official release date is August 1st. and i cant do a video, sorry about that guys, i cant find a screen recorder that records a certain area instead of the whole screen for Fedora 14, but i'll get some sccreenshots in asap.

how long did it take you to learn from this book

i would find a true collector or use ebay. me? im looking for cheap stuff. so i would offer like $5 and rip you off mwuhahahahahaha. but i saw on yahoo answers a user said this
What you have is the holy grail of atari games. There was only 125 games produced and they were distributed to coke sales representatives at a conference in Atlanta Georgia in 1983. I've seen the game for saleon ebay a few years back and it sold for around $2000 dollars. If Iwere you I would hold onto the game, because it will only get morevaluable as time goes on. You also might want to get an insurancepolicy on this game, because if it gets damaged or stolen it will beimpossible to get it replaced.i would keep it. due to only 125 were made.
