I have been a 'squeaker' for many weeks now. You just coined a new term. A Squeaker- (used in the Atari Knock-out Tourney) One who spend the last two days playing the Knock-out Atari game of the week and submitting their score on Sunday night just to squeak into the next round by finishing next to last or third from last. That is me almost everyweek the past 5 weeks. (except for Kaboom!) I might NOT be able to squeak this next week. i am out of town Saturday all day and Sunday until 6pm. Might be able to squeak after 6pm on Sunday but might be too tired.

So here I am again. Five players left. My game of Crazy Climber has yet to be picked. So if I can make it to the finals, I hopefully can finish first in one of the final games. Hopefully. For what its worth I stayed up until midnight and could not post.I worked all day and was not home until 9pm I emailed the editors my score at 10:06pm. I prefer the Knock-out Tourney. It creates a 'must-play everygame well' attitude. That makes it more exciting!

I played 5 games yesterday and all were in the 160K's. Ugh! I need to get over that hump! Vocelli: 168730

Wow! I made it again! SIX players left! I am not a big Frogger fan but the game was not boring either so last week was ok. This is where I predict this weeks low score. But first... Last weeks' game Frogger. I did a bit better on the prediction. I predicted 2550 for the low score and this is how it ended. 5,613 - DT Kofoed 1st 4,063 - Deteacher 2nd 3,999 - Jifremok 3rd 3,759 - JacobZu7zu7 4th 3,670 - Vocelli 5th 3,576 - toymailman 6th 2,813 - Gorfy 7th I wasn't too far off. And look the top 2 players finished at the bottom! Now that high score, once again, is truely a feat of greatness! Onward to Seaquest. What a fun game. Activision was amazing back in the day! Not much to say about the game but pure fun! Now we are down to the last six players. The competition will be fierce. So I predict the low score will be... 220,000 maybe even higher! C'mon, we are talking about the top players here. Lets see what happens. I imagine that ANYONE could be gone. Practice, practice, practice! My first score. Vocelli: 87720

We are down to SEVEN ! Just one game that you are not good at could KO you. This is where I try to predict the low score of the week. But first last week... Kaboom! Wow, I didn't know I was that good at Kaboom. Go figure. I just discovered this. Good for me! I was REALLY off on my low score prediction. The worse prediction I have ever made. I predicted 18K but this is what it looked like. 6,641 - JacobZu7zu7 6th 4,096 - DT Kofoed 7th 2,715 - Scrabbler15 8th So I was way off. But look at the top scores. 26,274 - Vocelli 1st 17,573 - Gorfy 2nd 11,801 - Jifremok 3rd Hey I beat everyone. My best showing yet. Now onward. Frogger ( Difficulty A ) Now everyone has played Frogger at least once. Honestly, I hate the game. I am OK at it but I find it not to be fun. Just me. Getting over 2K points is good and cracking 3K is GREAT! Playing on Difficulty A makes cracking 3K even harder. Once those snakes appear I find myself losing my lives quickly. So I will predict the low score of the week will be 2550. On difficulty B I would say over 3K but on Difficuly A hitting the first hole can be frustrating. Plus, sometimes the Logs don't line up right and I can't even get to the first hole. Good Luck, we are approaching the finals quickly! Vocelli: 1738

Did this score last night. I know I can do better. It seems he always gets me when he puts a bomb on the edge and I do not turn the paddle enough to grab it. My only tip is to play with the sound OFF. It seems to calm the nerves. Vocelli: 20450

Wow! We have had some CRAZY Top 10. First one of the best Atari HSC Players goes down in Laser Gates then Cparsley is 2 minutes (that's right 12:02am) too late to submit his score which would have put him in the next round. Thanks to him I am in the Kaboom round. So, this is where I predict the low score of the week. But first... Last week for EFTM I predicted a low score of 210. Wow was I off. The scores were so much higher. The KO tourney is really pushing the players to perform at their best and it shows. 444 - DT Kofoed 7th 349 - Vocelli 8th - not KO'ed because cparsley score of 549 was submitted at 12:02am. Everyone who is left made it out of the maze at least once. WOW! The high scores were... 615 - toymailman 1st 598 - Jifremok 2nd 549 - cparsley 9th (actual KO'ed player) That high score may never be broken! Onward to Kaboom! Now you are either really good at this game OR really bad.This is a hard prediction. Since we are down to 8 players and all are good I am predicting a low score of... 18K. That's right 18K. It might even be higher. Once you can get past 10K and can perform well with 1-2 buckets then you should make it to 18K. I know I have broken 20K once as a kid. So... good luck! YIPPIE ! I spent over 5 hours trying for a high score! Glad to see it paid off! On to Kaboom!

The time is off by one hour. Right now it is 8:05am. But the post reads 7am.

This is how it went. I poster my score at 11:27pm est. Gorfy posted at 11:29pm. Then I logged off at 12:01am. And went to bed. Cparsley's score was not posted until 12:02am and then edited later. Looks like I move on.

I went to bed at midnight and this score was not posted until after midnight. Not to be a stickler on rules but I just want to stay in the race.

OK finished my day of playing Mindmaster. Finally at 7:05pm I escaped the maze!!! Vocelli: 349 I hope this is enough to get me thru!
