Ok Players we are getting slightly closer. 13 players left. This is where I predict the low score of the week. But first... Last weeks' prediction was slightly off. I said that 26K would be the low score and we could maybe could see a score of 15K from someone. Well this is how the bottom 5 looked: 06+ - 25,160 - DT Kofoed 10th 05+ - 24,300 - Fallout_002 11th 04+ - 23,320 - classicgamer_27330 12th 03+ - 21,530 - LarcenTyler 13th 02+ - 10,450 - Cortat G 14th I was 5K off. Cortat G dodn't have a lot of time to spend on the game so his score was the low score I thought could happen. But 5k lower than predicted. Players needed to spend some time with this game to get good and it showed. The 3 top scores were once again impressive: 15+ - 56,760 - Gorfy 1st 14+ - 54,980 - oyamafamily 2nd 13+ - 50,380 - Jifremok 3rd Did anyone make it to the end of level 2? Great job if you did. If you have never played this weeks game, it will also take some time to get a good score. Kung-Fu Master Personally I hate fighting games. From Double Dragon to Motal Kombat to Super Smash. I hate them all. So I will predict that my score will be close to the bottom this week. This is one game I cannot play well. So, just like the last two weeks, practice is needed. The low score will be 52K with the possibility of someone getting a nice low score of 28K. I will get around 52K and someone else without much time to practice will get 28K. Good Luck. Ok... this is the part where I predict what the low score will be. But first, those Tron scores were outstanding! 90K WOW! That game I consider a hidden gem. I was slightly off in my low score prediction (52K) and I thought I might have predicted high. If you take out the zero score, only 4 players scored lower than my predicted low score. 51,600 - Fallout_002 11th 41,900 - Jifremok 12th 37,800 - DT Kofoed 13th 33,200 - Cortat G 14th 0- Zoyx But those 4 scores were much lower than I thought they would be. Needless to say, we are getting down to some good players. The next game... Moon Patrol. It will be very much like Tron. Where as if you put in the time and memorize the patterns, it is a great game but takes training. I always marveled at the arcade at people who played this game well. It took very fast reflexes and time to master. So, once again, one day of playing will not give you a good score. As a kid I made it thru the whole first level 3-4 times but getting thru level 2 was very hard. So I believe the low score will be 26K. That means you make it to the last section in Level 1 but fail to make it to level 2. Some people will do very well while others will get frustrated on Level one and we might even see a very low final score (15K). But if you give the game some time it is a good challenging one. WOW! That Pole Position competiton was CRAZY! We should see Sunda as being an intense day for posting scores from now on. I would say I was not close on the Pole Position predicted score. I didn't think everyone would score so high and so close. Ok. Advertures of Tron. This game is a game that I have always wanted to get good at but never sat down long enough to get a decent score. At first the game is confusing but turns into an outstanding game that never gets boring. Once you play and understand what the heck is going on you will enjoy it. If you have played this game in the past you will have an early advantage. But if you spend enough time with it this week you will catch up quickly. To the newbies, one day of play will not get you a great score. As a kid I broke 45K but could have gotten better with time. So I predict the low score of the week will be 52K. That might be high but I have confidence in everyone to score well. There might be a slacker out there who gives up quickly but since we have very active players left, I am not counting on it. Good Ol' Pole Position. The arcade version was GREAT! The Atari XL computer version, the one I had, was GREAT! The Atari 2600 version was OK but very limited. Anyway here where I predict the lowest score. Last week the Rampage scores were a bit higher than I thought, excluding the zero score and the score that couldn't get knocked out. I thought more people would play once or twice and give up. So I was a bit low (45K) when the next lowest score that would have been bumped would have been 73K. I guess we are getting to the active players left in the competition. It is getting very interesting. So this week I predict the lowest Pole Position score will be 55K. That's right 55K. I believe that is two crashes. Should be a RACE to the top this week. My starting score: 55350

Ugh!!!! Could not go any further. So I plungded myself off of the building 3 times and died! I am done with this game unless I get near the bottom. Note to the knock-out club, never pick this one again. Vocelli: 267,600

Rampage... much easier than I remember. More boring than I remember. So my prediction for River Raid was off. If you take Stan out of it I was 10K off of low score. I figured everyone was good at River Raid since almost everyone had it as a kid. Now, my predicted low score for Rampage is 45,000. Some of you will get tired and bored. I was at my current score. I don't think I have ever beaten 30k in Rampage. This might be a rough week for me. UGH!

Creeping along. When I die at a certain spot I usually take the other split route because the setup of helicopters is easier. Also, sometime I just zoom past aircraft that is positioned near the end of the level. Those seemed to be killers and trouble spots. Vocelli River Raid: A/B 58120

Ok Left A (straight missiles) and right B I was better than average as a kid at this game. A joystick makes this much easier. I was VERY close to the Kool-Aid prediction of 22K as the lowest score (25,400 was the actual). This week I predict 51,000. Straight missiles are slightly harder but not much. My score. Slightly higher. Really addicting game. Looks like my predicting of 22K being the low score is going to be close. Whose picking the next game? There is one game I really suck at. I guess pick that one soon so I don't get stuck with it later. Vocelli: 48500

Oh Yeah! This game could have been a lot better with some more ideas thrown in. I always try to predict what the lowest score will be (the score that gets knocked-out) and that Yars score was very low. This week I predict that you will need 22K to make the cut. My score... Vocelli: 27700

MAN, MY POWER NEVER GOES OUT. I was in the middle of a great Yar game... took a break and BAM 1 hour into the break power outage! I could have rolled this sucker.
