I was knee deep in Mario and Zelda when this came out. I bought this a few years ago but never got into it. Looks like a good challenge.

I got more frustrated with Millipede. At least with this game I am showing much improvement. Ok... my day of Mario has ended. Not many breaks. Over 20 games played. After beating the high score and jumping around the living room, I log on a see that oyamafamily scored even higher. Curse you. Do I have it in me to spend another day playing. No. But maybe a few tries tomorrow will push me higher. Ok My new high Vocelli: 488,000

Ok, back from my trip to Williamsburg, Va. I learned only one thing. They did not play video games in colonial times. Today is a day of Mario. I have been lucky in the fact that Ze_ro has picked games that I have played a lot. I just know one of these weeks it I will be saying "What the heck kind of game is that, never heard of it" Anyways... Starting Mario day off with : Vocelli: 115400

Just thinking. This is just an idea to bounce off everyone. By no means am I stepping on toes here. Why not institute a playoff system? Top 8 players make the playoffs and during the last 3 weeks they fight it out Head-to head via bracket style. Week one: 1 rank vs 8 rank, 2 vs 7, 3 vs 6 and 4 vs 5. Ze_ro picks the game. Winners move to playoff Week 2 with four players going head-to head (two match-ups) with scores on a different game. Both winners move to week 3. Week 3 would be the "Atari Final" or whatever you want to call it. Think of a clever name. The last two standing players go head to head on another game. We crown our champ. Positive and negitives? Positives: Keeps everyone involved until the playoffs. I would love the chance to take out some of you during playoff weeks. Negitives: If you get eliminated. No competition until we start a new season. Just an idea. I don't want to change if nobody else wants to.

Hello Mario... Played this one at the arcades a lot! Much harder at the arcade with great arcade graphics. I was very dissapointed with the Atari version BUT it is still a fun game and a great challenge after 60K. Thanks for another great pick ze_ro. Its funny, the bad guy in the DSi game I am playing is called Zero. Zero traps 9 people on a boat and they have to figure out how to get out. Called '9 hours, 9 Persons, 9 doors'. Anyways... day one score... Vocelli: 75500

Ok... This game is great for the 2600. So much is going on. I played it as a youngster. I used to keep score sheets on certain games. Back then I broke 300,000 once. I broke 250,000 6 times. So I will be happy to break 250,000 25+ years later. A lifetime, and I do mean a lifetime, later my current high score is... Vocelli: 192,820

Thanks Ze_ro. After I dug my Atari out of my closet this summer ( I haven't played since 1988), I found this site (by accident). Then I found the high score club (wow, this really exist). I have enjoyed it a lot (addicting good). It has brought me and my 12 year old son even closer (he has mad skills)! Sometime we laugh and sometime we get frustrated (he has trouble with paddle games. kids these days do not have to use knobs). We spend more time on the Atari than on the Wii. Thanks for keeping everything straight. My life appreciates it! Vocelli I usually like to be surprised with the weekly game but I will recommend Lady Bug Dragonfire Crazy Climber Turmoil
