Almost said the same thing in my post. But then I remembered I now people that say "lol". Losers! I have noticed the same thing and didn't say it to stay out of trouble. Seems like a European thing to me. Must be why I say snes and nes.

Which 90's console has the best sound?

That was my immediate thought after reading the first post. Now there is a winning choice. -

Which classic console has the best sound?
Nikdog replied to toptenmaterial's topic in Classic Console Discussion
That just made me drool. 1. PC-Engine/TurboGrafx 16 2. Konami's sound chips 3. Famicom Disk System -
So Coaxial & S-Video are phased out on newer TVs?
Nikdog replied to S1500's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Thats what the VCR is for. My SuperBetamax's primary function is to convert RF to composite. Which latter in turn gets converted to HDMI. Did you make sure to go into system settings and change RGB to Y/Pb/Pr? The only things I would use with S-Video are S-VHS and SuperBetamax. -
So I went to Chuck.e.cheese for the first time in 20+ years

Not at the one near me. They just think I am ripping off the machines. -

Why do people misuse the term MIDI in regards to games
Nikdog replied to Arkhan's topic in Classic Console Discussion
I used to do the same. Now I just say chiptunes. -
90's arcade hardware was a joke
Nikdog replied to Multijointed Monster Maker's topic in Classic Console Discussion
... Why? Why would I comment about that? That has nothing to do with the original discussion. I'm not here to dispute what you posted (whether it's correct or not, I don't know or care). Then why bring it up? Wow really? Really? I mean it's quite simple. People speak from experience. It's what they know. You talk to a game programer and they are gonna say "well when I was working on etc..." Arkhan only has the one game to go off of. He's just starting and it's all he knows, for now. You need to grow up and get a live instead of trolling. Also learn how to quote douchebag. -

It's the main CPU IIRC -
Well how about that, I never noticed it didn't do decimals. Print 2.678 Syntax Error Print 2.6 Syntax Error Print 1/2 0 Print 5/2 2 Gonna have to try the rom of version 3. heh, same thing. More reason to get an MSX then.

Thinking about getting a new LCD gaming TV
Nikdog replied to Ransom's topic in Classic Console Discussion
I am honestly an LCD gamer. Prefer it way more then having a CRT. (about here is where all the people who are Pro CRT and dicks, tell me I have never lived or something along those lines.) LCD's just have a sharpness and clarity to it that I just like more. Plus they don't usually overscan. I can actually see the edges of the screen in Vasteel (TGCD/PCECD). My suggestion for LCD gaming, Get a Pyle Home PSCHD45 SCART to HDMI Converter and SCART cables for all your systems. Looks great. But I'm sure the Pro CRT comity will be prepared to tell me I am wrong, so what you should do is take a/some system(s) to a friend who has an LCD and see if it's something you would like to use. Otherwise hang on to the CRT and just buy your HDTV. As the sole member of the Pro LCD, they look fine, comity I rest my case. PS. TVs I've used in my experience (Sharp 42" 1080p, Sharp 52" 1080p, Westinghouse 32" 720p, Viewsonic 24" 1080p) -

It didn't lack the "chip", it lacked input on the cartridge slot for sound expansions. Thus also meaning that the US/EU versions of games lacked the extra sound chips. Too bad the US/EU FDS never came out. It would have allowed FM synth for cartridge games as well as disk games. -
I've never used floating point before, so I have no idea.

Thats awesome. Also, 160,000 Indonesian rupiahs = 17.76 U.S. dollars

Is there no way to do exponents in Family BASIC/NS-HuBASIC? print 2^2 Gives me a syntax error. I would work around it by having a*a instead of a^2, but then how am I to replace x^(1/2)?

After watching the video and playing the rom a little bit, it's not as bad as the nerd says it is. I figured you owned the MSX version Arkhan, probably gonna have to play that version.

yes

The SRAM only works if the game you're playing supports SRAM. Try out Neutopia and see if it notices the "File Cabinet" anyway the 128M neoflash kicks ass. Ive never had problems with it. So does the 128MB avec save, override the console SRAM?

BRB, watching the AVGN video and playing the rom.

Really? I'm gonna have to check that out.
