    This is why I NEVER buy from stores on eBay. I say if you own a store be it online or with a physical storefront, you should sell your stuff there. Actually I bought something from a store on eBay once and it took me so long to get my Pretty Changes Barbie..ahem.. that I decided never to buy from one again. Most could care less about feedback or pleasing their customers because they have so many items up.. blah..

    Your opinion is off-topic.  The topic of this thread is PROFESSIONAL REVIEWS, not our individual opinions.  Please confine comments to discussing the scores given by professional reviewers.  Thank you.

     

    I started by discussing these PROFESSIONAL OPINIONS, which I will again state are based on stats that can be extremelly skewed.

    You seem to spend a lot of time looking for stats trying to prove something, what I'm not sure, but as I have stated before I think relying on any reviews or ratings or statistics to prove "mine is bigger than yours and therefore better" is pointless. You can scour the web and magazines and get all the PROFESSIONAL OPINIONS you want, but as far as I am concerned it doesn't do anything but show bias.

    Just like I do not rely on polls to sway my political opinion, I don't rely on stats to determine what games or system I am going to spend my money on, or listen to critics when deciding what movie I will go see. When something is based on opinion, it is just that an opinion.

    So that is my discussion of these so called professional reviewers, WHO CARES?

    Why do discussions about modern consoles always turn into personal attacks? If you don't like a console don't buy it. Buy and play what ya like. Calling consoles the Piece of Shit 2, Gaycube or XFlop just shows that you are a biased troll.

     

    You are damn straight I called the PS2 a Piece of Shit, because it is. I don't know how much money we have wasted on games for that system, Maximo, Ico, and Devil May Cry being the exceptions, and we no longer have any of the games we bought for it, because it SUCKS. I will attack it all I want because it SUCKS, IMO, which I am allowed to have.. :P and while that may make me biased it does not make me a troll...

    The PS2 is an affront to me personally, Sony is an affront to me personally..

    Now let me tell you how I really feel :D

    actually, I find the original X-Box controller very comfortable.

     

    I agree 100%. To anyone who says the Xbox controller is to big, I say my 7 year old son can play with it just fine and he has tiny 7 year old hands, he is not a pansy..

     

     

    Halo can be great, but I don't dig those kinds of games, so I could care less about it.  Panzer looks good, but still, I'm not buying an XBox for that.

    I had no interest in Halo when Starscream bought it. I watched him and his friend play it and still shrugged my shouldars, because I too was not interested in games like that. What got me into it was watching them play a death match. I said to myself that looks like fun. Once I started I was/ am completely addicted to it. i eventually played the game through and I loved it. It introduced me to a whole new genre of games.

     

    And Panzer is a simply gorgeous game!!!

How ironic is it that many of the games listed for the PS2 are also available for the XBox and GC and are exactly the same game and yet don't get similar ratings. You go ahead and tell me that these statistics are accurate and unbiased. Yeah I might believe you. :roll: Because the proof isn't right in front of my face.

    Go ahead and love your Piece of Shit 2. You wanna be gullible and think it is the best console out there go ahead and delude yourself. Go ahead and play a sub-quality system. I have one, have played it and it is the WORST system I have ever played, and no amount of worthless stats will convince me otherwise. Sheep!

    Hey,  theres a reason Microsoft got to where it is.  Not by accident,  and not by being a "monopoly".   The Windows operating system is,  even with its many flaws,  the best easiest to use operating system.  The Xbox  may not be the best out there,  but it's definetly on of the best.  If it weren't for the media-lambs out there who believe what the talking heads tell us on the news,  the xbox would have better sales I think.  It makes me laugh that people hate Bill Gates because he made a better product than anyone else and became rich from it.   The bastard! :roll:

    GCN = 4

    Actually it is 3 for the Xbox

    and 6 for the PS2

    but this is just typical of people trying to "prove" themselves..

    What sites are you people using?? I think most people consider gamerankings.com to be THE site for figuring out the average reviews for console and PC games. Here's the top 10 list from that site:

    I'll let the GC boys figure out the GC ratios of greatness... I think they boast a library of 180+ games?

    Also, if you see FF10 you'll notice that the men/women look normal.  Consoles have finally reached the point where they have enough power to portray realistic people instead of cartoonish sprites.

     

    I did see the game when it first came out and visually it was incredible, however, once again the plot lost me after the big game...

    I agree 100% with Ze_ro, although I would like to extend it to every genre of games. I am sick to death of seeing japanese caricatures of human beings with blue hair, big eyes and child-like faces. I think their culture must be full of pedophiles.

    And I never understand a single thing in any of the plots. Even the Jet Sets that I love have the queerest plots. :|

    Rumor has it one of the reason's the game's been delayed is so you can use the voice communicator (from Live) on multi-player game play.
