    I do a bit of selling on AA here and there. I am by no means a professional, though I try to behave as such. That being said, I do notice that "make an offer" sales threads get a negative reception. Why is that? Is it because haggling makes people feel uncomfortable?

     

    I see NO problem with it...If the offer is low, you tell them... If its high, which it never is.... well forget it you cant win :)

    Wondering if anyone here remembers a JC Penney pong system from the 70's ?

     

    It may not even be from Penneys, we got it for Christmas from a family member the same year ['77] as we got our Atari C-380.

     

    I vaguely remember the horrid black and white game play, compared to our new full color Atari. What stands out to this day was the God awful up/down Slide Switch to move the paddle, that became glitchy after about a month making you miss the ball all the time.

     

    I think you could also remove the handsets from the console like Atari's pong, this was a cheapy system for sure.

     

    Does this ring any bells for you old schoolers ?

    I think it is great that Krewat is fixing this game officially, but a fix already exists and the game can be completed. Got my cart from Albert last year and I have kicked Otto's butt a few times. The big bummer with the Atatri version from c64 is that Otto does not speak at games start or at the end when you catch him !

     

    As for the guy a page back that said he was never able to complete IM on C64, I'm scratching my head, as my best time is roughly 20 mins start to finish.

     

    I recently picked up IM 2 for C64... You want impossible this is it. If you do not have it, get it as it is a must have... Convert that to 7800 and listen to me sing that programmers praises. :)

    I hope the AA store will have boxed versions ? Shame it was not released here first as there seems to be a long line of folks that have been patiently waiting.

     

    I am still in for 3 of them, ready to pay when you green light me ! My brother is as stoked about this as I am !!!
