On closer observation of the startup the option 2 from start menu says "Turbo Forth 1.2", could this be a corrupt or mis-match of cart images from you v1.0 link?
Edit - answered my own question there, must have mixed up one of the .bins with version 1.2

Apologies Lucien, I'd love to see this game finished, very promising!
-
It's the TurboForth v1.0 cart binaries that you posted on here, tried them with both Classic99 v367 and MESS 140 and both react with garbled screen, I also have TF 1.2 which boots fine but obviously is no good for your program.
-
Did you type "2 BLOAD DROP TI-WARS" as written here?
No, does'nt even get to a command prompt, just goes straight to a garbled screen
-
I tried this with TurboForth v1.0 like you said Lucien but just lots of blocks all over screen?
-
Hi can someone please post instructions on how to run this with Willsy's Turbo Forth?

You can dial into it or Telnet. Marvelous little BBS running the S&T software by InsaneMultitasker.
As far as Calimari Carl is concerned, there is a thread on it... About 3 years old.
Most current code is available to download at the top of the thread, first post.Using the search function for "Calamari Carl" only brings up this thread, do you have a link to the original thread?
-
Definitely - but unfortunately I think heatwave's down at the moment
.What is this heatwave website?
-
Hi InsaneMultitasker - can you upload the fixed version please?
-
Take my near-finished Calamari Carl game and finish it. It's 80% done and I think I still have the fully commented XB code to send ya. Every routine documented in full, minimal multistatement lines, just good clean code. All yours if you want it.

Get it uploaded Opry - all games are good

Hey Ox, quick question.....
Have you had a chance to run the Beryl demo yet?
I think I posted it to the Beryl thread with a bit of an explanation on how to explore and use menu functions and such.
I have yes and it's coming along nicely imho

Great stuff people, thanks.

Hey Tursi, I recently downloaded "adventures in dinosaurland" (attached) which will only work in MESS using the TI SD floppy driver (will not work with myarc or other variants) and was wondering what emulated floppy hardware Classic99 uses by default and if the standard TI SD mode could be implemented?

Can't see the video Rich, it comes up as private.

- That you were/are looking forward to.
Manic Miner, Tutankham, H.E.R.O, Beryl Reichardt
.. and many more!
Whatever happened to all these promising game projects? I am of course posting this in the hope that some of you will resurrect these projects and one day finish them. -
What is gamebase?
It's a front end for running TI99 games through emulators with screens and other related info, an attempt to bring together every possible TI99 title in any easy to run front end.
-
Think it's my setup tbh, I'm tryin to get this thing running in FIAD mode in Gamebase and it's just not having it.
-
Help me out here Rich - when I load this into Classic99 in FIAD mode via RXB with the game dir assigned as DSK1 I RUN"DSK1.INTHEDARK" but it comes back with I/O Error 07,
If I do the same in IMAGE mode with the files written to a floppy image it runs but obviously the save bits are redundant due to Classic99 being unable to save to floppy images.
Am I doing something wrong?
-
Nice one Rich.
-
I found bugs Tursi, there's still no save states or disk images writes

-
Can you please whack the whole shebang onto 3 DSDD disk images and post it on here Rich?
-
Nice one Rich, why not just span the game over 3 X DSDD images instead of going for a cut down version? Easy enough to setup and run multiple disks in Classic99
-
Have you guys ever thought about doing a collaborative effort on a standalone TI99 emulator combining the best features of Classic99 and MESS TI99 emulation?

I second that Wow! Hope it becomes a full game.

Was reading on Google groups that Ksarul has just about one of the largest TI99 collections going so you could ask him and tbh I would'nt mind seeing what he has in order to expand the Gamebase collection to it's full potential.
