Finally someone who agrees with me. I've got an insane software collection that I paid a ton for over the years and its essentially worthless now. Pc games just don't hold value outside a rare few.
But just let this guy bump this thread into infinity, the point proves itself.
If it wasn't shovelware, he'd have something to sell.
But seriously, these games are budgeted, developed, and displayed as shovelware. I've passed up most of this stuff before in bargain bins more times than I can count.
Oh, and your version of Kingpin is a re-release, so yeah, that's worthless too. Sorry bro.

All of this is basically budgetware, with the exception of Silverload, Gab Knight I & II, and Shattered Steel, and those aren't even complete in box, manual, or mint condition.
Sorry man, but I don't think you could even give this stuff away. I know I wouldn't want it.
$15 Total is probably the most you could get from this, and since Gab II is now gone, that's actually a high price.
I know some are not much value but silverload alone on ebay is around $22.00+the 2 gabriel knights are around $15.00+

For fun, I added everything up. Total came to $10,245. If someone were to buy the entire lot at once, I'd sell everything for $8,500 (+ shipping, which I'd have to look at different/cheaper options for a lot this large).

Actual collectors know that Amazon and Ebay BIN prices are 2-3 times actual market value and are only for desperate suckers who can't wait a few months until a better and much cheaper copy pops up.
Yeah, kinda like the cheaper copies in my sale thread we're posting in.
As a fun little sidebet though, I wanna see what that auction ends up at in 6hrs. It's completely irrelevant to my prices, but I bet it'll easily top $100, who knows.

I also have a NIB System Shock, Bioforge & Wing Commander Origin Pack - what's that worth? How about NIB Blood & NIB Blood II?
I think I sold my copy of System Shock for $60 or $65? It was the CD-ROM Enhanced Version (mint/complete). That's the only one I can comment on from personal experience. Off the top of my head though, the Blood games seem to be a TON more valuable if the expansion packs are included. BioForge I don't know about, but an enhanced re-release has been rumored for awhile; it shouldn't logically effect the price, but for the folks who don't understand the value of original releases, it unfortunately will (for the worse). If the Wing Commander Origin Pack is that trilogy of the first 3 that was put out, you're sitting on a very nice collectable; I remember that going for big bucks ($150+).

Personally, everything listed is too new for me as I tend to collect 90s computer games and earlier.There is a shitload of 90's stuff here; maybe you have glaucoma?
I mean, is a mint copy of Oni with a Best Buy soundtrack really worth $70 when a NOS mint copy in the original box can still be purchased for $10?Yes, it is. Find me a comparable copy for sale including the rare soundtrack (all in mint/complete cond) and pat yourself on the back.
Is a used Dragon Wars with a strategy guide really worth $95 used when a NOS copy can be purchased for $20? I don't know, but I believe there is some very wishful thinking going on here.If the market is still the same as when I did this list, then again, yes, it is.
You can glance at Amazon and Ebay's prices and say "OMG, THIS GUY IS WAY OVERPRICED, WTF," but the issue lies in actually reading the seller's descriptions. It literally took me 2 weeks to go through every fucking game on both websites and read every seller description of the other copies for sale in order to get a price point for my stuff. Things would be listed for "new" that would say, "PRODUCT ONLY COMES IN SLEEVE," or something like The Lost Vikings saying "BRAND NEW IN JEWELCASE CD."
While in comparison, I have something like this to sell:
Main point being: If you honestly don't what you're talking about, then don't threadshit. I'm not here to rip anyone off; these are actually well-worth the prices posted (surprise!), and are an amazing find for the lucky person who actually knows what they're worth. As I said, I'm WILLING TO NEGOTIATE as well, since clearing it out is just as important as selling it at this point.

No offense intended but I really hope used PC games sell for those asking prices. I have at least that many to sell too and if folks are paying that much for 'em I need to get crackin' and offer mine up as well.
Condition/Completeness is everything. 95% of these prices are based off of Amazon & Ebay averages, and then priced lower. The remaining 5% are a bit higher due to rarity, condition, and zero other copies available. Some of those are probably even underpriced.
I've sold somewhere between 30-40 over at SomethingAwful, and every buyer has been really surprised at how pristine/mint everything is when it arrives. Everyone's been really happy with their purchases, so I feel that I'm priced fairly (as well as willing to negotiate).

SEALED = Unopened original box, obviously everything is included inside.
MINT = Original box, docs, media, feelies, EVERYTHING that came with the original product in PERFECT CONDITION.
COMPLETE = Same as above, but the box might have a crease in it, a retail sticker, might be a little banged up, etc...
JEWEL = Most of the items are in the original jewelcase/inserts, some are in the paper sleeves they came in, some were in generic paper sleeves that I transplanted into a fresh jewelcase. Main point is that you shouldn't expect a 'certain' type of jewelcase.
MANUAL = This is mostly to the best of my knowledge (regarding things that I bought already used). If the jewelcase has a thick jewelcase-sized manual (usually in the jewelcase with the disc), I counted it. Otherwise this means that it comes with a full, booklet sized manual.
