I turned on my new Atari 800, but it seems to be busted. Instead of a configuration wizard, I just get this "Memo Pad" app.

On the Atari, what about using both controller ports (combined) for one controller with more buttons? Random thought.

I just got an amber monochrome monitor (a 12" Amdek 310A) in like-new condition, complete with glare filter, and I managed to find a Hercules compatible graphics card as well! It's still my favorite type of PC display. Time to build a 386 PC and load it up with DOS games!

Found a beauty 24 inch Sony Wega CRT at the dump today, remote taped on top and everything! Works like a champ. Sorry JVC CRT TV, now you're GOING to the dump next week!

I had a dream where my girlfriend was somehow sucked into the American Civil War and almost killed on the battlefield. She came back a bloody mess and all shot up and subjected to the severe medical procedures of the day.

Bought one of my dream cars today... an '85 Toyota Cressida. Rust-free with a near-perfect interior from Texas. Totally '80s!
