  1. Well that shuts my cornhole then. No cons. Thank you Al.
  2. Good idea. No way to subscribe though. Still, that should work just fine.
  3. I've got a Happy Trails only if you are interested.
  4. Free, for the cost of shipping. I have three broken Atari 8-bit computer cartridges. I've tried cleaning the contacts very well (multiple times) with alcohol and q-tips, but they still won't work for me. The Choplifter case is taped together and pretty mangled on the end. Maybe someone here will have better luck cleaning them more thoroughly or fixing them after taking them apart? I'll ship using USPS first class in a bubble wrap envelope.
  5. Do you have an Atari group local to your area? If you are lucky enough to have a vibrant retro-gaming community in your area, they can usually direct you to a person that can help with this sort of fix. The 130XE is probably a bit less reliable than the other 8-bits, but the main problem is that they didn't use sockets at all. If it breaks, you must get the soldering station out. Good luck! It's definitely worth fixing. Great system.
  6. Interested....but want to do a little research first. I know nothing about these items and mods.
  7. I did the same as you. Had a CoCo 2 64K, a bunch of cartridge games, and a set of joysticks. I sold it all. None -- not a single one -- of the games I had was fun. The only good think I can say about it was that it had a very good version of MS Basic installed. But as you mention...that green bootup screen was just wrong.
  8. There was an Odyssey 2 game called "Monkeyshines". Could it have been that?
  9. I think Home Run is way too easy against the computer, but a lot better when playing against another person. It's the crazy pitching that make this game kind of fun. But otherwise....what a stinker compared to Intellivision Baseball.
  10. I know this is an old thread, but I have questions. That board in your picture with the gold color....did yours have a metal RF shield? I've got the exact same board, but it didn't have the shield. The last Gemini I had had a tan/yellow board that DID have the shield. Just curious.
  11. I grabbed it. Thank you very much. I've always wanted to try this game. i didn't realize they made a version that fixed the bad Polish->English translations.
  12. That Apple drive is cool! Even just for shelf-fodder. I'm PM'ing. Thanks.
  13. Thank you jedimatt42 and everyone else for putting this on. Great job.
  14. Sorry I couldn't stay longer. A very nice show. I really like the new location.
  15. I plan on being there for a short time either before or after lunch. I know sales aren't allowed this time. But I do have some extra stuff available that I can bring (and leave in my car) if anyone would be interested in a trade. I was hoping someone would have the 3d printed cases for the Atari joystick adapter or the 32k sidecar. Like I said, I won't bring this stuff unless someone messages me to do so. A silver TI-99/4A with 32K RAM added on to the motherboard. A set of Amiga joysticks for TI. A working, complete motherboard from a a silver TI. Some software on tape. Here's a picture of my setup -- just to share. It's got the 32K RAM sidecar, a joystick adapter (just came in the mail this week), a FlashROM, and my own home-made composite cable. Perfect for me, and I'm thankful for a lot of the members here that have helped me assemble this.
  16. Now that's a very nice item for sure. I'd grab it, but shipping to Oregon is $30. Hopefully somebody closer to you jumps on it. Thanks for putting it up here.
  17. Very useful for making your own "safe" Commodore 64 power adapter. This and a normal 5V USB charging brick are all you need.
  18. If I recall correctly, that Tron 2.0 game has the arcade version of Tron as a bonus item. Totally awesome, according to my memory banks. Somebody grab it!
  19. Just a thumbs up for this mod. I have one, and it works really nicely. A big improvement over the stock controller. $25 is a great deal.
  20. Bump -- added new pictures, marked off sold items.
  21. All sold. Thanks. All: I have a bunch of boxed, complete Atari ST games, all on 3.5" floppy disks. Please see the picture below and let me know if you'd like more detail. I honestly do not know the value of these, since there aren't a lot of similar "sold items" on ebay. Thus, I'd like to ask for fair and reasonable offers on some or all of it. All of the games work. From a non-smoking home.
  22. Replying as a reminder for myself to keep checking here. Is there a Facebook calendar event? That would be helpful as a reminder.
