    Do you know how much it costs to ship a pinball machine via UPS? ..Al Better question...can you guess how many pieces a pinball machine would be smashed into by the time it arrived if you sent via UPS? Answer, not as many as it would had it gone USPS. No package from Santa as of yet. Fingers crossed it hasn't been lost in the crazy mail storm that happens during the holidays. I'll post if/when it arrives.

    Good lord is it even possible to beat Ukyo in Samurai Showdown? Trying my damnest and I can only beat him in 1 round if I'm lucky. All of his attacks are stupid fast and have great range.

      Mastery of knowing your character's weapon range and special moves is key... I've always had a decent time beating him with Haohmaru and Ukyo's double, but with other characters, not so much... Of course, he's much easier to beat on SS2. ^_^ Overall, Ukyo is definately a good, well rounded character and also one of my favs. Good luck and good fighting man!

      I'm using Haohmaru as well, trying to stick with one character so I can get the hang of him. But I can only do one of his combos reliably, the tornado one. I can't find a move list either for the PSP version. I managed to beat him once last night but I'm ashamed to admit it took me haf and hour... after dropping the difficulty. lol And then the next person, the women with the rapier, man... she handed my ass. lol

    My Duo-R arrived a few hours ago and I am extatic to have it in my collection! Since it is region modded I think I'm going to be selling my TurboGrafx-16 soon. :P

    Not really a thrift find by any means seeing as this cost an arm and a leg practically but I got in the mail today a console I've wanted for a very long time. a PC Engine Duo-R! It came in its original box(matching serial numbers FTW!) and has been region modded by the seller for me so I can play my US hueys on it as well. I know the region mod wasn't really necessary seeing as I have a Turbografx-16 but its nice not having to swap consoles to change regions, plus when I get a multiplayer tap and extra controllers I won't need to get one for each console instead just this one. Along with the console I also bought a nice selection of Japanese HuCard and CD games and got 2 freebies as well. The last game on the lower right is an arcade card game I won in a trivia contest over on PCengineFX that happened to arrive the same time as the Duo-R and right next to it the loose card you see is a Ten no Koe bank card, a card that adds to the systems memory so I can have more save slots for RPGs which was a very nice little surprise. All in all the console + mod + games + shipping ran me $380. More then I've ever payed in one go for anything gaming related but it was worth it.

    Nothing beats watching Aliens in a pitch black room... well except watching Alien. Glad i bought the anthology, worth every cent. And this is before I'v even checked out the special features. :D

    Got my copy of SNK arcade classics for PSP today. I now need to stop playing Metal Slug and try out some of the other games. :D Shame they included so few runand gun / shmups in it. :/

      I haven't tried that one yet. I got really engrossed in Samurai Showdown. Game is really tough, Only managed to get to the second fighter once in the hour I played. :|

    I only played the campaign for like 45min and then stopped playing, I mean for fucks sake I played Sneak King longer then that and had more fun. The online is great... well about half of the time when its working properly.

    I hat how stores don't keep one of every model kyboard they sell out on display so you can get a feel for them. My keyboards starting to go out. Som keys ar working intermittently now, e being the most notable, forcing me to press down harder then normal for it to work. The process of finding one I like would be so much easier if I could give them a try.

    Did you reach platinum status for the reward points this year? If so you had to register to get the pins back in... I think it was like June? Just got done redecorating my engineers hat! And yes A_Locomotive really does wear a train engineers hat.

    Mine just arrived. Bigger then I was expecting them to be. think I'm gonna swap out the pins on my train engineer hat for some of these.
