  1. A guy at a thrift store once tried to sell me one for $80. *facepalm* He didn't believe me it wasn't an original atari, or that even if it was that that would still be a crack head price.

    (gets on soap box)

See??? This is notice to all of you 'thrift' store owners and flea market sellers and Craigslist Crackheads - we are reasonable and logical, you are not. We will not buy your stuff at your ridiculous ass clown prices. WE KNOW WHAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT AND WE ARE ON TO YOU! YOU ARE HEREBY ON NOTICE!!

Wow, what a maroon. I had a local guy here try to sell me a broken 4 switcher with a couple of ultra commons for $75 (he still has the CL ad up). He said he didn't remember how it hooked up and when I told him he paused and said," ... no, that's not it - maybe someone else will know". Morons - the whole lot of them.

Funny thing is the FB is still at the guys store. lol

  2. I actually have a TG-16 for sale right now. Its the console itself with one boxed NOS controller. No originals cables, but I am including an AV cable that a forum member made, PSU and RF wise I've just been using the ones from my NES and they work just fine. I have a photo of it in the for sale thread linked in my sig, take a look and if you are interested shoot me an offer.

  3. I've only played the first Orochi but I must say I am not a fan, it just wasn't as fun as the Dynasty games for some reason and I can't put my finger on why. My brother has bought almost every Dynasty Warriors game released and him and I have played the hell out of them co-op, hell on one game actually maxed Ma Chao from repeat co-op replays. We've loved every game in the series up until one of them(can't recall the number) that drastically reduced the total number of possible attacks down to basically keep pressing one button killing all the various combos that made the game fun. That one was so bad he actually returned it, something he has never done prior with games, usually being able to get something out of it. As far as I'm concerned that was the only real misstep in the series, well the Dynasty series, Orochi just didn't grab me for some reason.

  4. Its a really good game! The Ys titles were actually why I bought a PSP in the first place. I had been planning on buying the DS version till I read more about the two, what bugged me the most is I recall reading the DS version didn't use the original bump combat system and was overall less true to the original. I've bought all the Ys games for the PSP after enjoying the first so much, Oath in Felghana, Seven, Ark of Naphisitm, aside from AoN which is a little tedious they have all been an absolute blast! Do yourself a favor and track down all the Xseed Ys games while they are still easy to find in stores.

I never bothered getting Ark of Naphisitm since I have it on the PS2. Was the PSP game completely voiced like the PS2 version? I skipped on it primarily because I assumed it wouldn't be. I have most of the others except Books I & II since I got it on the DS and have the original version. (Although I need a console to run said original on. :ponder:

No sadly it isn't voiced, I've heard there were other differences as well too it but I can't recall them. I wasn't too dead set on getting it after reading so many negatives in comparison to the PS2 version but I figured what the hell when I stumbled across a complete copy for $5. Which system is your copy for? TGCD? I bought it for my Duo-R not all that long ago, need to wait sometime before playing it as I still remember what to do to clearly so I was just powering through it.

  5. Yep, I've the psp, but I only like a few titles and I mostly use it for emulation. But I would like to get my hands on Ys 1 & 2 Chronicles, this looks even more old school than the DS version since the psp version doesn't use perspective (3d) at all.

  6. If I can't play used games sorry I'm not buying. If I do it won't be till its been price dropped several times. Plenty for the PC I enjoy not to mention handhelds and of course all my classic stuff. As is from what little I've read I've yet to see one thing that makes me want anything beyond the Vita from Sony, Nintendo or Microsoft. Sorry Wii U you look boring and convoluted as shit and no used games or download only is a major deal breaker for the other 2.

  7. GBC Zelda Ages and Seasons, appear to be bootlegs, but work fine (save works too)

sold cheap because they look funny, I got them with a lot. $20 for the pair

They definitely are, legit ones have clear shells and a convex grip on the top of the carts.

Bump for a great seller. :)
