Looking for a loose copy of Faselei! for the Neo Geo Pocket color, must be in English and loose is prefered. That is unless you want to pass on a nice complete UK copy for a steal. lol

1) PC Engine Duo-R w/ region mod and original box. Long time want of mine but never thought I'd own a Duo since it never occured to me to get a Japanese one, I always looked at US Duo's with their crazy prices and let my wallet make the decision not to buy one. haha So when I found out that a Duo-R was a viable option since they have no region lock on CD games I started looking into them and found the site of a guy who sells them as well as offers modding services. So I decided to finally go for it, after like a month or 2 of back and forth emails with him I settled on what I wanted (Boxed Duo-R w/ matching controller and region mod) and what games I wanted. Since I was buying a ton he hooked me up with a ton of reasonably priced games and even a free Ten No Koe bank card. I couldn't be happier with the console, its an absolute blast to to play and looks freaking boss sitting on my shelf when I'm not using it.
2) Atari Jaguar. This was my first Atari console not counting my Lynx II. Was always curious about the console but seeing as the only ones I ever saw for sale where either beat to hell and filthy or outrageously expensive, I never looked seriously into getting one. But once I got my Lynx my interest in them and Atari in general came back and when I found and joined this forum and once I discovered I could buy a NOS one for a reasonable price from a reputable source I went for it. Yeah the console nor its games are perfect or close to it but it is what it is and its pretty damn cool.
3) SNK Neo Geo Pocket Color. Technically I got this in 2012 but seeing as it was first offered to me in trade during the final days of 2011 I consider it a 2011 addition.
I remember when these where still in stores always thought they were cool but never spent my allowance on one as I knew even then it didn't have a chance in the long run and I didn't want to get stuck with something I couldn't get games for. I even talked my little brother out of buying one I was so confident it would fail. Sadly I was right and it vanished, even then I still kind of wanted one. So ever since then I'd periodically look into one and then forget about it when I invariably couldn't find one for a reasonable price, in acceptable condition or I was broke. lol So when atari2600land offered me his I bit.
It cost me Astal for my Saturn and Doom for my Jag but it was worth it.
I was shocked at how playable King of Fighters and Samuari Showdown where on it. I'd always heard it was insanely perfect for fighters but never really believed it could be that much better then fighters on any other handheld, man was I wrong. lol I'm over all very impressed with the NGPC it far exceeded my expectations. If I could have a 4th pick my PSP would get it.

Advent Rising for th Xbox is definitely one of the worst I've ever bought, bought it on launch before its buggy nature was known. Took a VERY long time to beat it, not because it was hard but because the number of game breaking glitches I encountered were staggering.

Genesis box art was an order of magnitude better
Well not always lol. Great game but man does the boxart look dumb, its pretty much all the fault of the dude in the center, if he actually looked the dude you play it wouldn't be so annoing to look at.

My most recent horror story. For last 3 nights I made it a habit of playing Columns on my PSP(from the Sega Genesis collection) for an hour or 2 before bed, when I finished up for the night I paused and put the PSP into sleep mode and then picked up where I left off the following night, I had managed to get in a really good rhythm and could probably have continued on till the score maxed out, sadly a late night phone call last night startled me and broke my concentration and I didn't think to hit pause before it was to late(was quite close to the top of the screen working on building a big combo), I wasn't able to recover but oh well, so I entered my intials and went to bed, then last night I went to start over and beat that score(it was somewhere between 2-2.5 million or so), I screwed up fairly early on and got a game over... only to see I'd set the high score.
Turns out the game wasn't saving my scores so all that work for nothing. I've looked around in the settings and for the life of me can't figure out how to make it save my scores.

Could you post a photo by any chance? I've always been curious what it looked like under the label.

My favorite era is 16 bit and the generation following it with the Playstation and N64... lol what is this generation referred as??? I have the most fond memories from these generations and have the most favorite games from them as well.

Haha experienced fighting a giant for the first time today. Stumbled upon him and his mammon near witchmist. Initially tried killing him out in the open but being at a low level I did very little damage before he creamed me and smashed me a mile into the sky. So I then decided to try pressing his buttons once I noticed that he didn't attack on site. I did this by repeatedly ran into his camp and stole all his shit bit by bit. Once I stole his mammoth cheese though he started chasing me, after much running away I found a rock he could get very close to me but couldn't hit me from and I just filled his head with arrows. lol Then did this same to his mammoth though that took much longer. Speaking of witchmist are all the witches automatically hostile or did the witch there only get pissy because I killed the witch Anise near Riverwood?

Just got this today and I am loving it! Playing a stealthy very lightly armored argonian archer/thief, very pleased with the way the bow works in this game, in past elderscrolls titles they never where much fun to me, at lower levels they had seemingly no stopping power and piss poor accuracy, but in this one I just love popping people in the head from long range with my gals bow and getting stealthy one shot kills. And with the ability to melee with your bow in close quarters the need for a back up weapon if the enemy gets close no longer seems as necessary(though still carrying an shield and short sword just incase), which just means more stuff for me to steal.
I just finished up the quest to retrieve the golden claw and man was it fun, really loved the dungeon design, can't wait to see the later ones. -
The rubber bands need a few drops of glue, that´s all. No visible signs, and they hold back again perfectly. You only need to lift the first few and last centimetres to reach the screws below, not the whole rubber handles, yet they snap off easily and are as easily fitted back in (on a Lynx II).
Before the pouchbag I used a DVD carrying zip-case, roughly DIN A4-format, with the inlays for the DVDs cut out; now I use that for my GameGear

I would like the official Lynx carrying case but it´s always 2-3 times as expensive (with p+p) as the Lynx was.
Coincidentally, I´m having the same problem now with my PSP! Just my luck.
The Lynx carrying cases are very nice and worth the money, got mine for I think $25 brand new. Its much smaller then it looks in photos and is very well padded.
Your getting dust behind the screen on your PSP?
What sort of case do you have it in? Now I'm paranoid about mine.
My original Nintendo DS has a huge problem with dust in the upper screen, sadly i have had no luck in finding a guide on taking it apart so I can clean it. :/ -
I don't really dig syndicate on the Jag. :/ Just can't figure it out well enough that I enjoy it. Glad I paid so little for it, of all the games I own for the Jag this is the only one I haven't been able to enjoy at all.

Still no package for me... I think Santa hates me.
You'll know if Santa hates you when you open your gift. Santa really hated me when I was a kid, I remember one year when I think i was 8 or so I got, I kid you not, 5 lbs of coal.
I can't remember what I did to deserve that.

http://www.best-elec....com/jaguar.htm Here is a link you may find usefulI'm looking for a Jaguar system in good shape with the cables and possibly one controller. I'm not interested in the CD system and don't need any games. Looking to spend under $100 if possible.
Thanks
Wow... are they really "new in box" ? I forgot about that site, used it briefly when I had a 7800 for a few months. Thanks mate!
Yes they are brand new, they are new old stock, these were consoles that never sold and were bought up along with all there other Atari related goods.
I picked up my Jaguar from BE when I bought mine earlier this year, wanted one with the box and the prices people were asking on ebay were just totally unreasonable when compared to the slight added cost of just buying a new one. Plus believe it or not you actually get a warranty with a Jag from BE! Couldn't be happier with my purchase or Bradly's customer service, thought mine was messed up when I got it but he helped me determine that it in fact was just interference from poor cable routing and was able to suggest a solution.

OH GOD WARHEADS......OH GOD THE MEMORIES......
Those things HURT they were so sour, in fact didn't they have to tone it down due to safety concerns or something? I know they went off-market for a while then came back.
Haha yes they did tone them WAY down, they are still just as sour but for no where near as long. I used to buy them all the time as a kid and I think they stayed super sour for like 10 seconds before it started letting up, this batch the sour only lasts about 2-3 seconds.
If you had a couple in quick succession they actually hurt your tongue and it would be kind of painful for a little while.
I remember when they disappeared, I was so bummed.
Then randomly one days years later I saw them in a candy store again.

2 Complete sega genesis model 1's
How complete is complete? As in all cables and a controller, or boxed?
-
Got mine today! Mistook it for something else I ordered and opened it, I'd originally wanted to save mine for Christmas day but oh well.
I got a tone of Warheads and Bubsy for the Jaguar! Thanks Santa from Boston, whom ever you may be!
[i tried looking back through the posts to figure out who my santa is but failed since there are several people from Boston. lol]

I'll bust out my copy on my next day off, likely won't place terribly high seeing as I very rarely play it since its not exactly my favorite game.

Is that an RC10B2 in your profile pic? Sorry for that being totally unrelated to your OP.

(though I don't really have space for more consoles :/)
If space is an issue you should look into getting a modded PC Engine rather then a TG16, they hold the record(official Guinness one in fact) for smallest game console. I don't own one but from the pictures they appear no wider then the controller, which is only about the width of a CD case. So storage wise you could easily tuck one away with all its stuff in a rather small box or even a drawer quite easily.

What games do you have?
I have the below games plus all my US HuCards. The sheer number that I got with the system kind of over whelmed me, I'm being totally ADD about playing them, usually playing them for only a short time(usually till my first game over) then swapping the cards or CDs out for another game. lol I need to focus sit down and work on just one.

HuCard
Bomberman '93
Bomberman '94
Dochuki
Gomola Speed
Parodius Da!
PC Genjin 3
Son Son II
Valkyrie no Densetsu
CD-ROM
Cho Aniki
Psychic Storm
Winds of Thunder
Ys: Books I & II (US version)
Arcade Card
Ginga Fukei Densetsu Sapphire (reproduction of course.
)Kabuki Itouryodan
I really need to get an arcade card, Sapphire looks amazing and since I got both the arcade card games for free the cost of the card will be easy to justify once the holidays are over.
