    After I am finished making all these carts... I smell a sequel

     

    (costing approx $25-30 shipped to us cause of extras and needing supplies, label stuff etc... Though it was suggested that "Bobby's Going Home" could be appropriate as well? :ponder: This could be even more fun! :twisted: )

     

    Let me survive this first, requests for carts with custom labels/themes/sets will be accepted, then who knows. :)

     

    Chicky should make an "Extra Limited Edition" featuring the panties twisted into a knot with a version of 'I Want My Mommy' and package it with No More Tears shampoo. :twisted: Of course, you won't actually REQUEST these editions, she'll decide who she mails them to....

    No, obviously I'm not that prude since I have a beautiful little Princess Bean. :ponder:

     

    Really simple answer - They're/the games are out there already, there is demand for them, there are no real people in Atari Games having sex it's just pixels or they might just be married exhibitionist pixels, it's not me having sex or doing anything sexual personally, it has nothing to do with my immediate beliefs, and more then anything and most importantly -

     

    I am making carts in general because I need the money so I can take care of my kid and want to be at home with her instead of putting her in daycare fulltime (which many parents have to) or living off my dads money which isn't fair since he raised me already and am limited by various disabilities as to what I can do.

     

    I know I can do a good job, have the tools needed to make the carts, and enjoy the hobby - someone is gonna make money off it so it might as well be me - why not? :)

    And I also like thongs. :D

     

    I avoid X-rated games on all platforms so I'm not interested in this. I'm not offended, but I do wonder why a person who goes to church would be reproducing X-rated games.

    I suppose I could address some of the issues presented -

     

    Firstly this was done with cooperation and assistance from the admin/other mods here on AA as well as several other members.

     

    Second if anyone truly knew me, well, I wouldn't have to explain myself and the label has nothing to do with me or selling my personal self in any way (other then assembling the cart). In fact, I don't look anything like the label image, lol.

    I am still the same person, with the same beliefs, who still would help a friend if they needed it, still believes in doing what you want is fine as long as it's harming none.

     

    I had given thought as to whether I would venture into reproducing adult games and as I know members have looked for them for sale, and thought - they are still part of the 2600 library.

     

    Thirdy, and importantly, I also wouldn't sell this to a child. Brandonwright has nothing to worry about as he wouldn't be able to get a copy anyway.

    Besides their assets, everything else is also covered on he label.

    I've already said the extras can be witheld and I would gladly wrap the cart with paper as well if there are children or someone who could be offended by the game image in the house. Heck, the Priority box doesn't even need to be opened if a person chooses. I have a daughter myself, we go to church, spend time with kids and other families, so I understand and respect that.

     

     

    If I had offered just straight repros of the Adult Atari titles, since they are difficult to find, I wonder if there would be as much fuss? LOL. :ponder:

     

    Just doing that seemed unoriginal and the label is ehh so it was updated/modernized to picture 2 of the charecters from the game (with help from someone who has sold quite a few games themselves) and a little fun was had in adding the word 'MILF'. What makes the game itself any more offensive and if a guy had been selling this as opposed to a female I'm wondering if there would have been a difference?

     

    I also took into serious consideration and wanted to make sure that if anyone resold this game it would be very obvious that it wasn't an original title, hence even changing something 'in game' and would be more difficult to reproduce and resell later while claiming it was original while taking their own credit for it.

     

    Besides, I happen to think the thongs are quite pretty actually, took time in choosing ones I liked, and I was very pleased with the quality when they arrived. :)

     

    It's a, hoe hoe, Holiday special. :D

    If the cart won't be played, I can't fit a box in the flat rate small priority box, but alonlg with excluding the thong if necessary I could wrap it in paper if it would also help. :ponder:

    Also, The thongs are New with Tags and Thong color and design will be randomly chosen.

    If you wish your name to remain private on the list please specify that as well. Carts #24 and #25 will be going for auction.

    It seems like now is a good time for fences to be mended and bridges built. :)

    Now definitely is not a time for accusations imo nor arguments from other forums to be brought here.

     

    It's good to see open communication which hopefully will lead to more games and information available. Cooperation is definitely necessary for any project and positive support goes a long way.

     

    I am also sure if anyone has more info on stuff, Laird would probably enjoy reading over it as would other members of all the communities.

    Well, rather then any copy at all of some screens (which are making many drool already for obvious reasons) maybe if we are lucky there will be motivation to actually work on more and get it out there (and hopefully I'll have a jag etc to enjoy it on by then too, lol :ponder: ) :love:

    That's hardly pretty....He could have asked me to make a REAL direct video copy.

    Besides that is not even close to how cool it REALLY looks with all the other

    screens. Those other screens are much prettier. ;)

    There are definitely interesting points, valuable information, and discussions here however I would strongly suggest that if people can not communicate without downtalking, foul language, bullying, badmouthing, maligning people, their thoughts, or opinions etc. to NOT REPLY AT ALL. There IS a way to either disagree respectfully or to agree to disagree.

     

    If a person has someone on ignore, please do not post comments from the member being ignored just so they are visible to the other member. The ignore feature is there for a reason and it's inflammatory and disrespectful to circumvent it.

     

    Pete, Atariski,and anyone else involved in a heated debate - I suggest for your own best interest here on Atari Age to please use the Ignore button OR be the bigger adult and not reply if you cannot do so without negativity. The more people reply to negativity with their own, the more at fault they are as well.

     

    It does not matter who started what from this point on nor does past history between members matter.

    Keep this thread on track please or there will be repercussions. Thank you.

    Then speaking as a moderator I don't understand the point of posting something supposedly generic like that in an event specific thread.

    My strongest suggestion speaking from a moderator's perspective to everyone in this case, is to please keep something that could possibly be considered inflammatory, possibly hurtful, or considered negatively biased out of a positive thread and drop the subject because I don't want to see any negative consequences or hurt for anyone. There's been more then enough in the Jag community.

    I was using the 'it might never happen' thing in a generic sense and wasn't referring to the jagfest (as in, cheer up, it might never happen)

    Firstly, I respect and admire the work PMP has done for the community second I do respect Gorf's right to have an opinion and I respect the work he has done on games himself and finally what Curt has contributed to this community is a great deal as well and I know I'm not alone in those thoughts.

    I wish people could just respectfully agree to disagree and just respect work people are doing because something and a very darn good quality something in all the aboves cases imo is very much enjoyed by everyone who purchases it or downs the ROM. Not everyone has every system and not everyone likes every system so I don't see what any of these problems are about.

    If someone does or doesn't edit a post at this point just doesn't matter and I wish everyone could get back to the topic on hand please.:x
