I dunno. The Most Current Gen would be PS3, 360, Wii. So, While he is wrong because It does say that PS2 is ok, I can understand Laird's point since they are still making games for PS2 afaik. Dunno if they are still making XBox games or Gamecube though.
It clearly says in the first post that NO CURRENT CONSOLES CAN BE INCLUDED and seen as the PS2 is still being sold and games still being made it must be included in this catagory

Actually, no. He clearly says No current GEN consoles, then goes on to say very clearly that PS2 is okay. I wouldn't choose any currently-sold system or any form of emulation purely out of principle (the question is too easy if you allow those things), but that's not what the OP's rules were.
It's why my choice is Dreamcast. I don't have any emulation for it (though I would love to have someone help me set that up definitely) and I'm still very happy with it.

Barney I'll second, yeah explosion from the song. I also Vote for a Sesame Street one as well - Cookie Monster eating them.
Carebears death rainbow might work.
You'll have to bear with me, it feels like sometimes kids programming is all I watch most days, lol.
Umm how about Star Trek with either Spoks Vulcan Grip or Scotty Bean me up? How about a Indiana Jones fatality with him swinging in and using the bullwhip? I think a Star Wars one could definitely fit in as well or a Wrestling one with Macho Man snapping them like a slim jim. Ohh so many clasic gaming ideas too - Pac-manality,ETality, Combatality, Galagality...That list could go on.

Ok, and because I'm in the mood - A Victoria's Secret Bratality or even better a MILF Techality ... Maybe Being Beheaded by a chick throwing a thong, smothered to death with boobs, or lashed to pieces with a bra? I dunno, lot of possibilities.
The Annual Fashion show is on Tuesday December 1st at 10pm eastern on CBS. Yup,I'll be watching as usual.

You are so right. I don't think I could part with my DOS w/ 3.11. Consoles aside that would probably be my computer choice.
Yup Doom, Wolf, Jazz, Anthology. Also have Heretic, Shadow Warrior, Lemmings, Need for Speed, Duke Nukem, Mech Warriors lol, I love that computer. Haven't booted it up for ages since I've been busy with Bean and working on carts but it is definitely overdue for some tlc.
Putting consoles aside, the next tough choice for me would be my IBM PS/2 286 w/ Windows 3.1
That machine introduced me to great games like Wolfenstein 3D, Doom, Xargon, Zone 66, Blake Stone, Jazz Jack Rabit, BOWEP, and the first of the Activision Anthology series.
I miss that computer, a lot. I recently bought another used PS/2, and an unopened copy of Windows 3.1, so i'm hoping I can get some help getting it to run.
Now if we were going for handhelds I woudl have to choose the GBA. Because of playing classic GB games and GBC games.
I went through this phase where I just kept buying/getting systems and massive amounts of games. While granted it was a looong time ago and there was money then and no child, now I find myself looking through things and realizing I would be just as happy with a lot less. Besides the 7800, Dreamcast, and PS2 I'm ok with the NES, Genesis, Wii, and Colecovision. And for Handhelds the DS, GBA, Nomad, Game Gear. I have the old 3.11 desktop, IPod Touch, and as new as I can afford laptop.
Thankfully though I don't have to choose just one in real life *whew*.

Treamcast/Dreamcast because it is portable, can run Emus, has everything from racing, to fps, rpg, even fishing, lol, puzzle games, some classic collections, ddr games, quirky weird games, even ps1 games etc etc. There's such an amazing library plus things like racing wheel, ddr pads, guns, fishing rods, keyboards, mouse etc. and ideally I would probably find a way to mod some kind of hard drive & upgrade modem so I could continue to go online and run an as new as possible os(delving a bit towards the fantasy side anyway). But, it still could keep me quite busy for a very long time. I might be worried about disk condition over time though it's easy enough to make back up copies of games.
I can definitely see the appeal of cart based systems due to the known longevity but the DC still edges out the 7800 or PS2 for me.

If anyone is interested all his Pac-Man Hacks (or as many as I'm able to round up without more confusion)and future Pac-Man hacks will only be found in this thread here - http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/153831-atari-2600-pacman-hacks/.
I realize this is in the General Hack forum but it was just easier to put them in one place. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Thank you and have a good one!

I Wont Give You ANYMORE Hacks Because I Just Decided To Quit Spamming.

Ahh Ebay sends so much crap I have it going to junk folder. What day was it sent if you wouldn't mind?

They just emailed it. Each code was a specific generated alpha-numeric that only worked for the user that they sent it to. I'm not sure if they had a way to detect that you were surfing or what, but they said something like they noticed you had trouble on Saturday. If you didn't log in they may not have mailed you one. I'd bet you could contact customer support and get a code, by simply saying you had been surfing eBay last weekend and it wasn't working "is there anything they can do to gain your business back?" Not everyone signs in before they start searching.

Where did you get the coupon? I need to pick up something for Bean and it's an expensive thing. Thanks.

PacFan - Listen carefully - I told you to use the other thread and not create another. You are now going to be on moderator preview and if you continue in any way to be disruptive your posting priviledges will be revoked. Do not use any thread other then this one for your hacks.
Thank you.
ps - Thanks Laird. *Sigh* Also, my apologies to other members here yet again.

There are some games I always get motion sick on no matter what. I feel like such a darn wuss. I've had to take a Dramamine to play some of them when I really couldn't resist. It's usually new FPS depending on the cam angle and again flying type games with certain views. I noticed it's gotten a bit worse as I got older, ugh.
It's why I stick to the classics mostly (among other reasons).

Wish you all the best with the sales and hope everything is ok.

Great answers yeah. Tks OBM for quite the just about spot on description, lol, I can see it when I read your words.
I would say if you are concerned to dust her out and of course make sure the discs are clean when you put them in, but otherwise as long as everything loads and plays fine not to worry or mess with anything too much.

PACFAN, This is your only public warning that if you continue to span the forums with Pac-Man hacks or continue to use language like below when addressing other members you WILL be put on moderator preview and/or your posting privileges will be revoked. I strongly suggest you heed my warning. Pick a thread and leave the others alone. Members and moderators here have been more then patient and understanding. I am only sorry I didn't see this and reply earlier.
Thank you and have a good one.

Pacfan, I think you're spamming a thread and it isn't appreciated and atm I really don't care to look. You don't like it, don't post then. People work darn hard and it's been noticed that you are spamming many thread with multiple hacks as well as being crude and vulgar to good upstanding members. My strong suggestion to you is - Why don't you pick a thread and stick to it otherwise leave others alone.
I also moved your posts to the Hacks thread.
This was a game I was lucky enough to get as a mother's day present and the first one of mine.
It's independant for now and won't be combined afaik. To anyone on the preorder list that has been more then patiently waiting for me to get my life back together to be able to take care of you all, I appreciate it more then you can imagine and the support this community has shown me and my daughter is more priceless then words could say.
The new burner is working and the carts are built. I'm waiting fo rthe post office to deliver the priority flat rate boxes which they said could be a week to 10 because of the holiday. I'll send a PM around but please let me know if you still want a copy. Thank you.

Ooooh!

More details...
More nitty gritty details:There is no special code to type in. But you get only one order on Free Day, so spend it well!
Only one $100 credit per household. We ask that you respect this limit and don't try to abuse this gift.
There is no minimum or maximum order. You can spend more than $100, the balance of which will be charged to your method of payment.
Only Credit Card and Paypal orders will be eligible for the $100 credit. We don't want to have people tying up inventory with POs, wire transfers, checks in the mail, or lost faxes.
You will see whether or not your order qualifies for a credit in the checkout process.
Free Day does not apply to our distributors. Sorry!
Gift Cards cannot be bought on Free Day.
Any returns from Free Day will be exchanged for the same item.
Every order isn't going to ship on Free Day, or for a few days after. We've got extra tape guns on hand, but please be patient and give us some time to catch up!
We are ratcheting up inventory for Free Day, but backorders (a.k.a. rainchecks) are allowed on most items (some items we simply can't get anymore). We'll get you your goodies just as soon as we can get them back in stock.

Yup. Crazy Not So Bright Bimbos are only good for a few things imo, and talking isn't one of them.
Darn, couldn't even see her boobs bouncing much though the tight jeans were a nice touch. She needs to be bent over in front of the camera more with her mouth pointing in the other direction so you can't hear her as much. Actually, thinking about it, I didn't see any controllers being destroyed so just shove one in her mouth to shut her up while he's slamming her.

This video needed a more imaginative director.

It really bugs me when people erase and edit everything they have posted. If someone sells something fine but it can be used as reference later for others, moved to auctions if it goes on Ebay, or anyone who has purchased can post about what they got. Huge peeve of mine!
(Multiple Accounts, Posting P&R in General Chat, Using Bold type or obnoxious colors to post, and Listing Auctions in the Regular Marketplace are some of the others... Then again my mere existance is a peeve to some, lmao)

I'm almost afraid, lol.
I am sure Iwan Bear would have some creative ideas as well.
I love that evil santa too.Everyone that I've talked with over the years has really been wonderful and I would trust ya'll to buy a gift. Why not, lmao.
If Moycon didn't get your name, do we have permission to ask him what present we should get you?

There's been a Secret Santa quite a few times before, just has been a while.

One of the only things I'd worry about is what kind of present there would be if Moycon got my name!

The last public Secret Santa we had *I think* had a $20 limit and people wrote in a wish list of 5 things they wanted 3 Video game (no rarer then R3 or 4 carts I'm pretty sure and nothing dirty) and 2 non video game related items with an option being a gift cert to the AA store as well. One of the rules was that no one told who they had which made it even more fun because the "santas" remained secret even till now for the most part, lol.
It definitely was a lot of fun and I liked knowing I got something I really wanted and that it was a complete surprise from who. I have very fond memories of it.

How do you know there aren't dozens of people sitting on multiple copies of rare games and how do you know that there aren't cases of others out there? I sure don't say what I do or don't have and it's not necessarily a vast conspiracy or even that they knew all along for many many years that those carts were sitting.
Lasty how do you know that I didn't pay that much money for one of those games or one of the others that has greatly come down in value or wasn't nailed with another that lost a lot of value?
I may not have lost as much as some and others lost more then 200 on rare games over the years but if I counted every collectible I had that came crashing down I woudl say it would be 2k at least. It happens and no one has to say anything about what they do or don't have - that's part of any hobby. And many have taken a huge hit.
Bottom line is that you don't play if you can't afford to pay or to take a risk in someone finding the next huge motherload.
ps - Tursi has been around video games for quite a while and been involved since around or before 05 and he's a really awesome person.

That is the risk of spending a lot of money on a cart as opposed to blatantly knowingly being defrauding. It's also a good example of why these games are a hobby not an investment and why anyone who treats the games as an investment knows that it can bottom out at any time. Who would know that those were there? I've spent a lot and had it drop out in value many of us have, but there's no point being bitter about it imo.
No what I am talking about is them withholding the information that thousands of these games existed. I don't think anyone would pay that much for them when they first came out if they had this info. I don't care if you are a player, or a collector,or a speculator. To make an analogy, it would be like if there was a town of people who had no idea what a movie theator was. One day one comes into town and charges $75 a pop for a movie ticket, then these people realize that if they had just driven 10 miles there was a movie theater selling the same tickets for $7. A person is still going to get peeved about the high movie ticket price even though you can't resell a movie ticket once having seen the movie. So my analogy goes beyond speculation. It goes to a collectors heart. Trust me, there were dozens, and dozens of us who paid $200 a pop for these games. Collector/ gamer/ Speculator, or even reseller. All of us were ticked that this happened.
One more thing. I only used this situation because I felt it best suited what the poster was looking for. If you look at his join date, it says 2007. It could be possible he has never heard of this incident. So I decided to enlighten him on it.

Sounds like you've answered your own question if no one opens 'em, how could they know? Especially ones where the original have the style of shrink wrap that can be done by anyone with a hair dryer.Hehe.. yeah.. I guess what I really wanted to know was whether anyone was aware of any cases where the buyer /did/ discover they had been defrauded, discovered by accident or otherwise.
I guess nobody who pays $5k for a cart and finds out it's a block of wood would want to admit it.. I wouldn't.

The closest to being defrauded would have to be the Motorodeo, Ikari Warriors fiasco. At the time people were led to believe that the games were found but it was in the 10's, and numskulls like me were paying $200 a pop for this game. Then it was found out that these games were found by the case load, and that the actual number of games was in the high hundreds, and probably more like thousands. So many were flooded into the market that these games now typically go for about $25 a pop, and the sad thing is that there are still loads, and loads of these games yet to be unloaded from Venezuala, the source of the find.

I haven't gotten the hang of doing a label template very well though I could draw something up. I have no way of scanning it into the computer till middle of the week and could at least post a piece of art then.
