  1. Well, all I can say is I guess -

"And another one's gone, and another one's gone, and Another one bytes the dust".

EA is nauseating. Not that everthing they do is 100%* horrible just that it's not healthy for the industry in general, I don't think, to have so few unholy large corporations with their greedy grubby mitts in everything.

  2. I've never shipped anything overseas and after reading this amalmost afraid to ship/send stuff to Canada. We still are waiting for a package from Mindfield, but I've never had anything arrive from Canada faster. Amusingly enough we received something fro Atari dj in the UK and that was the fastest shipping I think I have ever seen coming from somewhere far away.

Speaking of the US post office I am on my way out the door to go there now. :skull: Would someone please be kind enough to file a missing person report if I am not back in a week or two? :P

  3. These are my wife's favorites in order:

    1. Frogger The Official Version

    2. Q*Bert

    3. Frogger II: Threeedeep!

While at the Conneticut Gaming Event we played against your lovely wife in these games. She kicked our asses so bad we landed back home again. :P

She likes simple games that don't require a lot of knowledge of controls, etc... to master them.

*ding ding ding we have a weiner. err.. winner!*

That about sums up my favorite kind of Gameplay as well.

Along with cute games like frogger I also really love fighting and shooting games as well. I always manage to come back to playing Tetris, Galaga, Ms Pacman, Froger and games like that.

My life is more then complicated enough and I really play games to get away from that. Simple yet challenging can sometimes be best to give the 'little grey cells' a rest.

One of my favorite GBA games is Wacky Stackers though a cute cross between Looney Tunes and Tetris. It's not s advanced as I sometimes would like it to be but it's still very very fun! *two thumbs up* :D

This was the most complete review I could find:

  4. If it came with quite a few games(least a dozen) I would say that 100$ wouldn't be too bad but just for a system alone I personally won't pay more then 40-50$ for one but an average consumer shouldn't pay more then 60$-80$(depending on inflation of the market) for it including 1 doggie (or maybe a gun and couple regular controllers) and Mario Bros/Duck Hunt at least.

I know an AA member sold just the system on Epay for approx 48$ recently *I think*. Not that I was watching it or anything either. :)

  5. I've seen GBA multicart auctions go much much cheaper. And I agree they aren't worth that much to me and I wouldn't mind having one either.

    32 in 1's for about 20$, $25 bin.

90 in 1's and 84 in 1's for about $35/40$ bin also hundred and something's go for about the same.

I don't know about the 2 hundred and something ones off hand.

  6. Nah let him, that's just fine with me. I really don't care honestly.

I hope that everything is ok in his life and that something horrible isn't causing him to act that way. *sigh* With all the nasty PMs he sent me I am completely willing to just let things go. I just hate to see a good member lose their standing over anger issues. It's time to move on with things and try to enjoy theis forum and the holidays.

  7. Soembody had better send this kid a pair of pants as well, 'cause he's gonna crap his when he opens up all his presents!

    How exciting! GO CHRISTMAS!

LMAO, we just picked him up from school - he got an "Excellent" for the day *all proud* apparently one of the kids as throwing furniture *cringe* and he sat and was good.He "had" to go to play Sega Marine Fishing, he he. Also he was surprised that I/parents/grown ups could "hear" him/kids thinking, lol.

(He looked so serious in the car I had to ask what he was thinking about - his brain was making a lot of noise. :) )

Me an Shaun also were talking that since it looks like the kid will have quite a collection, we were thinking of saving a couple for report cards or good test scores just so he won't get overwhelmed.

Oh, if we should end up w/ a double of a game we'd give them to one of the kids charities locally.
