I understand where both you, MrsMMF and Liquid are coming from, I am a darn curious bugger and love to send thank you's as well.
In this case I am going to make an exception and be very thankful that someone else cared enough to signed up and get us a lil something. Probably post a million thank you's in the thread, even sniffle a little most likely.
It's Kind of like a Christmas angel... so, I don't wanna know and I think I am going to let that lil kid in all of us somewhere 'that would love to tear at a package and rip it to shreds just to see what's inside' out to play just this once. Usually I very carefully open gifts and don't even rip the paper.
I have a hard time finding anything good in quite a few people anymore and also Lord knows we need all the belief in the good will of people in general.
Probably why we have so many critters at home and so few people, lol.

Darn pm'med addy before I read the rest.

We'd buy it for 30$ as well.

But couldn't the seeds be construed a form of "drug paraphernalia"? (Since hemp and "pot" seeds would be a different hybrid at the very least.)
I am sure the DEA isn't just waiting for someone to buy this in the US either.

lol, from what I saw in earlier pages there were a bunch of people from all backrounds participating - no one's keeping track of who belongs to what group. It's about us having fun and giving friends gifts.
I love presents especially surprise ones!

Some of his past stuff wasn't sold for too bad of a price at all so guess it's that "Christmas Mark-up" time of year.
Someone should ask when the "autographed" 7800 cart is opened if it will play right or if it's still sealed because the game sucks and there's no point opening?
Aww come on 4+ grand for the entire 7800 collection is a STEAL. So is 2k for a diagnostic & high score cart each.
(how much are those "worth" anyway?)

Just say it won't work right/is defective, don't offer any details and keep the reciept. When they try to offer you another one say something like "with the bad experience I had with this one, I don't want to take a chance" If you don't have the reciept then you'll probably end up w/ store credit at worst. If they try to argue say louder and louder that you have a young child this was a gift for and that they were so upset they are crying in their room at home, and things like how upset you are and how this is ruining Target's image (lol).
Mind you, you didn't hear any of this from me.

Hmmm, I wonder what I can get for #1...Al
You could get a hug, kiss, "thank you" and unending gratitude from me - all for the measly price of a #1 2003 Holiday cart delivered to the appropriate address... but truly priceless isn't it!
I knew you would agree and since we know you wouldn't rip anyone off here ya go ...

Even if I posted a pic of myself nakked (not that I ever would moycon - give it up hun  ) It still wouoldn't be appropriate (and I hope that I am better looking than that scary pic). It's a family site and open internet forum regarless on your thoughts who posts here so that wouldn't be right, even if some might wish it was true.
Anyway, I can't wait to find out more about the cart - looks like an awesome team is working on the development! I wish we could get a couple hints. *batting eyelashes and looking cute* Pretty Puh -leeese.

-
Back on track (now that my eyes aren't burning and the nightmares have stopped - Al we owe you) when are we gonna find out the details about the cart? I am quite curious and very much looking foreward to the holidays. I am sure it's gonna be awesome!!!

We definitely have to do some more shopping in the AA store. Always can find more good stuff to buy!!!
I wish we had gotten one last year.

They make a DVD you'd love Chicky, it's called "He Buries Them Alive." It's five of his best coffin matches, complete and uncut. $7.99 in most stores. Want one for Christmas? Thanks! I'll have to look for it. Maybe even look on Ebay.
Never wanted to spend a lot of money buying wrestling VHS/DVDs. It's more nostalgia. I miss a lot of the 80's wrestlers. Those were the days.
I wasn't allowed to watch wrestling as a kid and I remeber going to my grandfather's in Ohio - had a TV in my room there. They had wrestling on a couple times a week non-cable. I would turn the volume barely on and be up all night munching on snacks & drinking pop. I also loved all the wrestlers that had animals as companions - I always found that really cool.
Do I want to know??..Al
Probably not, lol. The meaner he was and the more things that got smashed overall the happier I was watching. I was a very pacifistic child.

-
I have to say, especially if he sends you another note crying, I might be tempted to every once in a while keep tabs on him or even outbid him on a thing or two, lol. For all we know he bids low so he can resell them.
Personally I think it's funny as hell.
But hey if you need a motive we don't have any of the old PPV or Specials, lol. I loved back in the day of the Undertaker locking people in coffins myself.

Oooohhhhhh...*drool*
I wish we could make it, looks awesome antique cars, gumballs, music and most importantly pinball and games. Dude they even are gonna have penny arcade machines. Perfection!
It would be a decent drive and we'd need to find someone to look after the puppy but I wish we could go!

I like the SP for the lighted screen alone but it hurts my hands as well. My main favorite thing would have to be the battery life - it last a long long time as well as being able to play regular GB, GBC and GBA games. It's also nice because while I think the screen is more sensitive then the older systems it at least flips so it's a bit protected.
The Castlevania games were really dark and being able to hook a worm light as well as the lighted screen helped. Although I do admit to mainly playing Tetris anyway.

Wow Awesome stuff!!!

-Are there any games that do play well on the Flashback?
-Do you think a 9 yr old boy with minor disabilites/challenges could play one and be able to maneuver around well enough? Also, does anyone think that there would be any games he likes on it? Hes never been exposed to older systems & is used to playing my dreamcast and playstation - fishing/shooting/side scrollers. I would love to introduce & get him playing classic games. He's rough on things and I wouldn't want him to break our 1 'real' atari.
-Oh yeah one more question that I know has been asked before - I also would be very interested in seeing the inside of one of these, if anyone is brave enough to take one apart that is.
-
For a minute you scared me, thought you had lost an auction like us normal people do.
Did you by any chance report that letter to Epay?
He put a bid within the last seconds, yours was just a second or two later. His loss. Your gain. Congrats, people who cry and whine sometimes don't deserve to win.
Haa Haa you won and he didn't.
Ahh... Now back you your regularly sceduled maturity.

The 5200 controller you have? Singular? Or does that mean (like me, unfortunately) that you have several lying around that don't work, and you only have one that does? (unlike me )Well, lol, sadly enough we only have one controller which works fine except for one of the bottom fire buttons. Could be worse. I shoudla put "a fully working 5200 controller" on my santa list darn it, I didn't even think of that until now.
-
Now back to the Flashback...
Is Sabatouer emulated nicely? That is an important question for me as well since we didn't have the fortune of playing or owning this game - I wish we could.
The 5200 controller we have really causes my hands to hurt a lot(arthritis) and since the controllers are so small on the Flashback I would be concerned for that as well.
Especially if the price drops quite a bit or I find it at a yard sale next summer - I may be interested.

I don't often stick up for Kepone but I will on this one to some regard for a change. We all already know how you feel about the flashback system, so there really isn't a need to post it in every thread about it. While I may not like it either I said my piece and are finished with the matter.
I wouldn't have probably said what he did nor am I agreeing with the manner he spoke it in, but I am sure people interested in that system or in reading the various threads have seen quite a bit of your opinion in all of them and may have even been thinking that same thought or similar.
If you've been "pissed on" so to speak by any individual here it may be your argumentative presentations or your seemingly belligerent attitude. You also don't have to always post to someone who counteracts or disagree swith your statements.
God knows I am opinionated, hell most of the people on AA know it as well, lol.
I still try to be as fair as possible to differing opinions, keep my mind open to change for the most part, and even if I do differ in thought with some people I still do my best to basically respect them. But, to repeatedly start or participate in arguments doesn't retain the continuity of open discussion. It also mars the forum. Our mods and administrators do a darn good job trying to keep order and I do respect them greatly. They volunteer for a job that many people couldn't be paid enough for.

Isn't there also a Pico system? Not sure where it fits in the timeline exactly though.
