  1. Fit one in an 800. I removed a little more metal then needed, but this way I could remove the entire board without taking the case apart again.
  2. I didn't have to make any modifications. It plugged right in.
  3. I have a 1200xl with an Antonio upgrade in it. I plugged it in, remove both OS chips because they are not needed since the OS is in the Antonio and it worked. Frank
  4. What do you use to make the cuts so smooth and neat? It doesn't look like a dremel...
  5. I didn’t cut pin 3, I just said it looked like yours was. Hard to see in the picture. What I did do was confuse pin 6 and 7. Little dab of solder fixed that right up and it’s working correctly now.
  6. Yes, me again . ... Does anyone have a picture of this modification - "For this reason RD5 signal output of the Rev.E is connected to the unused pin39 of the PBI and can be connected to the RD5 input of the MMU inside the computer"
  7. So the right side numbering is bottom up? 5,6,7,8? That would explain it.
  8. To make sure I have it right, I was assuming the pins were, starting on the top left, with the dot and going down, 1,2,3,4 and starting on the top right, 5,6,7,8. from that I said it looked like pin 3 was cut.
  9. What is that marked 470 on your picture? From pin 6 to pin 8? Mine is not the same.
  10. Yes, I understand that’s pin 1, and I shorted it like your picture has to pin 2, and I cut pin 6.
  11. I did as you said, now it's completly dead. I reprogrammed it but still no luck. Doesn't even go to the config screen anymore. I notice mine has a capacitor on pin 5 and your doesn't. Yours also appears to have pin 3 cut?
  12. I don't think this is for the chip in my device. When I do auto detect it displays a EPM7192S When I load this pof it shows as EPM7192SQ160. I flashed it anyway and it did not work correctly. The date/time on the config screen showed garbage and would lock up eventually. I visually inspected the chip and it says EPM7192SQC160-10N
  13. Simius, is this new CPLD available so that you don't have to hold down Option on an XL machine?
  14. Am29F800B. I just flashed it with the standard flasher instead.
  15. Uflash version 3 supports: SIDE/SIDE2 cartridge MyIDE/Flash cartridge MyIDE II cartridge AtariMax 1Mbit cartridge AtariMax 8Mbit cartridge Sic! cartridge IDE Plus (SDX ROM)
  16. When I run uflash and try to upgrade SDX to 4.49 I get the message - "IDE Plus (SDX) : unrecognized flash ROM or writes disabled. Set device properties manually?" It currently has SDX 4.48 installed. As far as I know writes are not disabled but I don't know how to check for sure. Frank
  17. Part of the Incognito install instructions was how to disable that.
  18. Where can someone get the latest CPLD to reflash it?
  19. I had only set the Boot Drive. I thought I had to change that. After I set the CONFIG.SYS to be D3 it worked as I wanted.
  20. Since I upgraded my Incognito to 3.02 (from 3.0) I can no longer get SDX to boot to D3. It always boots to D1 even though there is no drive mounted on D1. The correct selection in the bios is set to boot to D3 but that doesn't seem to do anything. If I press D during boot I can select D3 but I don't want to have to do that every time. Frank ======================== I changed the Bios setting for CONFIG.SYS to also be D3 and that fix it. Boots to D3 now. No more problems.
