  1. Antonia 4mb memory upgrade? Another daughter?
  2. Is there any reason one of these would not work in an 800 with Incognito?
  3. My two, never going to happen, "features" would be simulated NTSC artifacting so Ultima IV has color through DVI and change the graphics 0 screen to match what it is on a NTSC TV (non-square pixels). I know, a circle won't be round anymore, but I'm not used to it being round. Frank
  4. I would go ahead and install it. SDX will startup just fine without a CF card.
  5. eBay. I had a search/alert setup so I got an email when one was listed.
  6. I use my Sdrive with a 1200xl and no external power. Why would it supposedly not work?
  7. Is there a way on windows to un-ARC these files? I have tried some programs that say they can but report the file is bad.
  8. I only got mine about a month ago. I always wanted one. I haven't had much luck getting drives to work yet.
  9. Here is 3.13 ... but no B MYDOS313.atr
  10. Or here, I can’t remember anymore http://atarionline.pl/v01/index.php?ct=utils&sub=8. DOS-y&tg=Sources
  11. Got it from here http://atari.fox-1.nl/atari-400-800-xl-xe/400-800-xl-xe-tools/mydos-3-18-atr8000/
  12. Here is MyDos 3.18 for ATR8000 RS232 Version. Not sure if that's what your looking for. MYDOS318.atr
  13. The first drive is a Fuji FDD 5445A0N 360KB. The cable is straight, no twists. I'm using MyDos 4.53. The problem seems to be that I can't set the density. When I use option P in MyDos and specify 2,D it ignores it and sets it as single density. I also wasn't sure what to put for the Step Rate in MyDos. Frank
  14. Here are pictures of the two drives I have. The first is the 360KB one. The second is the 1.2MB one. I have a straight 34 pin cable. I was trying them one at a time. Selecting the drive with the jumpers seems to work fine. That's the only one where I know what it does.
  15. I am trying to get a floppy drive to work with my ATR8000 but have had no luck. I don't know if it's the two drives I have tried or the ATR8000 that isn't working. But they both turn on and spin when they are accessed but I have no formatted disks to try and write or read from. When I try and format it sounds like it's starting to format but it's not switching tracks like a regular 810 does. Eventually it times out and I get an error 173. If you have a floppy drive working with your ATR8000, what type is it .. exactly. Frank
  16. You could cut less of the metal case, but I made it so I could take the board out without opening things back up again. I had to use one extra socket to raise the board up and miss the other chips.
  17. I have the previous Sophia DVI version in my 800. Works great. Needed to modify the case a little, but worth it.
  18. Is anyone still selling / making these?
  19. ok, I just want to know how long do I have to wait before I can buy a completely assembled one. Frank
  20. When I try and format in SDX and specify the drive letter, the drive responds, the formatter comes back (looking ready to format), but then I can't change any of the settings like Tracks and Density. I also don't see anything to specify the size of the disk.
