  1. Hello! This all sounds very likely. Telegames shipped games in all sorts of boxes, the original run would include a normal cardboard box but they would frequently use those red or green plastic clamshells when they ran out, with a photocopied cover and manual. I don't know if anyone has ever compiled a list of verified box variants to check this for sure, but I'm confident you have a genuine box that the game left Telegames inside off, although it's not the original cardboard one that collectors often prefer. 2. How long do I have to get an order in for a classic? Is there a cut off date or number? I need to buy a Pheonix, and some of those power adapters, it's an expensive time right now! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  3. Yeah it must be people that can't afford it now but do want one. I only recently got my Coleco fully working properly but the Pheonix is too daft too pass up. At some point I'm gonna want an SD reader and an SGM, so may as well get this. Real shame about the Kickstarter, as I think with more time or more publicity it could have made it. I feel the overall complaints from people were the market is awash with NES mini cash ins, and things like the At Games controversy and of course the Chameleon still fresh in people's minds, really hurt the project. Still, looking forward to owning one regardless. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  4. Looks like there is a new pledger in for 10, which would push it up a bit. Does seem like a decent jump in the number if backers as well though. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  5. Just upped my pledge from a game, to a console with boxed game Is it me or is there a last minute upsurge going on? Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  6. Like the guy who says he could build his own from scratch for $50.. I was tempted to argue with him, but I don't have the energy right now. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  7. I added one, direct reply to Pat's own pinned comment Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  8. https://youtu.be/OUWlV3JwKy8 We got a video from Pat - neat. Fingers crossed it reaches a few more people Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  9. Pretty strong recommendation from John there. Hope it pulls in the pledges. Saw Metal Jesus talking about it on Twitter today as well. Really hope this funds Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  10. Is there a video of the Sydney Hunter game? I'd like to help out, but can't commit the cash to the console atm, but would be interested in just the game. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  11. Ok so I would guess licensed. It's missing the familiar silver label so I never clocked it as theirs. Was there anybody else doing this with Coleco games, other than Telegames and the mysterious Taiwan Cooper? Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  12. Well the is an interesting variant, not seen anything like this. A vintage knock off? https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F302917949260 Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  13. There is some one else that is working on a solution for the Adam's power supply? Maybe you are thinking of them? The usb one is live for preorders now btw
  14. There is main thread about it here: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/261997-new-power-supplies-for-the-colecovision/?view=getnewpost Tldr: preorders are being taken imminently:) Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  15. Wow, so good to see it repaired, so many faults would have seen it in the landfill for most people. My own power switches turned up tonight, which means I can finally play with a clean picture, and get the thing reassembled! Really looking forward to seeing it all it's Russian suitcase nuke 80s splendour.
  16. That's cool, definelty affordable! Will they be able to support the Roller? Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  17. Have we got a price yet? Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  18. Also just purchased something from him, great to deal with Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  19. Had a good play with Centipede last night, good stuff. Couldn't play Victory as the button that fires isn't working, so that's a job for tonight. Might focus on getting all the Roller games for a while, although I'm torn between that and games with overlays as I don't own any at all yet. Back on the wider topic, there does seem to be an uplift on eBay lately with a lot of unusual items being listed and sold. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  20. There is indeed, and I guess my viewpoint reveals I'm more of a buyer than a seller, only really selling the odd double I pick up in bundles. I think the seller owns publicising their own sales, so if they want to post it in here that's on them. Although a few years ago I was lucky enough for some blogger I'd never heard of to include a link to one of my sales, which drove the price up nicely for me, so yeah, it's not so clear cut is it. 21. Does anyone else ever feel guilty about posting in these sorts of threads? Maybe a member here is already watching an auction for some rare item they've been hunting for ages, and then I post it in here and suddenly there are 50 eyes in it and it's sold. Just me that thinks this?
  22. This months aquisitions! Centipede was from mumbai, who I can recommend dealing with. I was expecting the Roller to come with Slither , as it was advertise simply as new, including game but no box, and very nearly bought Victory yesterday. The CBS version is a bit rarer than the normal one
  23. Can't help but notice that even more homebrew games have been listed. Was quite a few the other day, but even more listed now. Think they are all from the same guy
  24. I'm in the UK and looking for Centipede for the Coleco. Would prefer boxed, but would consider cart only as I'm not rich lol.
