  1. the sonogram picture killed me. I needed that. you guys are doing some really good work.
  2. Ah, ok. Makes sense. I did not intend scrambling in a pejorative sense. Sorry! You have in fact been doing a great job communicating what's going on, and this has been a great project to watch develop from the sidelines. I can't tell whether it is organized, but the progress is clear! My coding never made it past pascal in the early 80s so I am always amazed by the work that you guys do, as well as what can be done on the 2600. Having said that, I will go back to cheerleading. Go team!
  3. Guessing that people are scrambling to prep project for viewing at PRGE...
  4. hahahahahahah! that is amazing. I spent a lot of time looking at the videos trying to tell (I got a new computer and don't have stella set up yet), but couldn't quite tell. That is a) amazing graphics-wise and b) too cute! psyched to pick up this game! you are totally killing it!
  5. Do Mappy's little arms wave up and down as he falls and bounces?
  6. Any chance of adapting this to the 2600?
  7. Hey Dan! I am an original activision player, so it's very exciting to hear and see that you are engaging with the community! I will def be looking to support at CIB level if that is the same $50-ish that it is for other CIBs. Wondering if it might make sense to offer a "signed manual" level in addition to a "signed cart" level? really looking forward to seeing things as you released them; sounds like you have a lot of ideas!
  8. are these for finished releases only, or anything that comes out during the time period? Maybe a "Best/Most Intriguing WIP" category would be appropriate as well?
  9. It makes me happy when the immortal john hancock is happy. which is basically all the time!
  10. The annual atari age gathering could be TacoCon! TacoPalooza is the associated music festival...
  11. Ah, Caldors and Bradlees... I was also thinking of Korvette's and TSS. Anyone remember Grant's?
  12. Glad that you are still around! Let's make some noise and see if we can get someone to code your game!
  13. I was sorry that no one ever picked that up to work on it! Brian O was a great guy and did terrific artwork and he was really dedicated to figuring out as much as a non-coder could to make the game developable. And he did terrific box art for all kinds of projects. Is he still around?
  14. I used to love starlog in the late 70s early 80s! FTW!
  15. This was the game that I *thought* I was going to program when I got the basic programming cartridge in 1979 or 1980! Of course, I never did. So fun that someone else made it!
  16. Man, the classics *never* go out of style!
  17. Hahahahahhahahaha! In your honor, I will be increasing my donation to Duane's crazy mixed-up bed fund to match yours.
  18. Quick, Commissioner, to the AA signal! Nathan, are you on this? The AA logo surrounded by some little joysticks, paddles, and some of the characters or ships from the games that you've worked on? No reason that AA shouldn't have it's own fabric design!
  19. Other possible names: Mapsy Mopsy (if Mappy were a rabbit) Coppy Cappy Capsy etc. anyhoo, super excited that you guys are working on this. Looks like it will be tons of fun!
  20. Me, too! I'm a little tapped out now, otherwise it would have been more. Will see if I can throw in some more scratch later.
  21. Yay! I am looking forward to it!
  22. So in many ways, the archetypal atari player? I always loved reading the instructions, though.
