Wow, I'm stunned that it was classed by the OP as a hidden gem, its one of the early games I feel in love with straight away. I never realised at the time it was an Apple port nor would I have cared, it was a great little shooter that was immensely fun.
Hidden, definitely not...

I've been collecting and playing various vintage games, computers and consoles for 15 years, i had never heard of it. Stumbled upon it when i was just wholesale downloading ROMS when i got my Atarimax cart a few years back and fell in love.

I never hear anyone talk about this game, and it is one of the best Galaxian clones i have ever played. The attack helicopters are terrifying, the waves change directions and speeds, and the mines and missiles keep you on your toes for positioning. And the little touches are amazing as well; Every level has a different nautical ditty play when you clear it, and there are ALOT of different songs, from "Drunken Sailor" to Popeye's Theme." There is even an option to use Paddle controllers for that extra nautical feel. Play this!

Damn 25 is a steal for a build of this quality. Make more!

One fully assembled for me please.

Got me excited for a second there
. You should probably have this moved to the wanted section. -
I would take the two carts off of you.

wow that does look pretty simple, I'm definitely in. Do you need to add files to the SD card other than the roms?Search "atari sdrive" on youtube and you'll find some good video's showing how it works.
-
if it's as easy as it sounds, I would take one assembled. Just boot the system up as though I where booting from a drive? Is there an actual graphic user interface, or do I need to load each ROM individually?ROMs can be just copied to microSD card on any PC with card reader.
Games starting are easy also - just assigning needed image to drive in bootloader and after it start game.
-
So would it be as simple as loading roms into the SD card? How complicated would this be to run games? As simple as an everdrive?

Going timeline is to be released by the end of February.

Does not everyone feel ripped off or what?!?
Like I got sooo much invested gosh!

Let me be clear, I am NOT complaining. Just filling Stevacide in.

Yea that's the same thread I read a while back regarding Bentley Bear...seems nothing has changed since "Should be availiable in November 2016"

The current going situation is "Should be available in February."

I meant just other Atari consoles.
The topic name confused me after then reading the post

I get it but it sort of confused and I'll bet the answer is none in the end, I can't imagine an arcade port that would only be on one platform....Hope I'm wrong

What are some of the best arcade game ports available on 8-bit that arent on other consoles?

Interested in a cart! Interested in a cart! is there a list somewhere?

Didn't realize the guy was cheating, didn't watch it. I had a chance to play a "Galaga 3" machine at a campsite years ago, as well as owning namco museum vol 2.

Such a great game with so few ports. Considering the 7800 has the ability to process a reletively high number of sprites on a static screen, this seems like a perfect fit. Or is it too much for the 7800? Obviously sound is a problem without a pokey...

Missile Command TB is out of stock, any more coming soon?

My cart is filling in anticipation...

It is a CX-22.
Also the first download on page one is a Trak-Ball Detect program if you can run it on real hardware. Just move the ball and it will detect the type of signal detected.
If you can't run that, it is a CX-22.
Yeah don't have a way to run the detect program on my 7800. But i shall move forward as though it is a CX-22, thanks.
-
I'm sure it is probably listed somewhere, but how do i tell if my CX-80 is CX-22 or cx 80 compatible? I bought it sealed brand new, has like 6 different languages on the box, silver box. Is there something inside the trackball itself i can use to determine which versions of these hacks i need?

Yes, defender for msx has a software smooth scrolling so no surprise its coleco port is good as well
Anyway in Uridium for msx the 2/3 of the screen is scrolling
In Defender (Desolator on msx) the background is almost empty, so it is simpler to make it scrollAbout coleco and msx, using an SGM on coleco you get 32Kram and an AY8910 audio chip, that make the coleco almost identical to an msx1That defender does look pretty solid.

agreed, wish all the releases had the rainbow. Although, some repro Activision labels would be nice for the particularly nasty actiplaques. I've gotten some nice Sega and NES repros from retrogamecases.com for 5 bucks a pop, but they don't do Atari, considering most atari games aren't even worth 5 bucks...I kinda prefer the other ones cause the rainbow was quite signature of Activision's games. These don't have that.

New member hello and thank you
