  1. Ah so either way I should've had audio. Probably the bad caps or the Audio Chip then I suppose.
  2. Just grabbed a 128 at an estate sale with just the AC. Plugged it in with my C64 composite and it worked, but I was only getting faint clicking for audio. Suspecting a bad audio chip I opened it up and found capacitors 105 and 104 where in pretty rough shape. I pulled them right off the board and ordered a cap kit, but got to thinking, was my audio issue just caused by the cable not being 100 percent compatible? In hindsight I should've tried the RF out before I pulled the bad caps.
  3. I ultimately went with the 512K Triad board, install was a breeze.
  4. Thanks. I tried a Google search and hadn't had much luck. I'm sure I just wasn't looking in the right places. I appreciate you taking the time to give me the info.
  5. So I've already got a 32K sidecar I bought a few years back. While I have a original PEB I loathe heaving the thing out and hooking it up, so I'd probably just be going side port. Does running the TIPI need the extra RAM from SAMS? I have zero experience with raspberry Pis, is it pretty straight forward?
  6. No plans on selling them, just want to make sure they're nothing that needs to be archived before I stick them on a shelf forever.
  7. I'm trying to dig into the deeper cuts with my 99 and start discovering the software that was only released in disk format, what are my modern options? I've heard the NanoPEB discussed alot, although that seems a bit dated now and not easily available. I've also seen the TIPI discussed, but that seems to be a bit more advanced, it appears as though i need to set up my own Raspberry Pi to use it? Most all of my other 8-bit computers seem to have a very approachable SD floppy emulator device, is there one for the TI99 that I'm missing?
  8. Thanks again for all the help, with that and an order from Stickeryou.com I'm looking good.
  9. Wow I don't need anything right now but I just want to say, this is one of the best put together For Sale posts I've ever seen. You obviously put alot of work into it, nicely done.
  10. Wow, what are the odds of that! Still, I cobbled together an order from Stickeryou.com, but if I completely botched that I'll send you a PM
  11. Did you make them or did you have someone else make them for you? I've been trying to get this and a set of the Atarisoft end labels made.
  12. Just took a chance on a parts TI994a because one of the pics had what looked like a Fun Ware cart without a label. Sure enough, its a copy of Hen House. Still, I would like to try and replace the label. Don't suppose anyone makes reproduction labels, or at best has a scan of the originals?
  13. While not an Atari exclusive, I still go back to Wavy Navy. One of the deepest fixed screen shooters with lots of variety, plus some great nautical tunes after every level.
  14. Yep, ordered a 512K Triad board from Mark Marlette.
  15. Yes, I did that. Got to title then the command line error.
  16. Aha! I'm closer. Mounted the file to drive 0, then launch DOS, then type EX ROGUE -X And hit enter. Get to the title screen, press space, then get hit with Rogue: unknown command line argument I'm sure this would be easier with a floppy disk and a drive... still, I'm proud I made it this far as a relative noob.
  17. So it would go more like this? DRIVE 0,"ROGUE128K" OK DOS<ENTER> ROGUE <ENTER> I'm still fairly new to the Tandy scene, sorry if this sounds dumb.
  18. Trying to launch the 128K version of Rogue from my SDC and it's tripping up. I see the file is has a tag on it that says OS9, I imagine that is the snag. Anybody know what I'm doing wrong? DRIVE 0,"ROGUE128K" OK LOADM "ROGUE128K and I get an error code. When I check DIR to see if the .DSK is mounted I get garbled data.
  19. Already shopping for a RAM board ?
  20. Only link I found was this https://www.frontiernet.net/~mmarlette/Cloud-9/Hardware/512K.html Is this a trusted seller?
  21. With the new release of JOUST, I've realized alot of the best stuff for CoCo3 needs 512K of RAM. a quick Google turned up the boomerang boards that looked super easy, but that gentleman doesn't seem to be making them any more. What are my options?
