  1. I would expect that most collectors already have a model 1; why not collect this new hardware also? Eh, I have no problem with its existence per se, I guess I would rather spend my collecting dollars on something more usefull. Well, when it's a rarity in 20 years' time... AH, touche.

  3. I'm with the hater crowd- I don't know about you guys, but Sega's are all over the place in my neck of the woods for next to nothing. why buy this thing for more? Most of us are collectors, wouldn't you much rather have a nice shiny model 1?
  4. Wow, am I really going to be the first one to mention Protector/YASI?!?! if were including homebrews, then these games are the undisputed champs. and if you DONT own these games, check this guy out and buy em for cheap! http://www.classicgamecreations.com/ordering.html
  5. Hmm. Vector pilot is definately going to be in the running, and PacmanPlus definately has a few titles going for him as well.
  6. When I was trying out the ROM I took a video of me playing it through to the end once through. The tunnels start at about 2:54. To get through them you have to fly all the way to the right, then push back and down (or up, depending). You can't go backwards in the game so don't worry about hitting your butt. Sorry for the tilted camera.. it was on a blanket I think. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LkNZW-Y8W70&feature=youtu.be Yeah, I know HOW to get through it, I just always mess it up .
  7. Also got mine today. everything is aces. STILL hate that part where you gotta fly through the high and low tunnels. I crash everytime.
  8. I bought an Xbox 360 just for geometry wars. obviously I've enjoyed a few other titles along the way, but both Geometry wars games are EPIC.
  9. Close call. Going into a thrift and seeing someone walking out with gold right as your walking in is a great fear of mine.
  10. Haha, I don't know if that will ever happen. Actually, I think Elemental Master used to be worth more in the past, but it seems you can get CIB copies from $10 - $15 now. Still, it's a great game and definitely worth the price! I don't know, alot of the sega games have krept up a bit lately, especially complete in box. I couldn't snag a CIB truxton for less then twenty when I was looking a month ago. a few years back, they were everywhere for nothing.
  11. thats a good price for Golden Axe Warrior. If my funds werent promised elsewhere, I'd be mighty tempted!
  12. I've been trying to track down alot of the better sega shooters the last few weeks. Just got a shiny complete copy of Hellfire of the ebay today, the game is a BEAST. haven't gotten past the pharoah boss on stage 2 yet . A few other great titles I've been playing- Outrun- Used to play this all the time at a local restaraunt when I was a kid. still a great racer. I nsector X- Pretty decent shooter. Lightening Force- This game was a monster to beat, even WITH the 99 live cheat code. Beautiful scrolling effects, probably the prettiest shooter on the system. Burning Force- A Namco port, very similair to Space harrier. The first stage of each area is motorcycle, then Aircraft. there are awesome power ups, and little jump pads to pop you in the air when your on the motor bike. Each area ends with a bonus round where you are trying to collect bonus points. Check this one out, It surprised me. Someone mentioned Air buster a few posts back. I played the TG16 port (Aero Blasters) and loved this game. the music was awesome. I'm waiting for a copy of Elemental master to show up in the mail. trying to track down all the Renovation shooters before the prices go way up .
  13. the music in 1942 on the NES will make your EARS BLEED.
  14. It probably retails for 649.99. . seriously though, this looks a bit like those weird coleco brand sega handhelds that came out a few years ago, with a bunch of games built in. If that's the case I'll snag one for cheap. If they're actually trying to play with the big boys (Nintendo, Sony, Apple, ETC) then I will be skeptical of their success.
  15. Also, if one were to try to resell it, your soul would burn in a lake of fire .
  16. I might be interested in a bubble bobble 2 in a week when my ebay auctions are up.
  17. LOL. Someone either has a sense of humor or is lacking a dictionary
  18. Please add me to the NTSC list, PM sent your way PMP.
  19. I don't pay those prices for common games either so time to get off your high horse Raoh. What I'm trying to tell and what you don’t seem to comprehend is that people on Ebay are willing to pay such prices and do so consistently; RarityGuide.com has the statistics to back this up. You are arguing against logic and fact; the very same thing you accused me of. While I’m not going to call you an obstinate twit I will point out the irony. The majority of people who shop at Ebay are not savvy about rarity and prices and they pay a premium for their convenience. This is how Resellers make a profit. Remember the key word here is RETAIL. Bubble Bobble 2 is pretty rare as it was an exclusive rental only via Blockbuster Video just like Flintstones Dino Peak; it was never sold in retail stores. Average price is $149.99 on Ebay. If it was me I would try to get $199.99 via Buy It Now for a few weeks then lower the price to $149.99 if it doesn’t sell. Keep in mind those are retail/reseller prices though. You could easily find a better deal if you put some effort into it. OBJECTION! I clearly remember seeing Bubble bobble 2 for sale at my local electronics store (media play) when I was younger for the princely sum of 59.99.
  20. Or you could just talk to Golden.ax and get yourself a top notch conversion .
  21. You know I'm an idiot, I forgot Nintendoage had a gameboy section .
