Looks like mostly computer parts, including a lot of games on floppy (although that isn't exactly clear from the post), and then just a dozen or so 2600 carts.
Some of the carts are scarce, and so depending on condition, could be nice to have. Might be some manuals, too? Might even be boxes, although it's not mentioned.
Bottom line for me would be "do I want or can I sell (or be bothered to try and sell!) an 805 module, printer, and disc drive after I have salvaged the games and manuals I want . . . "
If your answer is "yes," or you have a desire to have more hardware, I'd say the price is OK. Maybe knock it down to $55 on the spot, if you can.
Go and see, as always, right?
That's my craigs philosophy!-a2a
Aaaaah, so all the 800 games are on floppy? or are there a bunch of games on floppy, and the listed games on cartridge? if the 800 games are all on floppy, then I'd pass.

I'd personally buy it just for the 800 stuff alone. NEVER find games in the wild for the 8bitz, at least not in my neck of the woods.
 -
Do you have one of the 8-bits? the version of kaboom on the home computers is two player versus, with one player controlling the bomber and the other controlling the buckets. it alternates between who's doing what. I nearly lost my mind when I realised this. also, it plays a a note from a familiar tune every bomb you catch, and as the play gets faster the music gets more dramatic. Kaboom is one of my all time favorites and this version is the best!!I was working on a console this evening and decided, for the heck of it, to toss in Kaboom! to "test" it. I played for a few minutes and decided to see if I could get my wife to play it. She sat down, gave me her "why am I in here" look, and took the paddle. I hit the reset switch and she started playing. At first, she died quickly. But after a few resets, she got better ... and better. There were quite a few "last game" comments, and smiles. After a good 20 minutes of sitting on her own, she finally got up to go to the bathroom. Her last comment: "I'll be back".

She hasn't played an honest game with me, or really even the kids, in years. It was really good to see her enjoy herself, if only for a few minutes.

I don't hear many people talking about this game, it's easily one of my favorites!!! my high score is 172500, any challengers?

I always liked the little start tune in Pressure Cooker myself. Pitfall II's music was amazing as well. I'm not sure if the Reactor background sounds count as music but they were pretty cool.
Tempest
The song from pressure cooker definitely!!! had that as my cell phone text alert for a long time!!

Three cheers for the one of the best hobbyist programmers around! Pac man collection is a masterpiece that clearly had a lot of work put into it. as soon as the store opens again, I intend on buying more of his craft. Bob! Bob! Bob!!!

Opcode announced he was looking at a version of 7800 Millipede last year. However, I'm not sure if its still going ahead.
WANT. i try to avoid speculation on what games programmers should be making, since i don't know much about programming and if they put the effort into any game it will be ones they want to program. that being said, millipede does seem like "low hanging fruit" if you know what i mean

A good Galaga, Millipede, Defender, Night Driver(arcade), Bosconian, 1942,...
MILLIPEDE!!!! probably wouldn't be too hard to hack the already excellent 7800 Centipede.....

Smitheerens + The Voice = instant fun for whomever buys this. That's the console's killer app right there, along with Killer Bees, Pick Axe Pete, Loony Balloon, the board games, and a few other bits and bobs.
Missed me, turkey!!

PM sent for that qbert red label!

Sorry, I'm sure this was addressed earlier, but what are the memory requirements for this? will it work with a stock 64k XL?

If you have a 1Mbyte Flashcart (EDIT: or the official game cartridge), then it will work on stock 64kB XL hardware.
The .bin Keeps crashing in my atari800 emulator. do I need to have specific settings applied?
EDIT: just got it, changed cartridge type. very nice!!

Just got my hands on a lightgun, any one know a good list of compatible A8 games?
-
Could the OP get some sort of A8 harmony cart, if he/she just wants to play 'em? Is there a such thing for A8.
yup, thats what I did when I realized how IMPOSSIBLE these games are to find. especially in the states. check out this link

You can even use it for disk and cassette games as long as you find the right kind of rom.
