  1. Those commands are written for either Linux or Mac. On Windows, use the Windows Command Prompt and use backslashes instead of forward slashes. You need to be in the root of the repository (wherever you cloned or unzipped the download) before running the commands.
  2. Be sure to update the bootloader on the Pi 4. There are fixes for power and heat management on both the SoC and the USB 3 controller. Get package rpi-eeprom, then run sudo rpi-eeprom-update. https://www.geeks3d.com/20191101/raspberry-pi-4-new-firmware-reduces-power-consumption-and-boards-temperatures/
  3. I'm trying to bring back a TI that I got in a salvage lot. The power switch was missing, so I printed a new one. Unfortunately, it turns out the internal carrier that bridges the outer switch to the inner switch on the board is also missing. Does anyone have a print design they'd be willing to share?
  4. According to the album text, it's a working controller for Kerbal Space Program, which is a complex PC spaceflight simulator.
  5. I couldn't walk by without playing it, even though I have a copy at home. The castle was so awesome!
  6. #27 received. Such an amazing job, Tursi!
  7. I just got everything mounted for my TIPI PEB, so I figured I'd share the parts specs. I bought assortments because I know I'll use them on other projects. Screws: #2-56x3/8" - I suspect if you used shorter screws, you'd have trouble getting the nuts started at the USB port end of the Pi. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BWBPV5G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Washers: 2x M3 nylon per screw. This gave me enough clearance, but not by much. I had trouble fitting a simple cable tie under the Pi to help tidy the wiring. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079D5RRFH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  8. Folks who have gone this route, how did you fit the 120mm fan into place? The original mounting holes are for an 80mm fan.
  9. I liked having the option, but the warnings Drive gives about using an unsigned extension might scare people off. But that's part of the magic of open source. If someone here is passionate enough about the feature, they can always fix it and submit a pull request for your consideration. This thing is so cool. Thanks for continuing to improve it! I love the feature to link directly to a cart.
  10. Would USB Type C be an alternative worth considering? The connector is nice and small, but I don't know much about the necessary controllers other than you can route DisplayPort lanes in.
  11. Really not much effort, other than what was needed to figure out the gcc for TI install. At least now I have a starting point for something more ambitious.
  12. Wow. Sorry. It was just a privacy policy joke.
  13. After deleting emails last week from every service I use, I felt a need to put a little something together. No fair disassembling to look at my horrible code. Would have had it done sooner, but I was traveling. gdpr.bin
  14. It was MSI. Last few pictures of this thread. https://www.99er.net/chicago/chicago.html I always loved going to see them!
  15. You've almost certainly got partitions on the card that Windows Explorer is not going to show you. There should at least be a Linux swap partition. You will need to use Disk Management in Windows or gparted on Linux.
  16. Someone on the "TI 99ers" Facebook page just posted 2 PEBs with drives and cards for sale in Quebec City. https://www.facebook.com/groups/2209774843/permalink/10155883103574844/
  17. Played through a few times with my kids. Thanks for doing this!
  18. In that context, probably the RPG programming language from IBM: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IBM_RPG RPG is also the name of the first level of the Tron arcade game, followed by COBOL and BASIC.
  19. PeBo discusses that problem in this post: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/267952-my-finalgrom99-venture/?p=3813426
  20. Similar things will show up if you use a Mac to set up your card, like .spotlight-v100. You can run 'dotclean /Volumes/YOURCARD' from a terminal window before you eject the card.
  21. I've glanced through the source and didn't see it, but I'm not really a web developer. Is there a way to create a js99er URL with configuration options for the emulator? Something like http://js99er.net?software=Parsec?speech=true
  22. That documentation is very well done. Great work!
  23. My Lotharek is almost here. Hopefully tomorrow! I bought an empty NIB PEB from a local seller on eBay. He was a developer back in the heyday and bought an extra in case his went bad. It was great not to pay shipping. I only had a cassette recorder as a kid, so I'm excited to finally get to use disk-based software.
  24. I can't hear the song Derezzed without thinking of all those hours spent listening to cassette files loading. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m4cgLL8JaVI
