  1. Benny, you must be strong now... but Bill Shatner never played in Alien, he was in Star Trek. Different Sci Fi franchise. So sadly, the Alien game also is completely shatless. :(

I'll be sure to play it while wearing my Shatner/Kirk halloween mask!

  2. How about an extended run of Blix carts, but instead of a price of $35 each, set the price at $75 each, and whoever buys one also gets an Intellivision Flashback II if and when it comes out (just pay for shipping when the time comes). Everyone's reasonably happy, then.

Why would they even have to throw in the Flashback II??? They could just make additional copies available at $75.00 each and Intv. hoarders would line up around the block to purchase 3 copies each…not to mention, they would do so in no less than three pre-order threads! :lolblue:

PS: If you think I am poking fun at anyone here, you are right. I love making fun of my own OCD collecting tendencies! :P

  3. Well, I bit on the Mario 3D World bundle. It's a good deal with that game and I now I don't have to worry about whether the bundle will still be available later.

You also don't have to worry about getting trampled by some out of control, Black Friday hoarder. IMHO, Black Friday deals are totally not worth the hassle/aggravation.

  4. I cancelled my pre orders. Im not buying Atgame products anymore. Join the boycott, cancel your orders. Atgames is a business, they spit in the face of those who wanted the blix games and couldnt make it to cge.... Join the boycott, cancel your pre orders and dont buy their products.

Atgames is a business…plain and simple. I think that sums it up. They bought the rights to Blix, and for that reason, I am amazed that 30 copies were made available at all.

I was not able to go to CGE, but I can live with that. If I needed that game terribly, I could have asked (begged) someone to pick it up for me. That, or I could always buy it for $1000 on eBay in a week. Thankfully, I can easily live without a homebrew which the publishers described as "having audio problems on some consoles". As far as I am concerned, I don't need that one.

PS: How much do you want to bet they will wait till this game is hyped up through the roof (by threads like this and the others already posted), and then offer it up for sale for $70 to $90…just saying.

  5. Thanks Ben! Good to see you again!

    Peace,

    Chip

    Thanks Chip!

I just pulled all of the carts and I have everything EXCEPT for the following:

    • Adventure (text)
    • Fast Eddie

My only carts with label concerns are the coleco and activation titles. All activation carts seem to end up with glue spotting, so I can't help that. The labels are intact and fully legible. Also, the Coleco carts have the standard paint cracking on the seam where the label wraps at the front of the cartridge.

I will send you pics later this evening. Thanks again!

    Sincerely,

    Ben

  6. Just got a unit again (Sunnyvale Heavy Sixer) after being forced to sell my entire collection a few years ago to pay the bills. This is my first post in a long while, but I figured I'd look here to buy games first so I can give the great people here my money instead of some faceless seller on eBay. :)

I'm looking for the following carts with the only prerequisite being that the labels are in great condition. Thanks in advance if anyone can help me out. Also, if you collect comic books I have thousands to trade as I sell them for a living.

    Miniature Golf (text label)

    Space Invaders (text label)

    Bowling (text label)

    Backgammon (text label)

    Demon Attack

    Berzerk

    Donkey Kong (Coleco)

    Carnival (Coleco)

    Defender

    Video Pinball (capital letters)

    Video Chess (text label)

    Video Checkers (text label)

    Adventure (text label)

    Yar's Revenge

    Super Breakout

    Phoenix

    Ms. Pac-Man

    Space Jockey (VidTec)

    Fast Eddie (Fox)

    Warlords

Star Wars : ESB (Parker Brothers)

    Frogger (Parker Brothers)

    Kaboom (Activision)

    Pitfall (Activision)

    Stampede (Activision)

I'm sure there will be others I think of as time goes by, but that's a good start. Thanks again in advance.

    Peace,

    Chip

I think I have a majority of these…I will check for you shortly and report back with pics. ;)

  7. All that matters is that I consider all of these retro-systems to be part of MY GENERATION. I grew up on these systems, and at the time I couldn't have really cared less which one was generation 1, 2, 3, etc...

Nowadays, if I were to try and figure out which one is from which actual generation, I would go nuts and develop a stutter….maybe that explains what happened to Roger Daltrey...

  8. I recieved this from someone who was throwing it out. All I know that it is a controller for a display in a store. I am willing to sell it if the price is right, but I have no idea what it is worth. What can you guys tell me about it?

I am a game collector, but this is the first time I've ever dealt with anything to do with Atari. I am mostly a Nintendo system person, but jumped at the chance when someone offered me their Atari system for free. I was told that it works, but my tv is too new to try and play it.

    Where are you located?
