  1. That is really nice!!! Iv'e never seen one in a shell like that either. Excellent find!
  2. You should list this in the WANTED section of the marketplace, as you will likely get more traffic and visibility to suit your specific needs in there.
  3. I just completed a transaction with atarigal in which I sold her an Atari 2600, controllers and a ton of games. She paid immediately and was wonderful about communication throughout. A+++ person to work with. I would highly recommend to all AA buyers / sellers. -Ben
  4. I will be there!!!! PS: I never heard back from you about the printing quote... Sorry Yuppicide...I should have been clearer. Even with digital, there are "set up charges", but that is more of a technical term. It is all about file prep. If the files provided are completely ready to print, then the set up is extremely minimal. Set up includes proofing for spelling (although this might not be so important on a Taiwan Cooper repro ), color correction and e-proofs. Let me know if you are happy with your current run. I can easily show you some print samples in the future, if you want a comparison on quality or price for printing. In any case, I'll be there Saturday and I'm excited to take a peek at your project. Any particular time you are planning to be there? -Ben
  5. This is my second time buying from CPUWIZ, and everything was perfect! Fast shipping, well packaged, great communication and AWESOME looking new proto carts for my gaming pleasure! Thanks again CPUWIZ!!!!! Gotta go try em out now...the wife won't see me for the next few days!
  6. Just received my trade from Jasonbar and everything went fantastic! Shipping was really fast, great communication and an extremely fair and painless trade process. 100% positive AA experience! Thanks again Jason!
  7. The Gears of War 3 Beta on Xbox 360 and Robotron 2084 for 7800 (with two joysticks...SWEET!!!!)
  8. Workin on it Kaboom...I just got hung up with work. I'll test out that deck for you tonight.
  9. I will be there!!!! PS: I never heard back from you about the printing quote...
  10. So this is where the Flashback originaly came from? Interesting. And I hope they do something with the prototypes someday. Have to wonder if there was any way to really major a project on this project. I don't know how many they would expect to sell, but you have to figure expenses would be about a million dollars. Anything over $50 and I can't see many people buying it. Thanks for the info guys. it would sound viable if u can sell about 20000 units at 50 bucks. IMHO, 20,000 units is a pretty high benchmark for a 2600 / 7800 that is gonna cost $50 each in 2011. I'm not sure there is that high a demand unfortunately for a classic console like this one...hence, the Flashback. On a personal note, I would love to see this become available. Minty new hardware would be spectacular!
  11. Whoa, whoa...hold up a sec...are you trying to tell me that the pyramids WEREN'T build by aliens????? Does that mean I can finally take off my protective tinfoil hat???
  12. Interessting approach for a Zookeeper port, albeit a bit close to Cent/Millipede.
  13. Yep...mainstream picked up on the story now: http://www.foxnews.c...ed-hack-attack/ QUOTE: Hackers may have obtained users' names, home addresses, addresses, birthdates, PlayStation usernames and passwords, and answers to password security questions, according to the blog post. There was no evidence that credit card information had been compromised, but Sony said it "cannot rule out the possibility" that hackers could access such information. and here: http://www.cnn.com/2...dex.html?hpt=T1 Just one more reason I am thankful that I don't place any credit cards on file - online!!! I hope they catch those hackers and hang em by their thumbs!
  14. This is what I've always used as my checklist.
  15. I got mine today and it is awesome!!!!! I am so psyched that I can now play Robotron on 7800 with two joysticks!!!!! The responsiveness of the controls is super good! I would recommend this joystick to anyone who wants to have that arcade feel when using their Atari!
  16. Starcastle is rare but it's more of a sought after rareness than actual machines rareness. There is easily hundreds of them. I just loved Star Castle (almost as much as Tempest - which I own), and in all of my searches, I have never come across one in the wild that looked that clean. That's why I feel It's a shame that it was turned into a multi cab.
  17. I second that motion....Pics of the label would be cool!
  18. I got a lot of Atari stuff not to long ago and it included a box of loose PCB's. One of them was a with a rom chip on it and included Armor Ambush. I never guessed that there could be anything weird about it and there probably isn't, but it is a strange looking board. It is really short. I just figured I would share. Maybe someone would have better knowledge of this one. Also, if it is normal, it is a fine example of a 2600 M-network port that doesn't have the droplet.
  19. I think you missed a rather important detail in his post: BenG76 said: "I did put a rather high buy it now price on it. I will look at any reasonable offers that come my way. If anyone is interested please PM me here at Atari Age or send me an offer through Ebay." Nice collection BenG! Wish I had the cash...a handful of those games are on my need list! Best of luck!
  20. I guess not... Posted on eBay: Q: Are you really serious that you'd destroy this machine rather than sell it at a lower price? Your $199.95 starting bid is too high. Maybe it will sell for more than that once you get people competing, but you have to get people competing for it first. Also, your description mentions that you've removed hardware that appears in the picture. That doesn't add confidence to users that they will get what they are paying for. Finally, is the monitor included? I don't recall seeing that in the description.Apr-22-11 A: Yes, I am serious. No, actually, the price is too low for the condition of this computer. I have been watching Amiga 3000 auctions for several months now, and the average sold price was around $300 or more, and they were in worse shape then mine. Also, the Amiga 3000 box was never included in those auctions, but, it is in this auction. No, the monitor is not included, not for such a low starting bid amount of only $199.99. I could sell the monitor for at least $100 or more. You must be one of those jerks that try to get something for nothing. Well, that will never happen with me. end eBay post... This guy really has a screw loose!!! He actually would rather destroy it than possibly get a few bucks less!!!! Oh well...I guess another one bites the dust...
  21. It also works on 2600 Solaris. I think you mean Sentinel. Mitch yea...it was ridiculously late when I wrote that. Thanks for the correction.
  22. I got my Atari when I was in 2nd grade. It was a get well gift for a series of surgical procedures I had to endure. While recovering, all of my neighborhood friends would come to visit. They came to wish me well, but more importantly...this was 1979. My house became the Atari house, as we were the only ones in town who had this six-switched, space-age miracle! I had three games to start: Combat, Space Invaders and Adventure. Talk about hours and hours of play time! I never got bored. My favorite memories were those later on, as more of my friends also got their Atari's. We would go to each other's houses and each bring our game collections. Since money was tight back then, all of the kids would buy games someone else didn't have. When we would get together, it would be a day of Atari with one "huge" library of games (and by huge I am talking about maybe 40 total between the whole group). It was awesome getting to play those games I didn't own!!!! I used to look forward to that so much. Back then, we appreciated everything so much more. Those were the days!
  23. I think it had a joystick but honestly I don't remember, it was so long ago. I went to school in Boston. POLYBIUS????? http://en.wikipedia..../Polybius_(game) http://www.coinop.org/g.aspx/103223/Polybius.html
