  1. I only ever played Jetmoto once and GT2 4 times. Just not too into it. If I get Namco Museum any volume), SURE!!!
  2. Got back from the arcade that had Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga, Donkey Kong, Mr. Do!, Pac-Gal, and Frogger. My mom got to round 3 in Ms. Pac-Man on her last of the 5 lives and said "I'm really good at this game!". :P

That's impossible. You have to agree that you're at least 13 to sign up.

:? I never was prompted that I have to be at least 13... I've heard of some younger members on here. I don't want to name any.
  3. Oh. I just got back from the arcade which I played Pac-Man at.
  4. A near minty fat Playstation I got at a garage sale for $5, it had no cables so I had to use my brother's "abandoned" Playstation 2's cables, Jetmoto 2, and Gran Turismo 2 (only simulation mode). Only a system, PS2 cables, JetMoto 2, and Gran Turismo 2 Simulation Mode.
  5. :? I can recieve PMs. You're welcome, I;m surprised no one else wished you a happy Bday..
  6. Is it just me or are the Sears H6ers more common than Atari H6ers?

  8. Same here!!! What a coincidence. I used to want to go to the car washes all the time... As long as ti has brushes.
  9. I always use Windex on e cuetip after the eraser.
  10. What Schizo is saying is that you should save for a lawn mower so you can start mowing people's lawns for more money. Easy $15 per lawn, if it's small. 2 or 3 hours of work on a weekend and you'll be the richest self-made 10 year old on your block. It's also great exersize. There's so much a kid your age can do to rake in some dough. Lawn mowing, snow shoveling (if you live where it snows), car wash, sweeping the garage and driveway, etc. I'm in sunny CA, no snow here. I actually LOVE to clean cars and help my dad... But I also go to the car wash alot.
  11. Wow! I'm getting one in pretty bad shape. I'll probably do that! Thanks for the info. I was so confused.
  12. Have you ever played to at least round 5 on the arcade Pac-Man? The round fruits are: 1:cherry 2:swrawberry 3:orange 4:2nd orange 5:apple 6:2nd apple 7:melon 8:2nd melon 9:galaxian 10:2nd galaxian 11:bell 12:2nd bell 13-255:key The maze change is made to be New-Puck-X which is an old arcade hack. It's supposed to be there.
  13. Wow, what's the story behind the Heavy Vader? I've never even heard of one before. Same here. Never heard of it! It's beautiful, though!
  14. Vacation's already almost over. Too late. I brought my Game Boy Color with a Handy Pak Color, Ms. Pac-Man (color edition), Tetris, Pac-Man, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater (which I don't even know how to play. ), and Pokemom Trading Card Game. It's my whole collection. For 2600, I brought a Sears 4sw model with 2 joysticks (one without rubber boot, something's being done to that boot), a Quickshot (which was untested as-is and it works), a pair of paddles, some dust, Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Dig Dug, Kaboom!, Warlords, Super Breakout, Video Olympics, Enduro, Space Invaders, Frogger, Combat, and River Raid.
  15. Oh, by the way, I just went to the flea market. There was an odd blue Atari game with a T-handle for $.50. I left it.
  16. True. I forgot to mention that. Edited post.
  17. You don't need a special Sega/Atari extension cable. You can just use a simple 9-pin cable. One end male, one end female. Plug one end into the system, and plug the controller into the other. Extension cables are just big rip offs. Remember!!! USE A SERIAL CABLE, not a Null modem cale.
  18. I agree, Sebob. Super Mario world at the nearest retro game store is $17, Super MariO All-Stars is $27, Super Mario Advance 2 is $17, SMB3 is $20, SMB2 is $14, SMB/DH is $10. It's crazy, but I always get a free 10% discount because I'm good friends with the employees and sometimes I even get free games.
  19. Quite a few months ago, my mom and I were just going to our usual trip to Goodwill. I didn't know much about NES, Atari, etc., but I knew what they looked like and if I found one for cheap I would take it. I was just strolling down the isles, and while I was looking at something (I think it was a cabinet), but in the corner of my eye, I spotted a white/grey machine. Before I looked at it directly, I thought and almost even yelled NES!!!!! It was one of the earlier ones because it dosen't have the 1800 number on the door, it was on the bottom. As I was looking on the bottom to find where the 1800 number was, I found the price. WHOLLY MOLLY! $6 and it was in cosmetically MINT condition!!! Even though I had no money, my mom bought it for me. It was the beginning of my collection. It was the centerpeice of my playroom. I was sooo exited..... Only to realize it had NO cables, NO games, and NO nothing. I had no way to test it. About a month later, I went to a Gamestop to get a Namco Museum for PS2, but they lied that they got a brand new sealed copy, bla bla bla, so I returned it. My mom was going to her favorite far-away grocery store, and my dad took me to the video game store next to it. I was just looking around for Namco Museum for the PS1, and my dad poked me on the back and said, "Is this what you're looking for?" as he held up an NES controller, and I chased him all around the store until I could reach it. I got it while I was in a specific corner.... Dedicated to NES, SNES, N64, Genesis, and Dreamcast. I immediately started searching for games I wanted and cables, but I was short on money. There were lots of good games hidden in the back and they had rediculously low prices. I ended up getting Pac-Man (Tengen liscenced), Tetris, an NES power supply, and 2 controllers. I did want Dr. Mario, Super Mario Bros., and Donkey Kong, but I was out of $$. We drove ALL the way home, and I immediately started hooking up the NES (we have tons of AV cables in our house), and I was all done, popped in Pac-Man..... Turned it on...... Scrambled screen... I forgot! I was supposed to clean it and move the pins back and forth to bend them back into place. I cleaned the games with Alchohol, that didn't help. I tried Windex and used the move ack and forth technique (which I learned from Rinrygamegame on Youtube), and voila! Pac-Man worked with no problems. Tetris, was a pain... I tried everything. Claning, snapping it down, moving the pins... It didn't help. I waited until the next dat to try Tetris, and oddly enough, it worked. My collection keeps growing, and then I learned how to clean the pins.. i took it apart, blah blah blah. Yay! It works like it's brand new. I love it, and now my brother's addicted to Tetris. NOTE: I did not have to do any mods like disable the 10NES chip, new 72 pin connector, etc. The previous owner seems like he/she barely used it.
